I'm reaching out because I am extremely frustrated and honestly pretty angry about how the holiday bear release was handled here in Knoxville, Tennessee. I waited two months for this drop. I planned for it, woke up early, and made a special trip before work on Thursday expecting the product to actually be available. Instead, here's what I walked into: a parking lot overflowing, a line wrapped around the building, and customers being told the store received two bears total and both were sold directly to employees. Not a single customer had a fair shot. That alone is unacceptable. I then went to the Starbucks inside my local grocery store. They never received any bears at all. On Friday, I tried another Starbucks on my way home, and once again, that store also never received a single bear. At that point, it truly felt like a joke. Knoxville is a major city. The idea that multiple stores didn't receive the item, while others received so few that employees took them before customers even had the chance, is ridiculous and unfair. Whether this was a botched rollout or some kind of "social experiment," it left a lot of customers feeling misled and disrespected. People spent time, gas, and energy chasing a product that wasn't even stocked. There was zero communication, zero transparency, and no accountability for stores where employees bought the items out from under customers. By far the least competent Starbucks I have ever encountered. They had a sign on the door stating that inside service was unavailable, so I could not pick up my previously placed mobile order. Then, upon attempting to go through the drive-through, I found they had made no effort to have the order ready, and had to be reminded what was in the order. Serious question. Does every Starbucks get trained to make drinks a different way? To pay over $5 (for below average coffee- truly it's the convenience of it) why is my order different EVERY time. I order salted caramel cream cold foam. My friend in MD was a regional, so she showed me how it was suppose to be made. THICK creamy salted foam on top with caramel in it. Then a dark colored cold brew underneath. This location has it all wrong. Their "foam" looks like gelled milk. It's unfortunate, I decided to give them one more chance today... but this is a waste of money. Even when I go in to get it remade, same inconsistent drink. I don't know if the guy at the register take my order wrong or the other guy make my coffee wrong. I order 2 different drinks, and they make 2 same drinks. This is a great Starbucks. I come here almost daily. The drinks are always made to perfection and the baristas are wonderful! Sometimes they make me laugh so hard my mocha comes out my nose! I love this place so much that I can seriously overlook the thing about the bathroom key. I actually appreciate the key! It makes me feel so special, like I get a key to the (sh)city! I've been here 5 times in the past two weeks. I come here specifically for their Clover machine, which is the only one on the area. I generally stop by after work, around 9pm each night. Each time I stop by, they tell me their Clover machine is broken. It's not. I recently found out that the staff there is lazy and clean the machine 2 hrs before close and then tell customers it's broken. Secondly, the ALWAYS close early. At least 15 to THIRTY minutes. If your hours online and on the door are listed as 11pm and 12am, that's when I expect the doors to lock. Not 10:30pm and 11:40pm. To top it off, every single staff member here is rude. They need to fire their entire staff and start from scratch. This place SUCKS. read more

We frequented this location a lot but our recent experience has made us go elsewhere! Maybe a month or so ago this happened. Our order came to $15 or so, one of our orders was a large hot chocolate. We get home (about 10 minutes) with 2 kids under the age of 4. && my husband takes his first sip to realize it's just MILK!!!! No hot chocolate. For as much as we pay for the damn thing we heard back to get what we paid for. I go to the drive thru again, tell them what happened. I don't even get an "I'm sorry" she takes my cup makes a new one looks annoyed. By this point I'm pissed. I don't even want it anymore, I ask for a refund when she gets back (she rolls her eyes) manager comes gives refund still doesn't apologize. Hands me the drink. I stopped into the Turkey Creek Starbucks in Knoxville (11038 Parkside Dr.) for a coffee and needed to use the restroom. A note on the door indicated the men's bathroom was now locked, and I was given a key attached to a long plastic spoon by the barista, just like at a shady gas station in the '80s. It was a disgusting, humiliating experience to be treated like that at a place which I previously considered to be a haven of politeness, professionalism, service, and quality. I was informed this decision was made due to some vandalism and was made in concert with the corporate office. If corporate is aware of this, this is truly appaling, and I will not visit any location knowing the head office feels this was a reasonable decision to make. I do not mind paying a premium for good coffee, and more importantly, a nice environment. This is not an elementary school classroom; it is a business. It is your job to insulate me from whatever previous customers might have done, not rub it in my nose as if I am being punished for others' actions. I do not know, and I do not give a damn who vandalized what. Deal with it and carry on, just like any other respectable business. read more

Since our hotel did not offer good coffee or a breakfast we liked, we ventured to this Starbucks on the way to the office for our coffees and breakfast. I tried the bacon egg and gouda sandwich (mainly for the gouda), which came on a ciabatta roll. My sandwich took the longest out of all of ours, and when they yelled it out, they just said bacon egg sandwich, so I had no idea if it was mine. Wish there was more gouda flavor to it, but unfortunately there isn't. Ample space here though, and great if you need to get some work done. read more

This happened 15 min ago... Still really annoyed by my experience at this store. I ordered my non fat pumpkin spice latte extra shot medium. I waited and waited and waited. Now people have gotten their coffees and lattes that ordered after me. I go up the barista (who very rude) to ask if any of these that were setting out were what I ordered since they didn't take my name. Rudely she said no!! And went on with her other coffees she was making. I waited some more... I went back up there and asked again if my order was ready. She rolled her eyes and stated no again. Then finally asked what I ordered again... Very rudely. At this point it had been 15-20 min. So I was fed up!!! I told I did not want it any more if had not even been started. She said I had to get back in line to get my money back. I said no I am leaving. She shrugged shoulders and said ok but you paid for the coffee. So I left with no coffee and in a bad mood. I am a Starbucks daily user...and today i was "out of my zone" in Turkey Creek. I ordered my usual -Grande cappuccino with 2 raw sugars, which is always subject to "over-milking". I'm used to it and this one was too "wet" so I told the Barrista that it was too wet...she gave it to the Barrista who made it and I think he poured half of it out and it was returned to me. Still too wet for a cappuccino of course. I returned it again and it was remade with attitude -like I'm in N.Y.C. or some snobby "really" place. -Only I'm pretty sure "they" would know how to prepare a cappuccino "there". Depends who is working. Slower than average, usually accurate. Better than Cedar Bluff location in all regards.

They have recently replaced most of the seating with very uncomfortable chairs. Use to go all the time, but don't anymore, because it simply is not a comfortable place to be. read more
