The service was quick and efficient, which is exactly what you need when you're trying to catch a flight and don't have time to wait around. Since it's inside the airport (before TSA), the bathrooms and parking are shared with the rest of the airport, so everything is conveniently located. Concourse B at Indy Airport is one of the worst i have ever been to. The employees are completely disengaged from the customers today. I saw them throw away at least 10 pre orders and had multiple cold breadfast sandwiches they had to redo. I did not have time to wait 30 minutes so i left with no breakfast. Ordered on app, said 20 mins, great! Went to get coffee took lid off and it was 2 inches from the top!!! Asked her to top off, she looked as though I drank it, showed her the lid where I obviously never touched my lips and my other drink, iced still full , and assured her I just walked up and asked just top off with coffee it's fine just wanted filled to the top especially since we paid $8 for a coffee . I placed a mobile ahead order. My desired options were out, but I can't fault them seeing as they're in an airport and who knows how busy they've been with all the in and outbound flights. I had a couple of hours to pass before catching my next flight, so I walked through the concourse to check out my food options. I thought about getting a burger at Shake Shack, but eventually got a drink and sandwich at the Starbucks next door. This Starbucks was located right next to Gate B16. I placed my order for a salted caramel cream cold brew and bacon, gouda & egg sandwich on the mobile app. While I waited nearby, one of the employees was very boisterous in trying to get people to try a sample of the new spicy lemonade refreshers. I wasn't interested so I politely refused. Eventually, a swarm of young kids came through the concourse. They were more then willing to try those samples. The GM is the best!!!! She was so funny and even the lady who was getting upset with her had to apologize and laugh because the line was long and she was so animated everyone was seem to lighten up. Recently new storefront that looks nice. They accept orders from the Starbucks app and have a pick up counter. Also offers cold brew but they were sold out during our visit. Looks well staffed during our visit but they needed a reminder about one of our drinks they left sitting in the blender after we had received most of our order. read more

I'm bumping them up a star in this update. I had been getting coffee elsewhere in the airport, but the line was much longer than the Starbucks line which is not typical. Anyway, they were fast, and they made my beverage correctly - an iced vanilla latte with nonfat milk. It looks like you can now order ahead online while say...waiting in an insanely long line to drop a pre-checked bag...and pick up your order at the counter. Now, a whole bunch of beverages were just sitting on the online order counter so it is definitely an honor system! read more

Incredibly busy Starbucks location so I do understand that the employees may get short tempered or cranky. It's unfortunate that customers suffer for their moods. I was ordering my drink and with the noise of the airport announcement behind me and steamer noise behind the counter, I didn't quite catch the cashier's question but thought she asked if I wanted anything else. I said "no thank you," but that wasn't an appropriate answer to her question so she said "you gotta stay with me." I apologized and asked her to repeat her question. I answered and let her know that I didn't leave I was standing there the whole time but just didn't hear her question. Ok. Moved on. Then the barista serves up my drink and I'm certain I heard "green tea latte, extra soy." She was speaking pretty fast. Anyway, after she returned to the counter I asked is she said "extra soy." She seemed annoyed and told me that the size of the drink is what I ordered. I explained I understood that but is the drink extra hot or extra soy? (The flavor isn't the same if it's with extra soy and not what I ordered). She said "I said extra hot, soy." Ah. Ok. Great. Got my drink just as I ordered but please keep your attitudes to yourself. It's unfortunate that the area by the airport gates is noisy. I'm sure customers really do want to make the ordering process efficient and friendly. A little understanding, please. why i hate starbucks? don't get me wrong, great coffee products. but the service. let me tell you. 1st: the cashier: i have cash in my hand. you can clearly see it as light as day. i ordered a large caramel frappuccino. she says they don't serve it. it's on the menu. so i ask what's cold and sweet. she suggests mocha latte. i confirm with her that that would be ok. as i start tonpay for my coffee she says they only take credit cards. smh. i pay anyways. she asks if i want my receipt. i said no it's ok. but she hands it to me anyways. *sigh* 2nd: i remember ordering a mocha flavored latte. but instead i get a chocolate latte. ok so chocolate and mocha are kinda close to each other in flavor but one is sweeter than the other. not complaining about that but not what i ordered. i deal with it. 3rd: i just wanted to get a different cover for my coffee and there's only the cashier and she's busy with other customers. i tinally got someone to help and she just got in. she was the only one that i didn't get frustrated with. probably because she just came in fresh and not annoyed that she has to work. oh well. not a bad experience just bad service. read more

There was a long line but I could hear someone bantering with customers in a cheery upbeat manner. When I got closer I could see it was the person behind the register. She was smiling, greeting every new person, taking their order, asking how to spell their name correctly, and asking where they were from or where they're going as she's ringing them up. None of her chatting slowed her down one bit, as a matter of fact she was really quick and efficient. I was through the line in no time and was left with a "good travels lovebug!" Seriously if I had a customer service position anywhere around here I would try to hire her away. I do not travel often, but I feel like this location is always slammed when I'm at the airport. Even so, the staff this morning was super friendly and working efficiently. All were wearing masks (correctly!) and we're doing their best work keeping the crowd moving. Prices are a premium over typical Starbucks pricing (bc location probably?), But quality consistent with what I know and love. No pickup ordering available at this time. Thank you! read more

Pretty standard for an airport coffee kiosk. However the coffee and egg bites were on point even though there were 27 people in front of me, they averaged about a minute per customer. With only two folks working, that is pretty impressive. They were also very nice to each and every customer, this says a lot for a stressful situation with so many impatient coffee deprived travelers. read more

Let me just say that there were friendly, efficient people working this Starbucks the evening of September 2nd when we were stuck in the Indy Airport for hours due to a delayed flight. I was disappointed that they closed at 7pm, which felt extremely early for an airport location, but the overall experience was a very good one. Our order was received exactly as requested and even came with a smile from each of the gentlemen working the stand. Pick a city, any city, and you'll likely find a refurbished Pizza Hut or Denny's, complete with a cheesemonger, French patisserie, and at least one "elevated street food concept." Indiana residents need look no further than Starbucks, which claims to be the largest such food hall in the Midwest. In addition to the usual food hall suspects, it's home to the second location for local coffee company Zaxbys. True to its name, the staff treated me as both a "Star" while also taking my "Bucks". While the buns to my biscuit were toasty, the eggs used to comprise the meat of my sandwich were mediocre at best. The quality of the cheese was on par with a Kraft single.
