Stopped in this location to fuel up before a 5-hour road trip to Durham. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The hot chai tea latte was smooth and delicious - hit the spot. My fave breakfast sandwich, the bacon, egg and gouda did not disappoint! Just what I needed to get my trip going. Again, quick drive-thru, welcoming staff- I was ordering a 'healthier version' of one of the specialty lattes by ordering a plain coffee with just the pumps of syrup, no frothed cream & toppings etc- the staff was awesome at letting me know a better ratio of blending the pumps to achieve flavor. Ordered my coffee as I was leaving work, had to wait an extra ten minutes when I got there for them to finish making it because the baristas were talking up a storm instead of doing their job, including the manager behind the register. This Starbucks has always the best staff--not matter how early you arrive! The drive thru is speedy, however, the placement is not exactly the best. There is traffic coming from both directions at all times upon exiting the drive thru and since the parking lot is incredibly small, there have been manyyyy accidents. No idea why we continue to act surprised when we see a fender bender here--I've also almost been hit a few times from people speeding out and not being aware of the drive thru area. The inside of this establishment is clean and has super cute greenery added to the walls. In addition, they have some wall decals that adds to the overall trendy plant aesthetic. However, lately this Starbucks has been trashy outside. Today we went inside to order and there were a few men outside that appeared intoxicated, displaced and quite dirty. They were all asleep on the patio area and had a lot of trash surrounding them due to people buying them food from inside and also providing them free waters. Once inside there was one man sitting at the main circle table, who once I made eye-contact with him, he placed his hands inside his pants and made faces. We ran out with our drinks. I ordered my typical venti-size beverage with a plant-based milk option. When I received my drink, I observed that only 75 percent of the cup was filled. For this reason, I immediately inquired and was informed that they were out of venti cups, so they used a trenta cup. I cannot speak for anyone else, but an observation such as this would automatically spark inquiry. Since I was always told that venti was the largest option for my beverage, I had no idea about the next size. In consideration that I am not a Starbucks regular, I am not well versed on all of the lingo. In this instance, perhaps drive-thru was not the best option. Here's the thing....if the item purchased deviates not only from the expected, but also departs from the norm, as the staff member take the initiative to inform the customer. I was told that the amount in the cup was venti size, so I felt satisfied with the response and drove off. After I left, I realized that a receipt was not provided, so I checked when I arrived at my destination and discovered that I was overcharged. I know how much I typically pay. If the prices increased, as many things have; make that known. I am not pleased with this visit. I really prefer the Safeway location because the one young lady always provides top-notch customer service and my drink never disappoints. read more

I've been to this Starbucks a couple times and it's been a pretty crappy experience every time except for today. I think they hired a new barista/cashier and she's just amazing. Absolutely elevates this place! She was the friendliest person I've ever met that works here and is very quick with drink making. She even offered the person after me, who was struggling to decide on what to get, to make her another drink if she didn't like that one. The exterior was strewn with trash you had to pick your way around to get to the entrance. Both restrooms were filthy and lacking supplies. There were few customers in the store. This is my favorite Starbucks ever. It's fairly new, super clean, and oh so esthetically pleasing. There is a drive through, with a monitor that shows your drink and all of its modifications in detail, which is key as someone who has a million mods in her drink. I find the drive through to be the most time efficient option but I'll occasionally mobile order and run in. Occasionally, I will have my drink made incorrectly here so make sure you take a sip before leaving. However, the baristas here are busy and work hard and are always lovely if you (nicely) request a remake. The parking lot has a dead end with the drive though so it can get a little sticky during peak times but that's my only complaint. read more

My first experience at this Starbucks Drive Thru was not very pleasant. I got in line with five or so cars in front of me, and yet I spent, no kidding, 30 minutes waiting in line for a single drink. I am a self proclaimed Starbucks connoisseur, so one thing I know is the taste of a great Caramel Frapp ! I've come to this Starbucks about 5 times, constantly trying to give them a chance. EVERYTIME I come they get at least one thing wrong ! Either they make the frapp with too much ice, no caramel(after I repeatedly ask for "extra caramel drizzle"), or not enough caramel from the pump. 3/5 times I've come, I've asked the Barista to remake my drink, getting it right on the second attempt !
