We had the reuben, judge, courthouse, Marshall, and gurnee (sp?). They come with a selection of white, wheat, Italian or jalapeno cheddar bread. They also have several wrap options. They gave plenty of meat on each sandwich, which I appreciate and choice of veggies and sauces. We got combos with a drink and chips. I also had the pasta salad as a side. I promise, Crestline Bagel is as good as anywhere in NYC, and Homewood Bagel seemed to be following that program as well. However, upon entering Homewood Bagel and sitting down today, I noticed that the table had clearly not been cleaned since the breakfast orders had ended. This should be automatic for any food service establishment, yet no one came to assist even though they saw me sitting there cleaning their table. I'm going to assume that the owners or manager will address this promptly and I will return. But I used to be a lawyer for the county health department, so I will be looking closely to see if this hopefully temporary problem is resolved.
