Getting in and out of this Starbucks is a nightmare in itself. I was going to go to the drive-thru but I ended up just going inside the store. The line for the drive-thru was ridiculous! I ordered ahead on the app as usual for one of my favorite holiday drinks, the caramel brulee latte. I walked inside nobody in the store. No employee greeted me, but that's okay! My drink was ready and I left. My drink was good and I'll never go out of my way to come back to this location, but at least I know it's here. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Glenarden, Maryland

Black coffee kind of day. Placed my order at 7:08a. My app said my order would be ready within 4-7 mins. Finished getting dressed...ran to Costco to gas up and pulled up at 7:20am. I had to ask the manager about my drink...smh... He knows me by name. So he asked me what did I order and I told him I just had a tall dark roast...no room...just a black coffee. Geesh! Smh... 2 stars because in this is the week of Thanksgiving...I'm still thankful. Happy Yelping! read more

Rarely do they get my order correct the first time. And with a dairy allergy, tasting whole milk in my coffee is very frustrating.

I'm a loyal Starbucks customer (and yes, an early riser when it comes to new cup releases!), but what happened this morning was beyond disappointing. Several of us were lined up well before the 5 AM opening, excited for the new glass barista cup drop. We were chatting, caffeinated on anticipation, and ready to shop respectfully and fairly. Right before doors opened, an employee came to the door, stepped in front of the entire line, and was allowed to be the first to purchase the very item we'd all been waiting for but they said they didn't receive it. Needless to say, that did not go over well. On release day, fairness and transparency matter -- and this was the opposite. To make things worse, the baristas' attitude felt downright dismissive. No smiles, no "thank you for waiting," no acknowledgment of the situation -- just cold energy all around. When I finally went to purchase another cup (not even the viral one!), Khadijah rang me up and handed me a bag to place my purchase in myself. That small gesture -- or lack thereof -- really summed up the morning: zero hospitality. I get that release days can be hectic, but this was poorly handled from start to finish. Starbucks Glenarden, please do better -- both for your customers who show up early and for the reputation of your team. UNACCEPTABLE on all fronts read more

I come here often (usually drive thru) and on more occasion than once I was met with a bad attitude from the female sounding person on the other side. I'm a pleasant person and treat people with respect so there was no need for the attitude. More recently (yesterday) around 10 AM. I went inside because the drive thru was not open. It was busy so I was pretty patient. The girl taking orders was pleasant and quick. I stood off to the side to wait for my order to be ready. After about 10 minutes my name was called. My drink was ready but not the pastry I ordered. Cool, no biggie, I'll wait. Another several minutes goes by .... The girl working the food comes over with at least 6 orders and starts calling out names (all of whom ordered after me). I wait a little while longer and I don't see her making mine. So I grab the attention of the young lady in front of me. "Hey can u please check on..." "SHES WORKING ON IT" , "I don't think she is. Everyone behind me has gone" , "SHES WORKING ON IT" I could tell that she wasn't working on it or in any order because she was grabbing tickets as they printed out and sticking them all over the place in no specific order. So I took it upon myself to grab the attention of the young lady making the food and she found my ticket and got right to it. I'm not sure what's with the attitudes for no reason in this Starbucks but if u can't handle the fast pace find employment elsewhere. I will however be taking a break from this place. read more

Slow service in drive thru and my iced shaken espresso wasn't measured properly for grande serving size.

If you've ever ordered Starbucks, you know it's a gamble--either you get a perfectly crafted drink, or you're out here sipping disappointment because money doesn't grow on trees (but Starbucks prices sure make it seem like it does). The Experience: A Game-Changer at the Drive-Thru I stopped by Starbucks in Woodmore Town Center around 6 PM on Sunday with my boyfriend, and let me tell you--the drive-thru staff was on point. Customer service can be hit or miss at times, but this time? 10/10. The girl at the intercom was so helpful and actually saved me from overcomplicating my order. I was about to copy some TikTok drink hack, but she suggested I just get: Gingerbread Chai Latte (hot) with oat milk & vanilla cream cold foam And honestly? Best decision ever. My boyfriend ordered: Grande Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino No whip on top or bottom 3 pumps of brown sugar syrup Vanilla sweet cream foam And listen--the barista who made these drinks? A STAR. The Barista Who Deserves a Raise I don't know her real name, but her cup tag is Kikibeanz. The drinks were PERFECTION--better than any we've had at other locations. We even tried another Starbucks afterward, and let's just say... it wasn't giving what it was supposed to give. The Final Touch: A Personalized Affirmation To top it all off, she wrote an affirmation on my cup. Now, I don't care if she writes it on every single order--it made me feel special, and that's what matters! It truly set the tone for my evening. Final Thoughts: Amazing customer service (shoutout to the drive-thru girl!) Drinks made to perfection Personal touch with an affirmation that made my day If Kikibeanz isn't working, just come back later. Woodmore Starbucks, y'all need to give this barista a bonus because she's the reason we're loyal now. If you're coming here, pray she's on shift. Otherwise, proceed with caution! read more

Customer service was pleasant enough. But they do not know how to make good coffee. I had a shaken espresso that looked like a cup of milk and when I went back to get it fixed, it was so flavorless. I will not return for coffee from this location. read more

Thee Slowest service ever! I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon waiting for a single cup of coffee. No one came to the window until other cars behind me started honking. Moved with no sense or urgency or care. Disappointed read more

Every time I visit this Starbucks location, my drinks are made correctly and served with a smile. I love the fact that there is a drive-thru. However, if you want to sit inside and enjoy your purchase, you can do that as well. I have never experienced an instance where there was insufficient seating or the cafe area wasn't clean. The only issue may be finding an available seat if you want to work solo. My only gripe...but it impacts my visit every single time...the drive-thru is always backed up and it can be difficult getting in the line without impeding traffic. There has to be a way to control this. I fear angry tempers may flare one day due to a mix-up in who arrived to the line first. Happy sipping. read more

Peace and blessings, I'm writing this email after a store manager inquired about whether I was going to purchase a drink while doing my work. Once he understood I was fasting for Ramadan, he let it go. The store manager's inquiry wasn't the issue. It's the timing. During our previous exchange, back in December, I interrupted the store manager's conversation with a colleague who kept referring to African Americans as Akatas. If you don't know, Akata means lost cat, and it's a term used derogatorially against those whose ancestors were taken from Afrika and endured the slave trade. The young man that the manager was with kept saying it, thinking no one understood the meaning. It's a hurtful term, meant to demean African Americans and other them at a time when so many are embracing Pan-Afrikanism. During that incident, the manager, instead of stopping his friend from using such language, brought up the policy about purchasing drinks. Perhaps as a means of stopping my inquiry into why his friend, who had no drinks, was speaking so harshly. This was despite my being there for more than two hours, having already purchased drinks and pastries. The manager in question has seen me in this store, located on Taj Lane, for at least two years. He secured my charger for me when I left it. We established a slight bond over my Liberian heritage and penchant for wearing West African garb. He knows I purchase food and drinks when I come into Starbucks. That being said, I'm wondering to myself why wait until today to inquire about my patronage of the store. The very same way he did on that December night. read more

Horrible experience. I recognize that Starbucks is busy in the morning but a 45 minute wait for two drinks is insane. I arrived at 11:00am and ordered at 11:15am ....as I stand here at 11:58....I am still waiting on my drink. After asking twice they began making my drinks. The first time I asked, the guy in the front making drinks laughed and asked my name. When I told him he said "Oh, your ticket just printed...". My ticket just printed 30 minutes later?! The guy after we asked again asked the cashier to help him. As she makes our drinks, we over heard the guy making the drinks tell the cashier that the ticket fell between the cracks of the machines ... seemingly that is how we ended up waiting so long. To be busy is one thing but to be on your headset laughing with coworkers , dropping tickets , etc is deplorable . Mistakes happen yes but be HONEST. Why not be honest and say you dropped my ticket instead of acting like it just printed. My receipt said 11:15 and it just printed? I am disgusted and an hour of my day is wasted. I believe the person that was making the drinks and having a good time on his headset was Marv or Marvey . I will never return to this location again. read more

This is my most frequented Starbucks and mostly the experiences have been pleasant. I do think they need to figure out a way to better handle crowds on weekends since those are naturally the most busy days. My most recent visit was on a Sunday morning and there was a long drive thru line (as expected). After waiting in line for a while, I get to the speaker to order and I'm told to hold on. I ended up waiting for an additional five minutes. They were out of most of their food items so I ended up with just a drink. It was dissatisfying to wait so long and not be able to order most of what I came for. The person working the front was pleasant so that was a plus. I will be back since it's the closest to me but I hope they figure out better crowd management. read more

I come here mostly on Thursdays because it's my late day. A couple times I went, the store was literally closed. Most other times the wait is so long in the drive through. When I go , I have to pack my patience. Customer service is lacking. The bathrooms are always dirty here. read more

When someone walks in, the staff should actually speak to them! Nor should a customer have to wait at the register before they have to ask the staff to take their order....backwards, right?! This is by far the rudest location in this area. Never have a good, not even an okay, experience. And reading definitely is not a prerequisite for employment. read more

A mess! I wanted to order the iced black tea with Mango syrup and just the mango syrup! Not the mango and dragon fruit combination. When I had expressed that to the barista they got upset and was telling me "What are you talking about? We don't have that!!". When I have been able to get that option at a few other Starbucks without the dragon fruit! Then one of the other baristas over the intercom yelled "Oh he mad!!" Talk about unprofessional! I just drove off because I don't need a mad barista making my drink. I don't know what they could do to it since I'll be out of view in the drive through. No thank you! Not to mention customer service is often slow at this one too! read more

Never again They need to hire cashiers that can take orders CORRECTLY. Once I pointed out the mistake the staffers told me I needed to come back around and ordered again. Ummm I'm sorry but why do I have to go back around and reorder? The issue should've been fixed and not piss the customer off. Don't like how this matter was handled therefore I will not be returning to this location. This is my neighbor store but I'll take a drive to another location...do better read more

This location has a drive through available. I usually use it and it moves quickly and tge staff are friendly. Today I went inside. The atmosphere and vibe was great. The staff and manager that assisted me was very friendly. They had many people which made food preparation and the service quick. As I waited. For my order, I even noticed that they had various sized tables to accommodate different groups of people. There were people both teleworking, studying, sitting having casual talk and even I noticed a chess club meetup. They also had an outside seating area and patio which was really a cool space. The only gripe and reduction is that the store could have use some cleaning. There was visible trash on the floor and tables/chairs were everywhere in the outdoor seating area. I suggest the staff do a spot check every hour or so just to keep the store clean and in order. Store location is in a shopping center and a standalone Starbucks. It is surrounded by trees changing from the season and a bit secluded iwhich makes for a great retreat if going for a reprieve. I ordered a Double Smoked Bacon and Cheddar Sandwich (to-go) and Iced Americano (my favorite). I also ordered a medicine ball tea. During this season, it is a must. The citrus and mint flavors is a great, relaxing, green tea concoction that kicks the beginning of any cold. Highly recommend! This is my first visit here and I can say the experience was really good. Definitely would come back when in this area. read more

This is just the worst starbucks around in Maryland, they are slow in every way. They make online order drinks before the people that are already in the stores drink. Im pleased with the drinks, however, the efficiency of this location needs improvement. The drive through line is always tremendously long and doesn't move. I literally always sit in line at the drive through for like 30 mins. Inside is no better. I'm not sure if they are understaffed. read more

Do not go into this starbucks, i'm serious. I went in this morning with my husband and only one person was in front of us. The drive thru line was not backed up so tell me why it took 19 minutes for us to get our two drinks? Everyone working the morning shift on May 6,2026 had a terrible attitude. The young lady with blond hair not only had an attitude on her face but responded very rude to me when I asked for an update on my order. A tall male working there was also unprofessional, throwing milk gallons around, throwing cups around and walking slowly to each work station. We got two loaf slices and were cold and stale by the time we got our drinks. The drinks were made poorly due to the workers forgetting about our order. The drive-thru line had backed up, the lobby got full inside, the amount of people waiting for their orders was insane! Poor work crew, poor work coordination and team work. Side note: bathrooms were disgusting and the big windows had stains on them. The tables were also sticky read more

I placed an order on Sunday 03 May around 12:50 my app said my order would be ready between 3-8 minutes no problem. I walked in it was a nice crowd waiting so I packed my patience because I could already tell by the energy this was not going to go well. At 1:05 I received my packaged food item and waited for my drink that was never made and so I asked for my money back for the drink because when I asked them how much longer for my drink they said they didn't know they had 9 drinks in front of me. This location is aways busy because it's the only one in this area you have to go to the one at Ritchie Station for the other nearest location depending where you are. Their drive thru is also struggling with the wait time which is ridiculous! I saw an employee come out one time to place an orange cone behind my car because they were backed up. Once I placed my order and eventually got to the window they had forgot what I ordered and never apologized for the wait or anything. read more

Rude customer service, and the jalapeño cheddar pocket was not good. I wouldn't come back to this place just based off the customer service

I come to this location because it's the closest to me but there is ALWAYS an issue with my order here. Whether they forgot something, my drink was too watery, my food was overheated and burnt. The last straw for me was today when I waited in the drive thru stuck in between 7 cars for 30minutes! Couldn't move up or back. As an 8 month pregnant woman, I had to ask the 3 cars behind me to back up so that I could get out of line, then the line begins to move forward. I asked the later at the window what the hold up was and her response was " Sorry... we are just really busy...Would you like to order anything?" I'm extremely disappointed and disgusted. I should've stopped coming to this location a while ago.. smh. read more

The cashiers are disrespectful, especially the girl with the heart-shaped tattoo on her face. Bad service.

Greate experience. Fast service. Nice employees .busy store.food was good. My drink taste soo good.

Today I decided to give this Starbucks location another chance. I still stand by my original rating of 3 stars. The staff I've experienced have always been kind, professional however it always seems to feel like they are understaffed and unhappy. Getting to this location can be a nightmare depending on the time of day which also impacts my rating. Today I had my go to: iced chai latte with vanilla and hazelnut syrup and I subbed the milk for oat milk. Delicious, 10/10 Double chocolate cake pop: this will always be my favorite. Today, the pop stick was messy with icing from another bakery item, however that's a very minor gripe that won't take away from the overall flavor profile. If I do happen to be near, I would stop by, but this location needs to be planned out due to the growing community and congested shopping center. read more

Been here multiple times when visiting family that lives nearby. The first thing that struck me was that the interior design of this store was different from any of the other Starbucks that I have been in. It's very open, warm and welcoming. I could easily see myself hanging out here reading a book or doing some work. Now the second thing I noticed after multiple visits is long lines at the drive thru, and inconsistent customer service inside. One time my wife and I went by and there was a note on the door saying they were closed because they did not have enough staff. Based on my expereince, I would not recommend that you go out of your way to go to this Starbucks. If this is your local Starbucks you know what to expect and are setting your expectations appropriately. read more

I'm wish I could give the Starbucks a zero. I've been in line for 30 minutes. The item I ordered is not in stock and I still have to sit in this line. I just had a positive experience with this Starbucks location. I ordered my drink on the mobile app and when I came in, it was ready for me. This Starbucks is the worst, when we got there it was packed, which is understandable both drive thru and inside. Placed our order for 2 drinks, Iced Brown Sugar and Iced Hazelnut at 11:15 am. As we waited we noticed that the orders were coming out at a steady pace but I overheard a couple say they have been waiting for 30mins. After 20 mins of us waiting we noticed people that ordered after us were getting their drinks and food with within a decent time. By 11:50 we asked the barista, I believe his name was Marv if our drinks were in the queue and he says the ticket just printed out, which is confusing if people that ordered before and after us were getting drinks and food. When another customer overheard us say we've been waiting 45 mins she was shocked and said when the managers are not working in the store it is always chaos and proceeded to grab her drink and she ordered after us, the same exact drinks. Luckily one of the customers spoke to Kyree about us waiting and he proceeded to let barista know that he overlooked our order and to make it. We literally waited for 55 mins to get our 2 drinks. The young lady at the counter helped out as much as she could while attending to customers at the counter and restocking for the barista that was moving too fast and doing a whole bunch of nothing. No organization and everything was all over the place, Do better please!!! read more

I usually go to get my medicine ball drink from the Starbucks inside the target in Upper Marlboro Md.Today I had my son to get one at the Woodmore location 7:45 pm. This drink did not taste like a medicine ball. It just taste like regular herbal tea. I did not taste the peppermint nor the lemonade or honey in it. I even tried to contact the store and no one picked up the phone . Starbucks you gotta do better at this location and I read the reviews at this location after the fact that I got my drink and I can see why it's not good.
