Loaded raspberry jelly filled
Lisa S.

Little local donut shop that blows other donut shops right out of the water! Locally owned and operated, they make EVERYTHING in-house! They actually fill their donuts and I mean FULL! If you like white cream, get their early cuz they run out...but they're my favorite! They also make great bagels, best in the Elmira area. If you buy a coffee, you get a donut free. Not the best coffee ever, though, or they'd get 5 stars!!

Well let's just say I had to have a Sunday treat! Right one is chocolate raspberry and the left I think is vanilla.

Great food far from NYC. Legit bagels and kind staff. I was new to the spot and surprised by the line. The locals know!

This cafe has really gone downhill. I remember how cute the old location was, and this shop a hole…read morein the wall. The pressed sandwiches we got were pretty slim on fillings and quite soggy. We went during lunch on a Monday but they were out of tons of menu items, having not restocked from the weekend yet. We tried to order one sandwich on gluten free bread and one on ciabatta. They were out of ciabatta so they offered sourdough instead. Then the food comes, and it turns out they didn't have sourdough either. So instead of telling me what they do have and letting me choose, they just made it on rye bread, and offered to remake it before even setting it down. I don't like rye so I did ask for a remake, and I don't understand why they didn't just ask in the first place. Unfortunately, they also made the "gluten free" sandwich on rye bread which was discovered after my gluten-intolerant mom had eaten a bite. The whole experience was a confusing mess. They refunded our sandwiches and we ate somewhere else. My mom got a raspberry smoothie which she said was good and I got an iced coffee which was not good, I left that behind too. It's never a good sign when you somewhere for lunch and coffee and end up needing to go somewhere else for lunch and coffee after! I would maybe come back to try a smoothie here but I would get it to-go and skip all the food. A 1 star experience but adding 1 star because my mom really liked the smoothie, and the staff were accommodating by offering remakes and refunds, remaining polite even though none of us were having a good time

So we came here on a Friday night about 6 o'clock and they were supposed to be an open mic…read morehappening which we were excited about because we love performing an open mic. Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed. At the moment there couldn't have been more than eight people in the whole place inside and out on the deck total. We were handed menus that had no prices on them. I ordered the buddah bowl with chicken strips and my husband got a quesadilla with steak. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. In my opinion overpriced for what we got. We also bussed our own table.

The last two were ciders, so he took a pass and just left it at 28...or SEVEN BEER FLIGHTS!!!) We also had the Mexican Street Corn dip and then couldn't leave without trying the GIANT pretzel (could probably feed four!!) Our hosts and wait staff were as nice as could be. It was a truly lovely way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon! Can't wait to go back.
