The lady running the cash register was more focused on drink making then taking our order which mind you, is fair since it seemed like she was the only one making drinks too. However, she went so slow to make other drinks since she started to chat up a regular. Again, not the worst thing but you should still move a little quicker for a morning coffee shop. When we placed our order, we had to wait awhile since the chatting continued and honestly, I had no idea why it would take so long to pull one or two shots of espresso and froth milk but ten plus minutes later and damn. The latte was utter undrinkable. The milk tasted off and it was barely frothed. It had the flavor of a wet dishcloth that sat around for too long. The espresso had no flavor either and it was just hot water. The nitro cold brew tasted a bit better but honestly, I've had better on tap. I give it a two stars because the decor was cute. I heard a dog bark around where the food items were which was off putting to me so I refrained from ordering food so I cannot comment on that. I mean unless you're a local, you probably can skip out of this place if you want a decent drink.

SO good! Lots of add-in flavor and milk options along with baked goods (peach shortbread was perfect with my coffee). Nice bright atmosphere, very friendly people. My only note is that it could use a little simplifying or organizing with the antique/for sale items and could benefit from highlighting the food and loose tea better. I enjoyed perusing and will be back!

My boyfriend ordered a plain bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagel itself is so soft, and cream cheese was very flavorful. I ordered a turkey, cheese apple sandwich on a sesame bagel. All of the flavors blended so good together, it was a sweet/savory explosion. We also got an iced latte with cookie butter syrup and it was so delicious. Mind you, I don't even really like or drink coffee. I forgot to take a picture of the food bc we just started munching haha. Service was friendly, quick, and we loved the easy going ambiance this place has. Bathrooms were also very clean, I like how they also have feminine supplies available. Safe to say, 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be coming back here whenever we're in Elmira again!

I should've left. I specifically asked if the turkey in the Rueben-esque Turkey panini was deli slices or more like breast Thanksgiving style. They said it wasn't slices. When it came out - it was like sliced deli meat from Wegman's. Not what I wanted. The panini itself was huge and warm and fresh enough. But, I asked three times for clarification on the turkey and they acted put out but still told me wrong, so I wasn't happy and felt misled. My friend got a Chef Salad what was huge and fresh. It looked delicious. I also got an iced brewed tea and when I went up for a refill, again, death stare like I had done something wrong by asking. Not even remotely impressed with service or attitudes here. Menu looked good but this small street has tons and tons of places to eat with much kinder and friendlier staff.
