And they sell an assortment of candies by weight & have specialty cakes, danishes, cinnamon rolls & donuts that are definitely NOT Starbucks. So this review is for the coffee which I purchased each morning to go with my breakfast sandwich whilst staying at the Seven Clans Hotel. Coffee was hot & fresh.

With just a little more seasoning or spice, the pork tips would have been top-tier. The mac and cheese wasn't my favorite. It appeared to have eggs in it, and the black pepper flavor was a bit stronger than I prefer. I think a touch of cayenne would have given it a better kick. The black-eyed peas were good, although I personally think white beans would have paired better with the meal. The sweet tea was excellent, and the service was one of the highlights. The person at the counter was friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and my food came out quickly. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a local mom-and-pop lunch spot; simple, relaxed, and perfect for a quick bite. Overall, Green's is a solid place to grab lunch if you're already in the area. I'll stop by again when I'm in town, but it's probably not a place I'd take a special exit off the highway just to visit.

My dad decided on the fried shrimp basket that came with fries and a side salad which made me question his choice since I know he loves crab but maybe the blue crabs was a little more work than he wanted to tackle so I ordered him a side of snow crabs which he loves and is much less of a mess, this made him raise his brow but once the food arrived he enjoyed it all not only because it was so delicious but mostly because he and I were sharing a meal that we have enjoyed all my life. The entrance and exit is off East Opelousas Street immediately after exiting the interstate with separate drive-ways for cars and trucks. This was a much needed option on this section of I-10 and eliminates the need to navigate busy intersections and high traffic areas. The business is very clean and the fueling equipment is well maintained. This is definitely a stop I'll return to whether I'm in my personal vehicle or my RV. The fueling prices were competitive and some of the cheapest in the area...
