Lately, I've been shopping and I realized I need something to drink. I stepped into this Starbucks and had no problem securing parking right away. The friendly barista took my order and I only waited a very short time for my holiday beverage. As I waited, I noticed this place looks completely loftier than I last remembered. There's so much more room while it's still maintaining the Scandinavian clean atmosphere. I also noted how all the baristas truly work in tandem and there's absolutely no chaos or confusion with any order. In other words, they work exceptionally well together. All of them are equally friendly and helpful when someone is undecided about what to order. Upon getting my drink, the sweet barista handed me a special season holiday red cup. You only get these if you order a holiday drink. I had not known this so it was an added bonus. Out of all the Starbucks along route 9, this was is superior. The others just gave me the impression they're performing in a perfunctory manner. No love or care. This location was outstanding as they take care to ensure you received a great drink because as I sat there quaffing my beverage, the barista who made it inquired if the drink was good. I happily replied, it was spectacular. read more

I've been a Starbucks patron since 1996. This location is my least favorite. Iced drinks rarely have consistent ice portions. I recently paid $5.89 for a few sips of cold brew. Completely overloaded with ice. Theres a reason so many SB are going out of business. That's a fortune to pay for so little product. read more

I am a DoorDasher as well as a small business owner myself and one of the employees got extremely rude with me just for me asking her to verify the contents of the bag. In a very condescending voice, she goes, "hmmm is the lemonade in here? Oh look, here's a lemonade. Here you go." Excuse me, the bag is supposed to be sealed so I didn't wanna break the seal. Also, if I ever have an employee like her and I find out she's treating clients that way, they'll be fired on the spot, no questions asked. I come here for the convenience but no longer think I'm going to be a customer. This place is always busy. I'm patient i get it. But when I put a mobile order in 25 minutes earlier and arrive and still have to wait 10 minutes for it to be made? Now that's unacceptable. Also, almost every time I get a drink here it's not filled to the top which is super frustrating. Sometimes these drinks are $7 or more. I feel like they're taking advantage of me but not filling the drink up. Most of the time I'm on my way to work. One time when I asked them to fix it, it took several minutes more and sometimes I just don't have the time so I leave frustrated. This place needs to get it together. read more

This is a fairly large free-standing Starbucks with a drive-thru and adequate parking. I find it somewhat annoying that the menu board only has prices listed for the "Grande" items. The is ample seating and they seem to do a large amount of mobile order ahead pick up business. read more

This one of my favorite Starbucks locations because it is fairly new and the atmosphere is relaxed. It was once upon a time a Wawa. When the "super" Wawa opened a few miles south on the north bound side of route 9, this location closed. Several years past and then a "Starbucks coming soon" popped up and within a month it was opened. It's got a drive thru so if you're a walk-in, it might take a while to get your drink. I believe priority is given to the drive-thru otherwise the line will back up onto route 9. Inside, the place is clean. The baristas are friendly and efficient. I would dare to say that the coffee here taste better than most locations. Most of all, because of the drive-thru there is less foot traffic and the noise level is lower. If you need a place to work, this is the place....free Wi-Fi, unlimited refills (provided you're gold) and clean restrooms, I'm set for a very long stay. This particular location has the Starbucks Reserves coffee and is my go-to. For those who don't know, Starbucks Reserves coffee is their limited edition single origin coffees. There is little more love given to selection and roasting of these limited versions of Starbucks coffees. The Starbucks Reserves coffee is brewed on the Clover machine to extract the most flavorful cup of joe. If I'm in the mood for Starbucks coffee and wanting to relax and enjoy my coffee, I'll make the trip here. read more

It's a Starbucks, which you usually know what to expect if you're going to one. That being said, I usually hate Starbucks but came here one evening just to sit and study. The place is a lot cleaner than others I've been at and spacious, so I didn't feel cramped. The service was just okay. They forgot my order, even though it was just a hot tea...hot water + tea bag. So I stood there for a bit until someone noticed. The staff is a little loud too, maybe because they were a little younger and seemed to have a lot of friends stopping by. This Starbucks is definitely a memorable one, and not in a good way. Let me preface this by saying that the baristas - who I assume are all high school/college students - are extremely considerate, kind, and are clearly trying their best in this horribly managed facility. I have visited this store a couple times, in the event that I'm running late somewhere and it's (unfortunately) the closest to my family's house, and each time I am more and more disappointed. The drinks are fine, and as I stated before the baristas are super compassionate, but the overall environment of this particular store is horribly overwhelming. I believe I have seen the store manager once or twice and she did not look the least bit helpful - either texting while the baristas were practically running behind the counter, or would come out, then head directly to the back again. I have never seen such poor management skills at any Starbucks, as most of the other ones in the area have met my expectations, if not exceeded them. I order my drinks with soy milk and when I go in and order they do not even use the soy blender. They use the dairy blender to make the drinks. I'm not highly allergic to dairy, however I cannot have much. I am not pleased with this. However, Some of the staff is very friendly which is good, others are not however. Update: This Starbucks has gotten so much better. All of the staff is super friendly now and the drink I order actually comes out right! Service was a disaster. Two people in the store as clients. Two ladies in the back talking and when called to provide service it's an awful attitude. By far it is he worst Starbucks in the area. _____ And now the rest of the story... Yes this morning walk into this Starbucks, and the two clients in the store were sitting down. NO ONE else but me at the counter waiting for the two employees ignoring me and preferring to chat rather than provide customer service. The "manager" with no name on her, finally steps up and asks for our order, we asked for our order the way we usually do at any other starbucks and a banana nut loaf. She didn't understand when we state that the coffee we want it "darker" and to add extra two shots (less milk) which she had to ask what that was? She didn't ask if the banana nut loaf was to be warm and instead decided to SLIIIIIIIIIIIIDE it across the counter towards me. Didn't really know if we were asking for coffee or at some wester saloon asking for a shot if whisky!!). Rude as she could be, gave the rest of the order but not before it clearly took over 7 minutes to fill (again with NO ONE there). The nameless "manager" needs to go... At the rates Starbuck charges for coffee - that person better be pretty darn warm to clients and smile or she can go work elsewhere. read more

As a previous employee it was very upsetting to see how badly the company was represented. To start off when receiving my iced coffee it wasn't filled all the way. Now I know this may seem like a very minuscule detail, but ok previous visits it happened quite frequently. The employees never really properly went about making the drink and I don't understand why they were so stingy about making the drink. When previously working at Starbucks it's code to make sure the customer always receive what they want. If one is unsatisfied with their drink you make another. There is no reason to be stingy with a drink. To continue, I ordered from the drive thru and after I received my drink I went to collect my change. A quarter dropped when receiving the change. Rather than me getting frustrated the employee proceeded to show an attitude with his hands lifted up as if it was my fault. Regardless of who's fault it is that kind of attitude is annoying to see especially when I'm starting out my day. Overall, it was a very annoying process and left me leaving in a bad mood. Very large, spacious Starbucks (the largest in the state, in fact, according to a barista after I commented on how spacious the store was). Even when there are lots of people here I can often find a place to sit that's reasonably quiet just because the tables are spaced so far away from each other. As a result, despite the fact that there are three Starbucks that are closer to me, I often pick this one when I have work to do and need to get away from my apartment. I am still shaking my head 3 hours later. My boyfriend and I walked in at about 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only customers in the whole place. We walked up to the counter to place our order and we waited and waited and waited and not one person acknowledged us. Now if there was only 1 or 2 people working I could understand. That was not the case however. There were 6 people behind the counter and trust me we stood there long enough to count them several times. In particular 2 young girls standing not 3 feet from the register having a conversation. Finally after about 5 minutes one of them finally walked over and said "Are you being helped? ". I have to make my review for the last time I was there, which was today and the girl was really friendly and nice, my drink was easy and came out good, all I got was a French vanilla frappecino. I usually order this for my daughter and 9 times out of 10 here there is barely any vanilla syrup added so it just tastes like ice milk with whipped cream which is definitely a big disappointment because she won't drink it and my money is waisted. This location has been in Freehold for quiet a while now. I thought a few years ago when they opened the workers were just new trying their best but it has just gotten worse. I never wait in the drive threw for less than 20 mins. Most of the time the line is out to Rt 9 & i end up just going to Dunkin' Donuts thats 2 mins away because no matter how long their line is i never wait more than 10 mins. Mobile order actually takes more time than ordering inside, but that also takes forever. And this is when there are only 1-2 other customers in the store. I can't imagine during peak times. This place is a miss EVERY TIME. Only plus about it is the convenient drive-thru and location. This place never fails to mess up my order, regardless of what I am ordering. Every time I go to Starbucks, I order a vanilla iced coffee with cream. Each time I go, they give me milk and give ME an attitude when I politely inform them that I asked for cream and not milk! Without fail, they give me a "new" coffee with milk (still no cream!). As anyone that prefers cream in their coffee, you know the different between MILK and LIGHT/HEAVY CREAM (coffee-making 101). Also, whenever I get an iced tea I specifically ask for no water so it does not taste watered down. Each time, without fail, it tastes as if they added EXTRA water due to how watery it tastes. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

95% of the time my order is incorrect. The drive thru line is always so long. Expect to be on like for about 15 mins or so. Small parking lot. But, worst of all, is the attitude you get from the employees who think they are better than you. I asked for a straw for my trenta iced tea. The cashier gave me a straw that would fit in a small drink and when I asked for the correct size straw she told me the drive thru was out and they were in the front of the store. I asked her if she needed me to get out of my car and go inside to get a straw and then she said she Guess she can get it for me...wow, thanks so much for doing your job! For the most part the staff is super nice but seems as if there are new people often. Only a few people i continuously see. I've been coming here for five years and over the past 6 months the service seems to decline. The lines are so long due to the service being so slow. I use the drive through because I'm heading to work. I tried to run inside once thinking it would be faster but that was even worse. Not sure if they have a lot of turn over but for people utilizing the drive thru because of time, it is painfully slow. The one in brick gets me in and out no matter how long of a line and my drink still is perfect there. Got some work to do for those who need to get to work in the morning. read more
