I had a issue with a drink that was made and didn't notice until I drove away. I contacted the company via email and then chat. I spent a good amount of time with 3 representatives total, repeating myself and going around, just to ultimately be told that I couldn't be helped without a receipt. I did this the day of getting the drink and had provided pictures of the drink's label with the time and date. I called the store directly and Mike was quickly able to help me by simply telling me I could come back in for a new drink at my convenience while apologizing for the hassle. I appreciated his help and understanding in this manner and the new drink was amazing! read more

This continues to be the slowest and most likely unorganized Starbucks in the area. I have now been in line for 10 minutes in the same place. There is no drink on their menu that takes this long to make. Please, for the love of god, find a manager that knows how to organize the store. read more

Damn, damn, damn...I was taken for yet another ride at the worse Starbucks in Irmo. Ordered some oat milk shaken thingy, GRANDE, given a tall that was filled with cinnamon and maybe espresso. Not sure, but they had to take it back and correct it...VENTI BLONDE...no sugar, no creamer, no nothing. Ha! Y'all see the pictures...I asked for a stick, as I am one person ordering TWO hot beverages...this raggedy baristO gave me a lil wooden stir stick...what was I gonna do with that while this hot as coffee was dang near pouring onto my hand. 12$ 1 beverage because I'm so pissed, I can't even drink mine. I feel spoiled. While driving on the interstate we pulled off for a coffee run and my young daughter enjoys the dragon fruit drink. Unaware of the specifics on how she usually gets it, I ordered a standard dragonfruit drink. She flipped out at the clearness and seeing the berries so easily. It was a meltdown. Without hesitation a barista started to make a new one for us with coconut milk. I'm touched by her awareness and proactive approach to customer care. Thanks Starbucks! read more

Update:... the staff do not know basic recipes on the app... my grande tea shows should have two tea bags. I only received 1, the tea is very much water down. My oatmeal. The first time I ever ordered shows 1 fruit 1 nut and 1 brown sugar. I added one ex sugar and all I received was the brown sugars... the second time I ordered 2 of the nuts and 2 fruit and didn't receive any brown sugar.... One of the better Starbucks in the area. The baristas are always super friendly and helpful, they even act genuinely concerned when a drink is made wrong (rather than irritated about it like most other Sbucks). It's in a convenient spot, but that leads to this place's only problem. Space. They inside of the Starbucks is roomy and there's plenty of space to wait while your drink is made, but they aren't exactly equipped to handle the onslaught of people that come off the interstate. The drive through is always a nightmare- wrapped around the building and slow-moving. Don't get me wrong though, they try super hard to keep everything going but when you've got 30+ cars and half of them ordering ahead while they wait in line it's hard to keep up! I have never seen a slow Starbucks before, however this one takes 10 mins to make a drink with no other customers. They are open later than most however it is almost not worth the time with the errors and remakes. This location is great when they have others from the surrounding stores but the core staff is extremely slow and makes mistakes. read more

Let's talk about brand recognition and customer service. I travel very often and have the pleasure of frequenting various coffee shops but prefer the Familiarity of the Starbucks brand. The fairly new location in irmo has to be my worst experiences. There are several stores in the Columbia area but few on the way to Greenville. I ordered my usual simple cold brew 10 minutes before arriving to this store, to arrive and be expected to wait an additional 12-13, which is ridiculous. When I politely asked for a estimated wait time, I was greeted coldly. I quickly canceled my order and waited until I arrived in Greenville to submit a reorder. read more

This Starbucks is OK. Luckily it's in a convenient location or I don't know that I'd visit it often. It seems like most times I visit here, the lines are backed up around the building and I'm waiting forever in line. There are few times that the line moves quickly. And it seems like every time I want a food item of some sort, they're always out of it! No pink cake pops, no protein boxes, etc. The people are nice and friendly though. They've got that going for them. I know this is a newer location, so hopefully things improve. read more

literally the worst coffee experience i've ever had. i woke up today wanting nothing but coffee and some wonderful oatmeal. you know what this starbucks gave me instead? a messed up order! an order so messed up that if it didn't have my name sticker on it i would've thought 'how could this be my order? this isn't what i ordered'. basically i ordered some oatmeal with blueberries, double dried fruit, and no nuts. INSTEAD i recieved no blueberries, one thing of dried fruit, and DOUBLE nuts. like hello?! ALSO my friend ordered a chocolate croissant on mobile. she ordered it 10 minutes before we got to the store and we were told it should be ready in 8 minutes max. well when we arrived in this overly crowded starbucks and already dealt with my oatmeal situation, we find an empty bag waiting at the mobile station with her name on it. SO we continue to wait and wait until 15 minutes go by, we just thought maybe they were a little behind. after that 15 minutes of waiting IN THE STORE i go up to a worker at the counter and politely explain the chocolate croissant issue at hand and she said she would get one warmed up for us. we sit BACK down and wait another 10 minutes until a different worker arrives with our so called chocolate croissant. so we go to the car to eat since we have had FAR too many instances in this very starbucks for it to only be mid-day. AND TO OUR SURPRISE THE CROISSANT WASNT EVEN CHOCOLATE. read more
