I go here a lot. I always get my coffee and they do it right. People are nice and it's a nice escape from work and a good treat.

Went in yesterday to ask if they could make a different kind of drink. Just curious and decided to ask. The employee "Brianna" hesitated and was obviously annoyed. So I said "if not that's okay. ill get something else." and she had my phone to look what the drink had. And said "I am not annoyed. its just A LOT to type down." after that, I order two regular drinks and she kept sighing about it. I just don't see why she got so bothered. Other customers behind me kept saying "well they shouldn't make something and expect others to NOT order it." Once I sat down, they kept staring and talking amongst themselves. When I got my drink, it was water. It sucked. I wasn't going to go back and say something anymore. Its not worth it. This place honestly Changed. I don't like it anymore. read more

Every order takes at least 10-15 min or more. On simple coffee orders, the coffee cup rarely full. I have traveled all over the U.S. and even been to Starbucks overseas and this is by far the worst and slowest one of all times. I only come here when I'm desperate. read more

HORRIBLE customer service! Not only was I almost hit while in line (a few cars decided to start a line in the middle of the nearby parking lot for chase banks/other shopping centers and sped up to circumnavigate all cars parked in the actual line), but when I relayed the lack of signage to the manger, Rick (I believe that's what his name was) he was extremely rude and unconcerned! He basically told me there wasn't anything he could do and just said I should call the cops. He even said point blank that it wasn't Starbucks' problem. My compliant, of course was that there was lack of signage which would have prevented the potential accident in the first place! As he mentioned, there is a small sign and painting on the ground, but my issue that this is clearly not enough. His lack of concern for an obvious security issue is unacceptable. Aside from this the service here typically is very subpar. I go to quite a few locations (Gold member) and this is one of the poorest. Lack of upkeep in store, lack of customer service, and once or twice I've even received spoiled milk. Every once in a while though, I get a stellar barista and that, and the proximity to my house, keeps me going back. However, after this current experience I am not sure. I really have tried to like this location, but this location needs some serious help and attention. They are the slowest, rudest and dirtiest Starbucks I've been too. I think starbucks overall are great. Here, when I came it it was nice and clean. All were organized and neat. The person who was taking my order was busy and took few moments to get my order, but she was smiling and made little conversation, plus offered bag and put all my food item there. I had so many free starbucks that was expiring and I used three and did not have to pay for all three items and she was nice about me using all this many rewards at once. Coffee came out at reasonable time and also tasted great. Everyone was doing something constantly and working hard. They were either pouring ice, filling up syrups, organizing, mopping, etc. Everyone was keeping themselves busy which I really liked. Also, lots of sitting area inside and also several outside. Coffee tasted great too. I ordered chestnut praline latte with only half syrup and was perfect, not too sweet not to bland. Also, the salad is amazing!!! Everyone should try this!! read more

There have been several occasions where I have visited this Starbucks in the morning, and each time just keeps getting worse. The past 2 visits alone I have waited literally 30 mins in the drive through line just to get a cup of coffee! I don't know if they are training their new employees during the morning rush, but knowing that the morning is the busiest time of the day, you'd think they would prepare better for this and have more than just a "sorry for the wait" for you when you finally get to the window. The staff is really cool....but they move to damn slow. They are easily side tracked, and the window is always long. If you order on the app thinking it's faster, wrong. It's about the same 8-15min wait as the window and going inside. I've been waiting in the window line for 20min. Why I haven't left yet? I can't jump the curb. read more

I have been a customer of this particular location since they opened here. In the beginning personnel were awesome. So much so I had a saying "This is My store, and these are my Peeps!" Because I was so regular the Veteran Baristas would Greet me like family as I walked in the door, and ask if I were there for my usual. They would get right on it as they would also inform me of new promotions! Because they were so customer oriented and personable I would not only get my usual, but purchase whatever new product they were promoting! I would give them my opinion on my next visit! I especially miss the friendly competition. Their Store Manager would give his Associates a competition: who could promote whatever product the most! It was great fun to watch, as a result I too would join in the fun and usually purchased whatever I went to this store for, and then more of what was being promoted. The Store Manager was such a good one, he received a promotion. And, he deserved it. I do not know how many managers this location has had since then. This particular store has not been the top notch quality customer oriented store it was in the beginning. In fact, I quit frequenting this establishment for nearly a year. In 2013 - 2015, one particular associate was always talking, loud, obnoxious, and most of the time with their back turned away from the customer who was standing waiting for the soliloquy to end in order to get their order in. Let alone to be acknowledged. 2016 to date has seen a huge turn over of very good Associates and some not good at all Associates. I think this Store is beginning to come up in standards in quality of service. At least it shows promise. That is why I give this Store three stars. Quality of food products and choices of variety are good. I recently visited a store in a different area and their selections of quick package products were more diverse and superior. Don't go here unless you have about 30-45 minutes to kill waiting in line. They have 8 visible people working at one time and still can't get you a coffee or tea quickly. BTW, move your drive thru!!! being this is the only one in east Houston it will do that's why i give it 2 stars but it deserves 1. This place never gets the drinks right. Either the temp is too cold on hot drinks or too hot on cold drinks Even worse last week i got my usual and the whipped cream was spoiled and the milk was as well with curdles in it. Sickening for sure, i vomited from it sent my complaint to corporate and no reply. I tried it again today, they gave me a luke warm drink as if the steamed milk has been sitting for over 30mins. It tasted disgusting. This place only makes business because it is the only location within a 15-20mile radius. I went to this Starbuck on Saturday and the service was awful. The wait time was long, the staff didn't smile nor did they greet anyone walking through the door. I understand Starbucks are all busy, but I live in the Memorial area and ours is busy day in and day out and never have I had to wait a long period of time for something I ordered which was only a Carmel Macchiatio. When the young lady finished making it she practically shoved it in my hands. She was probably pissed because I was talking to another customer saying how long it was taking and that I was never coming back to that location. I could care less about how she felt because it was the truth, but what I did care about was the customer services I received because I was spending my hard earned money. The manager needs to address this issue quickly as I wasn't the only customer complaining. read more

This is the worse SB I have been to. Their bathrooms aren't clean, they don't have many table inside. It is always too full when I go in. I think they should take out those fluffy chairs and put more table and plugs. It is obvious a lot of students go there. I would appreciate not having to worry about not having a place to sit when I want to go there since there aren't any other SB nearby. read more

Try to find the positive in every negative situation people say. Unfortunately, those people have not made it to this Starbucks. I've been here a lots since we moved to the area and every time I come in things are worse than the last. The place is always a mess, the drive through is the slowest Starbucks drive thru I have ever been too, and the baristas are always less than friendly. Came in about a week ago, around 6pm. The baked good area was cleaned out. I asked if they ran out and the barista told me that they were just cleaning up and were going to put them back in a minute, not true. "Since we cleaned out this crap early we may close quicker tonight" another barista said. I can complain about this place but I will still keep coming here as it is the closest Starbucks to where I live. If you are an avid Starbucks go-er, this location will definitely not meet your standards. read more

I waited at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me and there were 2 people at bar and 2 at the drive thru while the register person was in the bathroom. A simple "someone will be right with you" would have been the appropriate thing if they were all busy. Since that one experience I've tried a few more times but it's always a bad experience. I had a bad experience at this location. I love going to Starbucks because the coffee and drinks are good but the customer service is always top notch. However, this visit the young lady Carmen in the drive thru was very rude. My Frappuccino had to be remade 3 times. Each time she came to the window and I told her that it was wrong she had an attitude saying that she didn't make it she just runs the register as though I should take the drink that was not made how I wanted it and go. I went between 7:20-7:30pm and the cashier that helped me was exceptionally sweet (I didn't see what his name was because I was too touched with how sweet he was and I was trying to keep myself from crying... I frequent this Starbucks due to the convenient location: it's near my home, my dry cleaner, and my car wash. The staff is friendly, but the store always looks like a mess. A more frequent sweep / vac and mop are needed, especially around the sugar & milk station. It should not look like the aftermath of a sugar packet & nutmeg war zone at 7:45 AM on an average Wednesday! Additionally, it often takes too long for orders to be fulfilled, though I have noticed a slight efficiency improvement in the last week or so. read more

Every time I have visited this Starbucks, I always had to wait a ridiculously long amount of time for my drink. Going through the drive thru guarantees you'll get out sooner than going inside. Today, however, I was pleasantly surprised!!!! The kindness of the employees blew me away. That's the first time I've had a memorable and great experience with the cashier and baristas at this location. They were new faces, so I'm guessing that they hired a bunch of new employees who can manage better customer relations. Some other details: restrooms are always nasty. Location is always packed with people meeting, studying, or mingling. I'll definitely come back just because of the helpful and overall super nice staff which contributed to my great experience there today. read more
