I'm reaching out because I am extremely frustrated and honestly pretty angry about how the holiday bear release was handled here in Knoxville, Tennessee. I waited two months for this drop. I planned for it, woke up early, and made a special trip before work on Thursday expecting the product to actually be available. Instead, here's what I walked into: a parking lot overflowing, a line wrapped around the building, and customers being told the store received two bears total and both were sold directly to employees. Not a single customer had a fair shot. That alone is unacceptable. I then went to the Starbucks inside my local grocery store. They never received any bears at all. On Friday, I tried another Starbucks on my way home, and once again, that store also never received a single bear. At that point, it truly felt like a joke. Knoxville is a major city. The idea that multiple stores didn't receive the item, while others received so few that employees took them before customers even had the chance, is ridiculous and unfair. Whether this was a botched rollout or some kind of "social experiment," it left a lot of customers feeling misled and disrespected. People spent time, gas, and energy chasing a product that wasn't even stocked. There was zero communication, zero transparency, and no accountability for stores where employees bought the items out from under customers. I expect a real explanation for how this happened and what Starbucks plans to do to make this right and prevent it from happening again. read more

Really cute small Starbucks on the main road. Used the drive thru and it was incredibly fast and efficient. Staff are really friendly too.

Not having bathrooms or tables is offputting. Why even allow people to be able to go into the café part if you're not gonna have it set up as a café? The service was so slow compared to the people in the drive-through who were getting in and out three or four times faster than I did. Not having bathrooms it's just unacceptable. I wish there were a category of ratings that was without stars, to be used just to pass along information. This would be one. This store was recently remodeled. It has no interior seating at all. It should basically be considered a drive-in location. This is important to note since when I logged in, the very first review, in fact, talked about the ample seating, which made it a good Place to stop in and take a break from a long drive. No more. Also, I've said before about this and mini coffee shops... I think they should offer an express lane for people that come in and get just coffee. I mean black coffee with no additions whatsoever. Today, I walked inside and waited several minutes before I got serviced while they were completing orders for the cars in the drive-through. Seeing them make all the frothy soy milk, double whip extra foam cappuccinos while I'm waiting for someone to simply turn the tap and fill a cup with coffee gets kind of frustrating. I ordered coffee through the drive through. I gave a tip. They did not put a sleeve on my hot coffee. I had to ask for one. I think that when you give a tip that you should at least get a sleeve on your coffee, especially going through the drive through! I called and spoke to the Manager. His response was that they are not required to put a sleeve on your coffee. You have to ask for it. Do not go to this Starbucks! read more

Came here on Christmas day and everything went smoothly! I will say the parking lot was a bit of a zoo, with lots of honking (Merry Christmas, or something), but we had no problems with our order. Just ordered ahead on the app, went in, and picked it up. Everything was tasty and I appreciated them being open on the holiday. Great service & the barista who ran me out, she was light skinned & had black hair, was the sweetest person ever. Running errands today and she made my day by actually being so friendly and asking about my day. All I ordered was a Tomato & Mozzarella sandwich! Starbucks, you need more baristas like her, believe her name is Tracy, but she's at Starbucks where there's also Wendy's and Firestone on Kingston Pike! She's amazing and I hope to come back whenever I'm the area again! I don't know what about this location is different but I swear they never make my drink right. I always order something directly off the menu, nothing fancy, and it always come out just off... like mud water. IYKYK. If I wanted mud water I'd go to the Duncan nextdoor. Wow! These guys are fast! I know a lot of Starbucks are dealing with supply shortage. I asked what they did and didn't have available and they informed me. Even apologizing a lot. Fortunately this location had several more items available than most of the Starbucks in that area and as well as my local areas back home. I gave them my order and the baristas making the drinks overheard my order and had it ready for me by the time I got done paying. I have NEVER EVER had that fast of service with any other Starbucks before! The area was nice and clean. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean! The service was fast. Thursday I drove out to get breakfast & coffee, and I counted my lucky Starbucks stars that the line wasn't long. The store sign was lit, indicating they were open, but when I got to the speaker there was a paper sign and a worker announced that they weren't opening till 8am. I finished driving through to exit and honked at the worker inside. I wanted to suggest that they turn off the lighted sign, but she just shook her head at me and wouldn't come to the window! When I got home I called and said I wanted to make a suggestion that they turn off the light when they're not open during usual hours and maybe put a "closed" sign out near the street entrance so customers don't pull in. The worker listened then asked me, "Do you feel better now?" I tried to explain that I was offering a suggestion, but he hung up on me. This location has lost my business. read more

I visit this location at least 3 times a week! Sometimes the line can be a little long, but it is worth it! Love seeing Ms. Jamie's bright and cheerful face every time I drop in! Nice location but very busy. Stopped here on a road trip for some iced coffee. The drive through was backed way up so I went inside and placed my order and waited about 10 minutes for an iced coffee which is a while. Clean location that's crammed with students on a laptops. A better Starbucks then the other one close by off the highway in Knoxville. Not a ton of coffee places off this stretch of highway so make sure to stop. read more

Horrible customer service. Went in because my husband wanted to introduce me to the Clover. The guy working the bar in all black (no idea his name) on Mother's Day @ 1815hrs was so rude. 1). He never made eye contact. 2). He didn't speak to us (not even, "Thank you" or the abbreviated, "thanks") 3). He didn't even smile. I understand when the pressure is on (btw, there was no one behind us in line and only one car in the drive-thru), it's hard to keep your composure but he didn't even try. Not when he was making the drinks nor when he was handing the drink over. I don't know much but I know Starbucks has trained its Baristas to have better manners than this. I expect Starbucks to have much higher standard than that found at a McDonalds or a Taco Bell (especially for the money) & unless in a pinch or forced, we won't be returning to this store. This recently became our favorite location because of their newer barista Rowan! (IDK if I spelled her name right! Sweet girl with glasses, brown curls!) She is always super sweet and knows my 3 year old daughter by name which really makes the whole experience for us - not to mention she always makes our drinks perfectly! read more

Went inside to this Starbucks for a quick stop. After a 40 min wait received a watered down icee with chucks of Cookie at the bottom. Barista that took our order said "that's not what you want you want a white mocha frappe" and changed our order after we restated our order. Which was a double chocolate chip frappe with white chocolate instead of Mocha. He made it sound not possible and wouldn't do it. Upset, went to the Starbucks down the street and received the drink we ordered to avoid dealing with this barista. Not the best Starbucks in town. Got the order wrong at the drive thru after repeating it three times. Repeated the order at the window and was told "a yea." Pricing is very high for the region also. Typically my venti-black eye with cream runs $4.25-$4.75 but at this location it was $6.45! It still looks like a captain-D resturant, please get it together Starbucks. read more

As a frequent customer, I am sad to say I will now have to find a new favorite Starbucks in Knoxville. To make a drink incorrectly is forgivable. To leave the new drink nearly a quarter empty is not very nice (especially since I did not swallow the first sip of the drink initially). To bark at the customer and hurl the drink across the room and then stomp off is just plain rude. I did not yell. I did not fuss. I spoke quietly so none of the other customers would know I had been given a drink that tasted like nasty dishwater. I didn't even fuss when "Robert" handed me a drink that was nearly a quarter of the way empty. I asked nicely why it was not even close to full. If you are a Starbucks fan, you have to hit this sweet little Starbucks Shack if you are in town. It is precious. It looks like a little cabin! So fun and the staff was super kind. i order Starbucks almost every day and this is the slowest one ive ever been to. and i go to this location like 2-3 times a week because its close to my house but they mess up my stuff a lot and i dont get them to fix it because i cant afford to wait 15 MORE minutes to get a new drink. i also ALWAYS do mobile orders (at least 10 minutes early) and experience this wait inside or in the DT. read more
