We visit this Starbucks location at least five times a week and have never had an experience as disappointing as this one. We ordered two venti coffees but were handed grandes by mistake. The woman at the window was extremely kind and apologetic--she told us to go ahead and keep the drinks we were already handed and had taken a sip from, and that they would remake them in the correct size. However, another employee came to the window, took the headset from the original lady, and told us we needed to return the drinks--even though we had already been told to keep them and had already started drinking them. She then handed the drinks back out the window without a single word--no apology, no thank you, nothing. Just cold, rude service. This was by far the worst experience we've had at this location. The attitude and handling by that second employee were completely unprofessional and made us feel like we were the ones who had done something wrong. We hope management takes this seriously and addresses it--because if this becomes the new norm, we'll stop coming altogether. read more

I'm going to add a star. Mostly because of the super-friendly, and bubbly, person that took our order 9/20/2022 @ 10:14 am (at register 1). Thuy and I recently each scored a $5 card, and after our annual blood draw seemed the perfect time to use it. I went the Pumpkin Spice Latter. Thuy opted for the Apple Cinnamon with Oat Milk. Both drinks were good. We appreciated that the apple drink was not overly sweet. This location is the older one in Granbury. It's not quite as big, or as cozy, as the Starbucks by Kroger, but it will do. I don't ever recall service as friendly there, as I received here. Also, since our favorite place for coffee, that was on the square is now inside the HEB, makes me more likely to hit a Starbucks. Which one? Well it all depends on where I'm going to, or coming from. One thing I won't due, is queue in the ridiculously long line that forms for the drive-thru. Sheesh, we had our coffee and were sitting down, before the line moved two cars. Ordered two different Matcha Lattes, One being 2 pumps of chai, whole milk, extra hot, and light foam. the second being the same yet 1 pump of chai. Yesterday I ordered the exact same thing and it tasted just fine, yet today I had to order two different drinks because well, my first drink tasted oddly bitter with a hint of dirt and coffee. Mind you I absolutely love Matcha, it's not that I just tried it for the first time and complaining that it's not to my taste. I have never had Matcha and it tasting like this. Fast forward, I ordered a second drink cause well, maybe something went wrong and it was just an accidental mistake. Nope! second drink tasted almost worse and the aftertaste is vile. Not happy with my purchase whatsoever, might as well make it from home. Perhaps it's not because they're in the hustle and bustle of a "big city" but these guys always seem to have an issue getting my order right. Three out of four times I have to pop back in and have them remake what I ordered because it's wrong. I do love that they have a drive thru, but the speaker is terrible. I have never been run out of a Starbucks before. Walked in 10 minutes before closing time and were run out by lights turning off in the lobby and staff yelling "we are closed; time to leave!" At most, other Starbucks politely close the doors to the place while reminding the customers sitting at the lobby that they are closing but are welcome to stay for a few minutes longer while they clean up the place. This starbucks it a bit higher priced than the ones in California, but they still have the same great product. At least they are consistent with their service. There was a new girl working and she took FOREVER to make my coffee, constantly having to ask someone how to make it. She kept apologizing to me, but I assured her that it was alright and to just take her time. She was very nervous and apologized once more as she handed me my coffee. There's just something magical when you manage to get amazing friendly service AND a product that tastes as if angels had come down from heaven and gently kissed your coffee tenderly. The husband and I stopped here around noon on Saturday for a quick pick me up that would get us through the day and oh are we glad we stopped here and not Dunkin Donuts right down the block. Originally, I really wanted to stop at DD to get coffee and donuts, but after the husband reminded me that DD doesn't have chai lattes we decided we couldn't go there anymore. Well... this Starbucks gets 5 stars in my book. The baristas were SO friendly. Perhaps I'm not used to friendly service in Dallas, but they were so eager to start conversations! We ended up ordering a venti chai latte and a cinnamon dolce latte, both were supposed to be iced. The cinnamon dolce ended up turning out hot and despite the baristas asking my husband they could make a cold one for him, he decided he would just drink it hot. Well... according to him, it was the BEST cinnamon dolce latte he had ever had in his life. Now, my husband has a very big heart, he's easily influenced by good food and sweet things, but after taking a sip of it i concluded that he was right, it was THE BEST cinnamon dolce latte I had ever had as well. I've tried this location multiple times and have always been disappointed. They never get my order right. The first time I came back and had them fixed it. But the times after that it was just too much hassle to drive back and have it fixed. My chai latte always tastes watered down. Like they just omitted the steamed milk and put straight up water in it. I get that they can get busy but providing consistency and good customer service shouldn't be that difficult --especially when they are charging close to $6 for a cup of coffee. read more
