What a thoughtful little coffee truck!…read more Nestled in between the lush greenery of Bayport Flower House lies Great South Bay Coffee. The exterior is decked out in menus and informative readings on coffee. The interior, honestly, looks super cozy for a coffee truck. Think wood and (faux!) brick lining. The barista was calm, and allowed me sample some of the syrups because there is quite a selection! All homemade, all actually taste like advertised. I ended up walking away with a Brown Butter Cardamom Latte and a Pint O'Beans for $16, and in this economy, that is not bad at all! The beans even came with its own roasting profile, which was such a boss move. The latte itself, delightful. Plenty of buttery sweet cardamom with a floral note at the end. I kind of don't want to recommend this place because I enjoy not having to wait in long lines. but, I definitely recommend this diamond in the rough!

Went for Mother's Day and we had to get the high tower which was good, I think it was priced high for what it was. Shrimp sandwich was my favorite. Why I'm not rating it higher: I made the reservation 2 weeks before Mother's Day, the only thing available was a 10:45am so I took it. They called me two days before to confirm and said they had a 1:30 available, I started asking questions about the food more being suited toward lunch or breakfast, a bit snippy they put me on hold, I txt my wife quick and she said take the 1:30, the woman gets back on the phone and says sorry someone on the other line just took the 1:30... I said.... What! I was offered it and didn't give you an answer yet. She didn't care and was very dismissive. Won't be returning,

However they did it, the space feels roomier with more seating options. The coffee is very good, they have a very diverse coffee menu including espresso drinks, regular and cold brew options. They offer a variety of fresh baked goods, wraps and breakfast sandwiches. Get there early for the breakfast sandwiches, as the need to be reheated in microwave later in the day. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but the lines can be long as the espresso machines are manual, producing a superior product in comparison to the national chain, but it can take some time when people are ordering Carmel Latte's and other specialized drinks in front of you. Sayville is lucky to have two independent coffee shops. I always prefer locally owned and managed. Give them a try, even if line appears long they manage to move people through fairly quickly.

The prices for the coffees are comparable to other corporate coffee companies but it's still not for me. Im bummed because I really wanted to love this place.

Visit Date: September 30, 2025…read more So just a heads up. This coffee shop is inside the Bayport-Bluepoint Public Library. So if you are looking for it and you pull up to the library like I did yesterday you're in the right place. I have a mission to run in a bunch of towns on LI that are on a list I made off a website. I only have Suffolk county libraries left so yesterday I decided to run in Blue Point and make this coffee shop my parking place for the run. I pulled up and saw it was in the library, I love libraries, I'm a librarian so I was thrilled from the start. So I took my run and went to the cafe inside the library after. I got chocolate mousse and a bag of coffee. The chocolate mousse was so good, there was a bit of cake inside, it was so delicous a good amount of chocolate. I tried the coffee this morning and it's great, smooth, makes a great cup of hot coffee and iced coffee. I think the guy who helped me also has a location in Bohemia on Lakeland Ave, I may have been there but I'm not sure. Visit this coffee shop inside the library you will have NO REGRETS!

The people in the shop were very friendly also - I appreciated the kind service. I'm currently eating leftovers now. Highly recommend!

I've had multiple experiences where I was completely ignored, with no eye contact or basic acknowledgment. I would understand if the location were extremely busy, but there have been times when the store was practically empty. There's also an employee who regularly draws on customers' cups, which I've personally found disrespectful and offensive. A little kindness and basic customer service go a long way. It really brings people down when they're simply trying to be polite and are treated like they're an inconvenience. Management seriously needs to address how customers are being treated.

This is my local Dunkin Donuts, and I was so excited when one opened so close to my house! I love Dunkin Donuts in general, so figured this was a great addition to the area. However, after about more than a year, I have to say I've been consistently disappointed by this place. They are usually pretty friendly, though some have a tough time with English, but the sandwiches and drinks are always 'meh.' It's so consistently poor that I literally take guests to another Dunkin Donuts to avoid a bad breakfast experience. The sandwiches are usually poorly put together and greasy (not in a good way). The coffees are usually just alright, and while I think the ice cream flavored coffees are probably pretty good, the couple I got at this location tasted almost like.....normal coffee. To be fair, their donuts are good....but I think, how can you mess up donuts? I really don't even consider it in my ratings, because it's assumed. But it's at the point where if something is bad at this Dunkin Donuts, I usually take it with a grain of salt, and assume I'll have to try another Dunkin because this place is the issue. I probably will try it from time to time to see how things have changed. A bad experience isn't that really BAD, and it's cheap enough to say eh, whatever.

The dining room although it looks small, it seats about 60 people. It is a mix of booth type seating, chairs, and high top stools. The high top area even has ports for charging which is nice. The parking lot is huge so parking is not an issue no matter how busy. One suggestion, having an auto open on the bathroom for patrons who may need it or for those of us who don't want to touch the door handle after washing our hands. It was a great experience and I wish them the best of luck!
