    Caprese Sandwich

I have been to Black Bear Coffee three times, and each time it has been great! The Caprese Sandwich was great with generous pesto on top. The teas I have ordered here are very good too (I would like a bigger selection of teas though)! They have a good selection of desserts, but I haven't tried one yet. Next time! Service is friendly and pleasant. The ambiance is welcoming with fun art pieces on the walls. I have seen groups here as a meet-up location, people with computers, solo diners, and people hanging out socially. Parking is cheap parking on the street. Looking forward to my next visit to Hendersonville. I will stop here again!

Both times I have visited Hendersonville I have loved stopping at this coffee shop. Their specialty coffees are very good, with the dreamsicle being very latest favorite. The staff is very friendly and handle long lines with ease. Their long hours are great and convenient. The outdoor and indoor seating is plentiful. Highly recommend visiting this shop while you are in town!

There is something unique about small town living. Friendly and inviting always come to mind and this place covers that. Friendly staff and a nice array of coffee and drink.choices. A small but adequate pastry selection and breakfast and lunch offerings. The coffee was done well and while a little slow on the breakfast sandwich delivery it was good and fresh. Prices are what they are for what you get but the attraction to sit outside and enjoy the town is a huge plus. Interior seating is also very well laid out and spacious. If your in town sit back relax and enjoy small town USA.

Trendy coffee Cafe in the middle of Main Street. The salted carmal mocha and the hot chocolate were exceptional. The service was friendly but a bit slow. The artisan Italian sandwich was good but the prosciutto was very tough and chewy. The grilled cheese was good, not sure why they added prosciutto slivers to it.

Best matcha I've had in a long time. They adjusted the sweetness as requested and served up the drink quickly! Seems like a great local coffee shop on the main St!

What great use of a such a large space! Love the high ceilings and spacious room. The staff were friendly, and my drink was AH-mazing! I had a yummy Cozy Cub with oat milk (I always appreciate finding non-dairy options). The drink was just the right amount of sweet without being overly so. Would def come back.

Decided to try these guys while in town, and I'm glad I did. Their chai is on point, and the kiddo liked being able to pick out a pastry from the display. The pop tart is HUGE!

Hot chocolate - absolutely amazing! Avocado toast - flavorful and very filling. You could definitely share this Bought some organic coffee as it's difficult to find in these parts. Be aware as not all options are organic for some reason. Would come back to try other types of drinks

We arrived in Hendersonville NC to visit for the weekend. After a long day of driving we were happy to find Black Bear Coffee downtown! I had a delicious strawberry iced latte with oat milk and my BF had a s'mores latte. Both were amazing! They had lots of people working and it was a cool Vibe.

Ahhhhh.... I am at my favorite coffee shop, Black Bear Coffee Co, 318 N. Main St in beautiful downtown Hendersonville. I WAS going to order a Honey Lavender latte this morning but this darn Nutty Irishman Latte kept calling my name. "Pick me! Pick me! I'm Seasonal! Pick me!" I mean... how can you say no to a delicious Latte made with Hazelnut and Irish Cream syrup and skim milk... large, extra, extra hot??? I just love this coffee shop...my favourites coffees are their Chai or their Mocha Frozen Frapps. I will order them year round..it can be 20° out and I'm ordering frozen Frapps! Of course, I do love their many different flavors of hot coffee choices as well! They always have a nice assortment of menu items such as pastries, salads, sandwiches etc. Beers and wines as well! Can't beat their fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable service! Love the staff at Black Bear! I love their relaxing, feel-good atmosphere, the nice background music and I especially, love their beautiful outdoor patios. So ....Hats off to Black Bear Coffee Co! Thank you for being here! Love you guys!

I have been to Black Bear three times over my recent visit to Hendersonville. Each visit has been very pleasant. Clearly the staff have a connection with locals which I appreciat. I had single origin Counter Culture from nicaragua--a solid coffee in the light range. While it was piping hot at 7, it had lost some of its warmth when I came in at 8:30. The dark chocolate/raspberry scone was excellent with both flavors spread generously through the scone. The scone had a crisp texture which I prefer to the softer, doughier forms. My wife enjoyed a pumpkin muffin from the texture standpoint but could have used a tad more cinnamon. I had a chocolate croissant the previous day and the chocolate to croissant ratio was much more than i had typically found at many other coffee shops.

Morning coffee and my "office" for about three hours today, I found a table towards the back next to a power outlet. With that, I was able to enjoy some morning wakeup while pounding away at the keyboard. Decent enough for a Teams meeting with really good noise cancelling hardware otherwise you would definitely need to go elsewhere. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Great coffee and working wifi. This was a great stop. [Review 20109 overall - 3465 in North Carolina - 1085 of 2023.]

Stop by here the other day when we were walking around downtown. Great location being in the city center. Plenty of seating and the inside space was welcoming for pairs and groups. Awful music playing - some sort of techno. It was quite busy, but we were there on a Sunday so it makes sense. The baristas were not overly friendly, but they were pretty swamped and young. There was still plenty of inside seating, which is good. The bathrooms were quite dirty with no toilet paper. I let one barista know, and she said she would handle it. The coffee was pretty decent, but it was definitely expensive. This place felt like a chain and then it was quite standard and they charged for everything extra. They did have bottles of water for a dollar which came in handy because it was very hot. I would prefer a place just have free water for customers, but I guess when you were downtown and acting as a coffee chain, you can't do it all.

They have a drive through, but considering that it was my first time here, I wanted to get a better idea of the options/menu, so we went in. It gives off old school diner eclectic vibes, which is cool with me. The staff was friendly and greeted us after finishing up the drink they were making. We took some time to check out the menu & landed on an iced Turtle - one of those listed under "specialty drinks," which was caramel, dark chocolate, and butter pecan. I was a little nervous when I got it because of the amount of syrup in the bottom, so I gave it a good stir. Flavor was a little strong, mostly from the dark chocolate (which I'm not the biggest dark chocolate fan to begin with), but after a good mix, all blended pretty well. I enjoyed the flavor and would certainly drink it again, but would like to try another option to explore more of the menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through the area.

This morning my family and I decided to get up early and grab a bite at Arabella's in downtown…read moreHendersonville. Usually we come around 10ish and there's a small wait or the place is just really packed (even outdoor seating). But today we stopped around 8:30 and there was only a couple of tables taken up. We were greeted with a smile right away and taken to a table. We were given 2 different menus. One containing the different breakfast and brunch options they offer and the second one with the coffees and alcoholic beverages. Once you look at the menu you see that there is a lot of the basic breakfast options you can find at other restaurants. But what also makes the menu different is that they offer latin breakfast and lunch items like huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Since it was so early I decided to go with the huevos rancheros since I've never had them here before. I also decided to go with the honey bear latte (iced) with oat milk as my drink for this morning. My latte was really good! It had hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. The oat milk mixed in perfectly making the latte have a nice creamy taste. Once my dish came out I was happy at the presentation of the plate. I ordered my eggs overhard and they came topped with salsa roja, queso fresco, and cilantro. All of this was placed on top of a fried tortilla and given to me with a side of home fries. Over all I did like the dish. I will say the salsa roja threw me off because I expected it to be a little more spicy, however it had a more citrus/lime taste to it. The home fries however were a 10/10 for me, I liked how crispy they were and how I didn't need to add more salt and pepper to them. Overall I really did enjoy my time this morning at Arabella's. Our server was super nice and attentive with us. The atmosphere is calming. Also it's nice to see the people of Hendersonville coming in and supporting this local business. If you're from the area or a tourist definitely check this place out. You wont be dissapointed.
