They have their favorites in there. As i waited almost a full 5 minutes for the conversation between the cashier and guest in front of me to finish, i barely got any eye contact. I am a religious tipper at starbucks cause i used to be a barista. But christ, i didnt even get a good morning. Screw this place. Worst customer service ive ever had. I had a tip in my had ready, when i got handed my regular coffee over the register she didnt even look at me while handing it. So, tip went strait back into my pocket. There were several people that left prior to me leaving due to this issue. This is a really vibin nice starbs and very well maintained. The workers are all pretty good and so sweet, especially Toni, he is efficient in his work as well as polite! But I can't say that for a dude that is bald, short, on the heavier side, and mean. He is a prude who shows no patience nor respect. Not a bad day, but a bad attitude. I felt the judgement from across the room as he stared at me, trying to be subtle. I started going here because it is closer to my home. I have been here 3x now and every time I wait about 10 minutes. I just left right now from this location and waited 15 minutes and all of the times visited were mobile orders and I order in advance. If I never mentioned my drink to them after 10 minutes, i probably would've waited longer than 15 minutes. My mobile order was still hanging from the receipt box not even touched or looked at. They just opened after a major renovation. They ruined the place. No sound proofing and as loud as the old floor of Wall Street. It is so loud that with the clerk leaning over her POS to hear, with both of us yelling, she still couldn't hear and got the order wrong. In fact, picking up the order at the other end, they got it wrong not once, not twice, not thrice, but FOUR times because they could not hear me yell "LARGE COFFEE." Despite what seemed like many more staff than usual, they were completely unorganized and the scene was chaos. Meanwhile, down in Spring Valley, there is another large store where they have sound proofing, people do not have to yell (including those at tables trying to talk to one another), and the staff is pleasant and can actually make a coffee without having to do it four times (and still get it wrong). It seems the newest Starbucks trend is to chase customers away. Imagine wherever you sit, it is like having a blender two feet from your head. * Let me clarify one thing. I do not blame any individual employee and their effort. The problems were primarily induced by how ridiculously loud it was. The lack of communication organization seems to be a Starbucks thing now. Years back at some places I frequented, in locations with half the staff and twice the volume, indoors and outdoors, they seemed to handle the business in stride. They have NITRO COLD BREW!!! Once you have nitro, it's hard to have regular coffee lol. Thumps up to the friendly staff and good service.

I feel like the people that give positive reviews to this starbucks must be family members or friends because this is the worst starbucks I've ever been to, one drink ruined okay, but all 3??? Worst thing is our order was written correctly I guess they just didn't care because instead of a vanilla ice latte double shot I got a plain nasty old coffee with ice, instead of a latte with coconut and 4 shots we got a cup full of coconut milk and instead of a mocha we got an ice coffee with whipped cream on top, how hard is to make a mocha? I been a barista before and this is super easy to do, our order was messed up by someone purely lazy, worst money ever wasted. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've had at Starbucks, I get my coffee every morning from the drive thru and then after dropping my son off at school I come back and get a refill either by paying $.50 or using my Gold Card app this time I was about to pay the $.50 the woman told me it was $1.00, I told her in the history of me getting a refills I've always housed my card or paid $.50 she said it was an additional $.50 for vanilla syrup. She scoffed and was condescending and flippant, and didn't even greet us when we came to the line. Poor attitude and bad temperament can throw another persons day off since most people start their morning with getting a cup of coffee. I would advise a change in attitude. I'm not sure if this persons name only that she was about 5'3" red haired and looked about 23-25 yrs old. She was not wearing a name tag. read more

As a past Starbucks barista, I value the team at this store immensely. With such a diverse team, they are efficient and on it each time I come through to get my coffee (which is a lot)! If I'm not in the area, I will make a special trip to get my espresso drink made by this wonderful team. The baristas at this store have their fun while running a well-oiled machine of a crew that is strong and works as ONE! I've never had to wait too long for a single beverage, let alone an order of 20 drinks when I've made a Starbucks run for my salon. Of course, having some of them know my face and name creates an even more local coffee shop feel! Y'all are amazing! Your store is beautiful and spacious! So disappointed in this BRAND NEW Starbucks. I only went to Starbucks as a last resort because The Living Room had no parking and Spacebar closes early on Sundays (Check out those local places for a cool internet cafe and help small businesses!) Anyways, I came here to work on a paper, plenty of open tables. I searched for an outlet for my laptop but all I saw was places where an outlet would be and a solid plastic cover. I asked the staff and they said outlets are found on the large middle table or along the wall where booth seating was. Well there was a meet up of friends occupying the large table and all the booth seating was full too. There was at least five or more open tables in this huge area and that's the only place that Starbucks decided to put outlets?! I rarely go to Starbucks due to their outrageous prices and lack of real food, but I don't mind spending the money if I am gonna occupy their business for a few hours and use their wifi and power. However, this poorly designed new Starbucks couldn't provide me with that. Staff was great though, the cashier who helped me was very friendly and made good conversation. Fabulous service! This store is just a little out of my way but worth a few extra minutes. I frequent the drive through before work 4 mornings a week. My average wait time is under 5 minutes. You're better off driving the extra mile and going down the road to the one on University. This Starbucks/drive thru always manages to mess up my simple order of an unsweetened iced coffee with a tiny splash of cream. Apparently "a tiny splash" means asking for a cup of milk instead of coffee. read more

I went to this location for the pop up party. I grossly underestimated how far it was from my house. I was speeding trying to make it before 2pm. I was ecstatic when I dipped into the short line, like 5 people, at 1:57pm. Unfortunately, one of the baristas with a red apron told me that the pop up shop was over. I asked how that could be when it's not 2p yet. He told me that there was too many people in front of me and I wouldn't make the cut off. This was disappointing to say the least, especially since I planned on also buying a pastry to go with my coffee. There were 2 registers open, but one of the cashiers randomly left right as the red apron was saying no more people would be getting the coffee. This kind of felt to me like they were purposely not trying to get all the people in line. I got to Ben, the cashier and I ordered my pastry and he asked me if I wanted anything else. I said well, I wanted a tall White Mocha, but whatever. He said, well let me try the code, to see if the promotion is over. The fact that he was willing to try, was great customer service and then the code actually worked and that was even better. And I will fully admit, I was not extremely happy at the time, and he had no reason to go out of his way for me, except for being a great barista. He completely changed my experience here and the lady handing off drinks from the bar was the right choice- she kept a smile and positive attitude the entire time. All in all, I had a good experience, I would recommend to the other cashier and the red apron, do your best to accommodate, just because it's "free" doesn't mean that people aren't going out of their way to go to your business and a positive experience can mean return business. read more
