The Woodway Starbucks has the best staff, everyone is always in a good mood and welcoming!

This is honestly the nicest and friendliest Starbucks I've been to. The staffs always greet you with a smile and hello. Positive vibe makes it a great way to start the day. Mornings are usually packed, but drinks come out quickly. Customers here are also super friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. There is no drive through, but plenty of parking space. Definitely a great spot to grab your coffee and enjoy some good energy. read more

This Starbucks has limited seating, lacks a drivethru & parking can be annoying (the location shares parking with a strip mall), but let me tell you why this Starbucks is the real deal. This location has the most AMAZING team members & customer service ever. I stopped by on Christmas last year in a Grinch mood. The staff was incredibly uplifting. I even ended up taking a coffee shot with team members before leaving. I left feeling 100% better than when I came in- and it had nothing to do with the coffee. It's sucks to work on Christmas, but the team uses it as an opportunity to have some fun with their guests. Visiting again last week, I was reminded of the human & fur baby regulars (that some members know by name) & again, the uplifting energy of the team- seriously, EQ, patience & compassion on 100. I don't know who manages this shop but someone should give them a metal. Incase anyone needs a little holiday cheer, I'd recommend choosing this location over the 4 other locations in the area. read more

Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Especially when the customer is right. How is it that we are passively aggressively attacked when we order a drink and it's not there when we get there? I will never go back to this Starbucks location. This is the last straw. Rude little people. Never again. Oh my how you have gone downhill. I didn't even actually say anything. I just asked if they had my drink that I ordered. And I was told not only did they not have my drink, but that my "name didn't even pop up on the computer the entire morning." Hey dumb dumbs, why don't you do a little research before you throw down I have been going to the Starbucks for eight years. Not a problem, I went out to my car got my phone (this is the research I'm talking about Idiots. Before you make a statement like that. Make sure you know what you're talking about ) brought it in and showed it to them just so that they could see that I had placed an order. Again, I did not say a word. I was attacked by every single member of the staff before I walked out the door. Attacked because these young people have not learned the words. "I'm so sorry. Let us get your drink for you right away." Or "oops, my bad" That's it. No more words. Idiots you screwed up. I honestly would've left except that I just paid six dollars for some dirty water. Never again. Grow up teach your little staffers manners teach them to be contrite and teach them to be humble. End of story. This is not my favorite Starbucks location. It may be one of the better ones and just not a good fit for me. The staff seemed to have less turnover than some other locations with a good number of employees that seemed like they had been there a while. They were on a first name basis with a lot of the customers (beyond calling out their names, I know they get everyone's names)... but it made me feel a little weird like they weren't as friendly to me and I don't know why because I was happy and smiling. Then, both times I've been here my drink has gotten goofed in someway ... which is weird because they seem like more long term employees at this location. I probably won't be back. Also because parking is super tight there and there is no drive through so it's also just not as convenient for me. In my opinion this is one of the best Starbucks I been to, even though their parking is not ideal and they don't have a drive thru. The drinks taste the best! great customer service I've been going there for almost a year now as it's near my place of work. They are busy in the mornings but they work fast. And just today they made me feel super special. I came in asking a lot of questions about how to make a green tea latte with less carbs and they were fantastic they invented a keto friendly matcha latte for me, by the way tasted amazing, and they even wrote the recipe so I can re-order at other stores I mean they were just amazing!!! read more

Finally had the opportunity to patron a Starbucks in my new neighborhood. The baristas were friendly and the store was clean. I was happy to see all the holiday drinks and cups released making the experience festive. I crowd came in after me but none of us waited long to receive our orders. The inside of this location is small so my only complaint is that there may not be room to sit if you go during peak hours (which I'm not sure when that would be at this location). read more

Located in the same strip mall as one of my favorite bbq spots, the parking situation here is so poor you might as well try and get as much done as possible while you're here. Understanding the parking has nothing to do with the service or product it does add to the frustration when the service is sub-par as it was tonight. Decent Starbucks location. I often times choose this one because it's on my way to work and it's fairly easy in the mornings. I came by one afternoon and the parking lot was packed. I circled twice and ended up leaving. A lot of the parking spaces in the lot are reserved for specific stores, which is a pain. As far as orders goes, my orders have always been correct. I typically find myself waiting sometimes for my mobile order, but a few times, it's ready once I get there. read more

Parking kind of sucks here though but that's mostly because of the Mexican restaurant next door which puts cones in all their own spots for the valet so their customers who don't want valet (and why would they? I would give this place 5 stars except for the parking situation. The staff is literally THE BEST and are always happy and friendly. And they make my drinks right. If you get here early enough in the morning the parking is fine. Or just ignore the parking reservations for the other stores and park anywhere because you'll be in-and-out in like 5 minutes (mobile order pickup). I love how neighbors are always outside with their pups chatting. I feel like this is a neighborhood landmark- just wish it didn't have to share a parking lot with the strip mall. read more

I Uber some coffee from this Starbucks because I was very sleepy at work around 6:30 am it got here at 7:15 when it was supposed to get here around 7:42, so props to the Uber guy. My order was a tall cup of hot coffee with 3 shots that I paid extra for. I ended up paying a little over 20 dollars for a stupid cup of coffee but only because I was super sleepy. When my order gets here I'm so exited because it was package so neatly with my name with hearts on it lol but when I open my coffee to add sugar I noticed it was like almost half empty I was so upset because I paid a dumb price for coffee that was not even worth it in the end. It was still delicious though and maybe it's just a couple of sips missing but I feel like I paid a decent amount for it so the least they can do is send it right. Please do better y'all need to do better and check that cups are full before you send them off to people. read more

As other reviews have mentioned, this place has its quirks like the shortage of parking plus it can be as cold a deep freeze in there. If you're staying to get work done like I often am, bring a sweater. But otherwise, this is an awesome location of Starbucks! It's sort of hidden from those who don't know it's there or accidentally stumble across it, which makes for a chill environment and steady flow of patrons. Even when there's a line in the mornings, they do a great job of slowing down to take care of you and not acting swamped with orders. They remember my name, they always get my drink perfect, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a drink. Bathrooms are clean, love seats are comfy, and the light coming in through the window is the perfect amount. There's a few SB around town that I wouldn't go back to because of slow or rude service, gross bathrooms, or crowds. This location is gold and it makes me sad to know my new house is nowhere near it. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I stopped by there today Nov 8th at around 6:50 right after my evening run to get a quick drink. The place was fairly empty,there was only one customer in front of me. The guy was not ordering anything, he was just non stop talking to the cashier, I politely waited for their conversation to be over and to my surprise after waiting several and I mean several minutes they did not stop. The barista, a blonde young girl didn't even acknowledge me or pause to take my order. There were only two people working the blonde and a brunette. Neither opted to help. But the one at the register was the blonde. After a long wait I decided not to waste my energy addressing the issue directly with them and file a complaint instead. why, because I am a business owner myself and I would definitely want to know if my employees are costing me business. I can not believe that Starbucks dares to ask for tips for their baristas especially with this kind of employee behavior. read more

This place is dated and they don't know how to blend a Frappuccino. If I wanted a semi cold Frappuccino I'd make it myself. That's why I pay $6 for a well made Frappuccino, yet, every single time (I've been in this store at least 10 times this summer) my drink is always melting. Last time I complained, the guy said " well you know it's hot out here" idi#%^.... I had not even step outside and your drink was melting. It was all watery. Whatever. Best customer service EVER! Yes Ever!! The employees at this location love their customers and it shows. I came in for a breakfast sandwich which they ran out of - they substituted with another sandwich which rocked (YUM)! And they gave me a cookie - made me feel very special. Still working near this one, still going. Now I just do my order through the app so there's no need for anyone to know me or even speak - which is what usually happens. The parking lot situation is no better so I try to go on 'off' hours after lunch to increase my chance of getting a spot without a game of 'car chicken'. Everything is consistent though - whatever I ask for in the app order, I get exactly the way I expect, so it's gained a star for at least giving me the kick I need to keep from killing co-workers in the afternoon - and that is best for everybody :-) read more

The parking lot is a hot mess! Most of the spaces are reserved for specific stores and the restaurant takes about 12 for valet. Plus the fancier cars decide to double park, which is so awesome (sarcasm!). Ok so I totally ordered a 'mocha' instead of a 'latte'. Proof that I needed to reboot my system with coffee! The guy who prepared my drink gave me the "whoopsies" for free and made the drink I meant to order. Super sweet, he was so kind, and didn't make me feel bad for misspeaking. The employee that took my order actually got snooty and said something to the fact that I said mocha and should deal with what was made. The guy reprimanded her and said, "we make our customers happy so if she said the wrong word, we fix it... It's not a big deal". The snooty cashier also gave me attitude for ordering a flan flavored drink in the first place. She asked another girl "do we even make that?!". PS don't ever order a caramel flan mocha... Is the second Starbucks that I've been to in the last two days that I can't even get inside in order to wash my hands before I'm allowed to order something to eat or buy something to drink. Not only are we not even allowed to use their dining areas but the restrooms either what is wrong with Starbucks? I guess I'm never going to use another Starbucks again because apparently they have no regard for Customer Service whatsoever during the pandemic. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever why they cannot open their lobbies for customers and their restaurants no excuses this is a poor judgment call on management and a poor judgment call on corporate so guess what you've lost my business forever now because I've never even attempt driving to any Starbucks again nor will I ever encourage anyone I know to go to any Starbucks again because I'm not gonna waste my time and my gas going and being turned away read more

Unequivocally the worst Starbucks on the west side of Houston. In the same vein as previous posters, the piss poor attitude permeates it way all the way down into the end product. Went without passing judgement 5 times. 3 out of 5 times, drink was made wrong. When they ask if you'd like your bagel toasted, they, for whatever reason, will not cut the bagel. When I asked them to on a subsequent trip, I definitely caught an attitude. Poor mgmt: spills unattended on the floor, six employees behind the counter, only a couple actually "working" while the rest socialize Parking is atrocious. I usually stop by this Starbucks later in the evening when I need to get studying done. It's definitely not the rush period, and I have not caught much attitude from the staff. In fact, there are a few that recognize my face, and are quite kind. It's on the smaller size, and there are only a few tables in the joint the satisfy my studying needs. (Yes, I like to spread my stuff all over the table.) Tough it's quite quieter than the Starbucks on San Felipe & Voss, in the Kroger lot. Parking sucks. I volunteered to do a coffee run for my office to get us pumped up for Friday. I ordered 3 drinks. I don't write bad reviews for Starbucks (or chain restaurants in general) because I understand that coffee shops get packed and things understandably go wrong but SERIOUSLY? This Starbucks was ridiculous. My order of 3 drinks included my own order of a grande skinny caramel macchiato. The biggest mistake I made was not tasting my drink there. I wanted to get back to the office so I took my drinks and left. As soon as I tasted my drink, I realized immediately that it was not a caramel macchiato. It tasted like hot chocolate, foamed like hot chocolate, and was as dark brown like hot chocolate. I drove back to get my drink order corrected. I explained (as nicely as I could) to the associate at the register that I believed the drink order was wrong and that it tasted nothing like a caramel macchiato. I didn't ask for anything to compensate for the inconvenience. I simply justed wanted my coffee!! The man at the register said that they would remake it. After waiting 5 minutes, the barista had my drink ready. As soon as I tasted the corrected drink, I gave up. All I could taste was milk and foam. I'm never coming back to this Starbucks again. I'd rather drive the extra 5 minutes to go somewhere else to find baristas that actually know what they're doing. read more
