Such a fun little spot we happened upon today! There were plenty of options on the menu but we went with an iced caramel macchiato and iced clockwork orange through the drive thru. Service was great and very educational! Will definitely return when in the area.

I came for the chai and would go back for the frapps and snacks haha. Wish the chai had more spice in it, but the Capt. Jack was pretty good (even though I'm not a coffee gal lol). But that cherry croissant was the bessssttt

Great local spot! Fantastic iced coffees and the staff is always friendly. Love the drive through option as well!

Finding this great little coffee shop was a delightful surprise! The drink menu is expansive. The barista was knowledgeable and efficient. We definitely want to go back!

Coming home from Hendersonville, me and my S/O wanted dessert after lunch but nothing big - coffee ! We read online this place offers boba, but currently it's only fruit flavored popping boba. Instead, I ordered one of the cafes speciality drinks - a Clockwork Orange. My chocolatey drink is very sweet, but perfect for a dessert ! My S/O says the taro thick and refreshing. Great little coffee spot!

Had to find a place for work since my hip coworking office decided to take Post Thanksgiving off. Came here because they had a "Print, Copy, Fax" sign on their window that screamed for vagabond office workers like myself. The Ugly Mug gave me a place of warmth and food during my lack of office crisis. The vibe kinda resembles a 1880 Chinese Opium den splitting up the booths with translucent scarlet curtains and paper lanterns radiating a comfort vibe. Each booth has a 6 prong outlet for a whole gamer set up (not that I would even think about doing that for work cough cough). Very friendly staff and over 50 varieties of tea makes this place a one of a kind experience, at least as far as coffee shops go. Ended up spending over $20 here, which is more that I should have spent, their cinnamon rolls were just so good. Lunch is not their greatest strength. They have more sweets and baked goods for food. Had to sustain a sugar rush for lunch while here. This is now on the go to list for working, tea snobbery, and hopefully a D&D group. Still looking for that.

Very good coffee joint that feels homey. I believe I've seen Joey's NY Bagels in there, which is a huge bonus.

Loved their menu as well. Although their mini cakes and other treats appealed to me as well, I opted to try their Taro Shaved Ice (they had 2 other flavors as well...think Mango and Mocha?). Well, their Taro Shaved Ice was PERFECT!!! The shaved ice was nice and dry, and the toppings (Boba, Lychee jelly, and Strawberries...even whipped cream on top) were generous and delicious! LOVED the place...and I can't wait to return! My husband will absolutely loved their version of Shaved Ice...What a treat to come!

It's spacious but still manages to feel cozy and charming at the same time. The vibe is adorable and a little hard to pin down. It feels like a mix between English tea time elegance and a bit of Spanish flair. It's unique and really something you just have to experience in person. I ordered the fancy carrot cake and it was exactly what a classic carrot cake should be. The flavor profile was spot on. Not overly sweet, not bland, just perfectly balanced with that warm spiced carrot cake taste. Paired with a cortado, it made the perfect little caffeine and sweet tooth moment. A great stop if you're wandering around Asheville and want a cozy place to sit with coffee and dessert.

I'm blanking on the name, but I really enjoyed their new watermelon coconut iced tea. My best friend got a butterfly pea iced tea. There is plenty of seating available. If you want more natural lighting you can sit at the front with chair and tables. I personally really liked the traditional chai (it was very strongly spiced but was delish) I also loved the shop/ tea house aesthetic of traditional floor seating in the back and American seating in the front with regular tables. We had shoes off and sat on the floor. The food was delicious too. We got hummus and some other dip I cannot remember the name of. Service was good although our order was kind of messed up and half forgotten (was waiting for our hummus and had to go back up to ask about it). I will say I was pretty frustrated with the sizes of the food given. We got a hummus and only got four small pieces of bread to go with it. We had so much hummus left and no bread that we ended up having to go back up and buy more. I also was given what felt like the equivalent of 3 teaspoons of honey for a whole pot of chai tea. We went up and got more but I just feel like it's a bit stingy / skimpy I'd recommend coming in and checking it out. Next time I'd love to do more research on types of teas as many were unfamiliar to me
