Right, so this location appears to have gone through some rough patches as they have a pretty low score at the time of this writing. Now, that being said, my visit was very pleasant. I'll elaborate. I stopped by on a Saturday morning and had a very typical Starbucks experience. And to be clear, that's a good thing. For starters, there was plenty of parking. The store was clean. I was able to order and receive my beverage in an acceptable amount of time. My beverage tasted great. And I enjoyed the atmosphere of the store while I read. I usually prefer to sit and relax in the store but for those of you on the go, there is a drive-thru. When all is said and done, this was the experience I was expecting and received. I feel like I got what I paid for and would return. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

This Starbucks needs some major work! The facility was very dirty, with flies and gnats in the food case. The staff is more worried about talking to each other than preparing drinks. At one point I was wondering if the drinks would magically appear from the back because no one was doing anything in the front besides conversing. My husband said his caramel macchiato was disgusting but he wasn't about to wait another 20 minutes for them to prepare a new one. Very disappointing!!!! read more

You all advertise opening at 5 AM, but we just came through the drive-thru at 5:38 AM after dropping a friend off at the airport, and were told you wouldn't be open for another hour. We completely understand that things happen, but it was frustrating to show up expecting to grab something and be told otherwise -- especially with no explanation. It's just inconvenient when people rely on your posted hours, especially this early when we were really hoping to refuel. read more

Sorry not enough staff is not an excuse. Where is the manager? When people don't come to work the management should be there. That's why they are management. We were told we would have to wait 30 minutes for an order placed inside and to go to the drive thru for a shorter wait. It is a Sunday at 10:45 am. The drive thru was out into the street, this the reason we went inside...big mistake. Restrooms not clean and out of supplies, another management issue. read more

Typical Starbucks experience with fast service and friendly employees. Save time by ordering online and picking up your order in the drive thru. Yes you still have to wait on the cars in front of you. This location had quick and efficient service so we didn't wait long. The employees were enthusiastic and friendly. They made our order correctly and checked to see if we needed anything else. They gave us a straw and we were on our way. Although I did not get one at this visit, I enjoy the Starbucks matcha lattes. read more

Starbucks - a hand holding a cup of iced coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

This is perhaps the best managed and staff I have ever visited and I visit this one often. Yes, the coffee and snacks are consistently good, but the person here go beyond what I see at other coffee shops. They prompt in greeting customers and filling orders. It is not uncommon to hear the entire staff singing along to the house music. Check it out and leave a generous tip. read more

I love Starbucks and been to many, the last two times I've came to this location there was excessive waiting. The drive through took over 10min for one drink from the point of order until receiving drink, and the most recent time I went inside to order and found myself waiting 15 minutes despite it not being very busy. I understand if an off day happens here and there but this is multiple times at this point. Gotta have better speed and customer service, at least apologize if the wait is long. read more

This Starbucks location was so slow. Luckily my friend and I were able to back out of the drive-thru line so she could run inside. It was your standard Starbucks experience minus the quick service. read more

It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneous dictated by my cravings at any given moment. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. I feel all these criterions are controllable by the corporation, the franchise owner or store manager. Service - 5 Stars Quality - 4 Stars Wait Time - 3 Stars Cleanliness - 5 Stars Accessibility - 4 Stars Rating 4.2 read more

I used to love this Starbucks, but my husband and I come here regularly and are now consistently getting cups covered in caramel and fingerprints and sometimes colors of things that aren't even in our drinks. Just wish they could take the time to switch the cup or wipe it off, if it is this gross. $7 coffee shouldn't be disgusting on the outside. Hopefully they can improve and this can continue to be our go to Starbucks. I let it go the last 9 times it has happened, had to review this time. read more

So tired of picking up my cup and putting my hand in caramel. We just had a pandemic, please wash your hands.

Super friendly every time I've been which is why I can't give it one star but that only goes so far when every time I've been here I've had a bad experience because they don't make the drinks right. I'd rather just go to the one in ingles. read more

I'm driving long hours today. Stopped at this Starbucks for coffee at 6:30 on a Saturday. They closed at 5:00PM. WTF??? I won't be stopping at this location ever again. This was the second time I've stopped here during daylight hours and it was closed! read more

Third year dropping Kate off at camp in Hendersonville, North Carolina, I was starting to get used to the supermarket style Starbucks that many locals had become accustomed. Not the case anymore with a brand new stand alone coffee shop. A brand new store when first visited, they were still working out the kinks. Advised by a friendly barista that I would get a dime off for bringing my own coffee cup, I thought against it as she probably needed the job and Starbucks policy expressly prohibited filling coffee cups my size. Friendly staff and convenient to the highway. I will be sure to visit next time I visit Hendersonville. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr. Vero Beach, Florida read more

Employees in pajamas and not ready for for work at 7am. No one at the register. No one making eye contact or speaking when the customer enters. The coffee was cold and I was told to go throw it away in the bathroom. Employees lookEd and acted as if they just rolled out of bed. Very poor customer service. At least the fresh coffee was acceptable. read more

Some one else made a review 3 hours ago which I agree with they messed up my family's order and it took a long time then usual

This is the only free-standing Starbucks here. Great seating, lots of outlets for charging, excellent customer service and great baristas

WiFi wasn't working. Asked the staff to reboot the router. They said, "Yeah, it hasn't been working for like two months and rebooting isn't going to work." Very poor response; they could have at least restarted the damn thing to see if it might help. Coffee was one star, WiFi and customer service zero stars. read more

Came in with my girlfriend and she was being a total b***h to me prior. Forgot my wallet and money at home and only had $10 on me. She ordered her pumpkin spice whatever and I was going to buy a pressed kale drink from the fridge. Realized I didn't have enough for her drink and mine so I put mine back and ¡BRIAN! The barista/cashier paid for the drink I wanted after I repeatedly asked him not to and that it wasn't a big deal forgoing the drink. He insisted and paid for it with his own money!!! Was such a nice gentleman and really turned my day around. Little sis he know that my father died today and he alone brought my spirits up and reminded me that there are Still great people in this world. Brian, I hope you get to read this and I hope we meet again. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to come in and get the exact same thing and leave you the biggest tip! Also I will definitely be with a different girl!!! THANK YOU BRIAN!!!!!!!!! read more

Pulled up to the new Starbucks and the car line was around the building so I walked in. Clean and friendly was my first impression. People were already hanging out on their computers and staff was moving quickly. Ordered my coffee and breakfast sandwich and within 1 minute my coffee was ready. It's about time Hendersonville had a Starbucks (not in a grocery store)! Even though Starbucks is a chain, I think they have good coffee. I always get the blonde. Pulled into lot on Thanksgiving night at at 9:15 pm, went to door and it was locked. Hours on door said open until 10 pm. Full staff was inside. Got in car and pulled to drive thru, sat there, no one took my order, so I pulled to window(again, hours said open until 10 pm). Tried to get mans attention, but he wouldn't look at me. Either observe your posted hours, or take them down, and close whenever you want. At least, someone could have acknowledged me. I won't be back. read more

Glad to have Starbucks in town. I've got a little one, and I appreciate a good drive thru coffee joint. Last time I went in, I asked if they had any coffee grounds I could take for my garden. The chick working was like, yeah, sure, do you mind if they're in a garbage bag? I said no, that's fine. 2 minutes later she rolls out with like, seriously, 40lbs of used grounds in a huge garbage bag. The drive back to my house with the enormous bag in the back of my car was great, it smelled so good! Luckily my yard is big and they went to good use. read more

Came here for my peppermint mocha and they ran out of the peppermint syrup and had no supply till the following Saturday ( 3 days later). Honestly how difficult is it to keep an eye on what's running low and put in an order before your all out. I do it with my vitamins, it's easy, the manager should run a tighter ship. read more

Don't get me wrong, this is also a bad Starbucks full of bad people, and I shall return that point shortly. This is a great Starbucks. Given its location, this crew is obviously able to handle a mixed crowd of locals, travelers, commuters, and tourists. They do this with much aplomb and down-to-earth sophistication. Moreover, they excel at serving drinks and other fare efficiently politely. Even the drive-thru was fast, and I hail from southern New York, just outside of NYC. The drinks are delicious, and the sole reason I sometimes get angry with you people and think you are horrid is that you work too hard. I merely want a doppio espresso in a short cup and a venti cup of ice, not ice water, not a doppio over ice, exactly what I ordered. Do not waste any more your time trying to make me drank, my drink, anything more than a stick a wee baby cup under the machine espresso drip and put the ice together while you're steaming someone's almond and coconut milk coffee parfait hold the straw. I swear these people are so used to making syrups and milks and foams and creams and juices and dried fruits that it's as if you're all paying them to remind you about espresso and that this drinks do contain actual coffee in them. Poor lil ones, stop working so hard. You're great! Becca, Meghan, Shane, Bryan, Theo and everyone else's names I'm still learning, go ahead and give me those extra espresso shots. I mean, go ahead and continue being an awesome Starbucks with shall we say, diverse population with a few precious regulars. read more
