My husband and I got stuck at the Petro overnight since he's a trucker, and I got excited when I saw a Starbucks (hey, truck stop coffee gets old). I was expecting it to be one of those simple counter Starbucks like they have at the other truck stops, but lo and behold it's an actual store attached to the truck stop. I felt weird when I walked in with my pajamas on. Same prices as any other Starbucks, but they charge sales tax, whereas most of the others I've been to don't. They have a basic menu, none of the specialty seasonal drinks, but if you know what you want, they can probably make it. read more

After the poor reviews, we almost didn't stop here, but since we are on a road trip, we stopped out of desperation anyway on a Sunday afternoon. Not big Starbucks fans to begin with, we were pleasantly surprised with our coffees. The service was great too! read more

This is THE WORST STARBUCKS, do not waste your time stopping here. It is attached to a giant gas station, there is a Popeyes there too. First of all the two female employees were awful--terrible attitudes, incredibly slow and completely apathetic to the fact they are in customer service. First, the barista taking the order had no idea what the availability of any of their drinks were. I ordered a cold brew coffee with splash of heavy cream. I waited for 15 minutes only to be told they were out of cold brew. I said that's fine, just sub an iced coffee. There was no coffee in my drink, it was white. My daughter ordered an iced vanilla latte, the barista had no idea how to make it and I actually watched her add the vanilla syrup after she made the drink, unsure of whether she had already done so--she had. She had to remake the drink. Then she made an iced caramel macchiato for another customer and did the same thing. She had to remake their drink as well. People those are standard Starbucks drinks. Not off a "secret menu". I worked at Starbucks 20 years ago and even I know how to make those drinks. The line was probably 15 customers deep by the time we left 20 minutes later (we were the ONLY customers when we arrived). Even if you think your coffee order is easy, beware. This location is just not worth it. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. I really enjoy going to Starbucks and having only one in the area makes it even more of a treat. But this is by far the WORST Starbucks I've ever been to. The girls working there have terrible attitudes. The last time I was there, I asked a question and was answered with "I don't know." She didn't make any effort to find out through her computer, or asking someone else. She just stared at me until I started my order... and then completely ignored the one modification I made to my drink (making it unsweetened). When the girl making my drink asked for the classic syrup, I tried telling her (again) that I didn't want it in my drink. When I asked another barista to please let her know to not to add any syrup, she too ignored me, even though she was standing right in front of me and I was the only customer there. Needless to say my drink was awful. You're better off going literally anywhere else. read more

I don't know if it's a training issue or what but I've had to talk them through it each time and I've never worked at a Starbucks. Someone from a corporate training center needs to help them out. I wouldn't give them any stars if I didn't have to this is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I mean I understand people are human we ALL make mistakes but with that being said if you make a mistake just fix it don't argue about it and then turn around and do it again except this time you don't even bother putting the caramel in my drink but you put the mocha yet again in my Ultra CARAMEL Frappuccino it's a caramel drink not MOCHA. The attitude that girl had was unbelievable and to think I actually tipped her I will NOT make that mistake again. I've read some pretty nasty reviews about this place but, overall, I had a good experience. They were friendly and it's in a convenient location for me. One thing I would say is that the Frappuccino I ordered didn't have the icy texture it's supposed to, but it still tasted good. read more

My husband and I had an awful experience at your Gadsden, Alabama location. Employees were INCREDIBLY rude, and unhelpful, and beverages were disgusting and not hot. One employee in particular yelled at me after I asked about my (incorrect) drink order. My husbands latte was bitter and barely lukewarm. This is a franchise Starbucks . Therefore the price is considerably higher and no free refills for gold members and the refill charges are three times as much than regular Starbucks stores. No designated restrooms for the Starbucks customers. I truly wish they had a real Starbucks nearby. read more

The person at the register was extremely rude. I had a food item and trying to be helpful scanned it at the scanner because that is how it works at many Starbucks around the country. She rudely said it don't work like that. I jokingly said oh well you should ask them to fix that for you because it works like that in other Starbucks. She then said we aren't a corporate Starbucks which was clear by her attitude corporate Starbucks wouldn't allow someone to talk to customers like she was talking to me. Very condescending. So the receipt prints she says to me you can get your receipt. Oh um ok... I go to wait for my drink and she proceeds to make fun of me with the other customers and other workers. The lady behind me gets her drink the other barista says to me what did you get so my order wasn't even relayed. I left feeling embarrassed and completely put off. I normally wouldn't write a review I just wouldn't go back however they are the only Starbucks in 20 miles. And they had chalkboards asking for a yelp review be careful what you wish for. read more
