My daughter has been on a quest to visit coffee shops around the state. We stopped by Riposo's after visiting my parents. I have no complaints on my coffee drink. Had the Maple Cinnamon Latte, which I didn't expect to be that sweet. Definitely flavorful. Place gets busy and we waited about 15/20 minutes for our drinks. The best coffee I've ever had from the pistachio bite that is on top to the coffee it was hands-down THE Best! My daughter ordered the rainbow cookie iced coffee. The first time I came here, they were closed early for the day, so I was disappointed, but I did try again. The second time, they were out of the rainbow cookie latte lol, so I got the spumoni. It was good, but I think the chocolate overpowered the other flavors. This time, I was able to get the rainbow cookie latte. The cold foam is delicious and the coffee is smooth. I personally would have liked extra flavoring for more of the rainbow cookie flavor, but it was still really good. The service was awesome-- the barista was knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt like they cared about their product and customers. If you want to guarantee to get a certain flavor, I would recommend going early in the day. The parking lot is pretty small, but I've never not been able to get a spot. Friendly and quick service. I came for beans and the man was helpful with suggestions. I opted for the most popular one, a medium roast, because it was the only one that was freshly roasted, the day before. The other bags ranged from a few weeks old to some being almost a year old. The americano I ordered was good, though a bit hot. But the cups they use for their hot drinks are atrocious. The first sip I took it leaked a bit so I let it cool and decided to rotate the lid assuming maybe it was just that spot. But looking underneath, the entire rim of the cup was soaked with coffee as the lid is ill fitting. Interesting type of place, not what I expected. Half is the coffee shop and half is the pizza shop, which was interesting. We got the rainbow cookie latte which we loved, the birthday cake latte which was amazing and I got the pumpkin tiramisu which was also delicious. They have some pre wrapped bakery goods and bagels. When you get up to the register they have fresher baked goods. I got the corn muffin which actually ended up being a lemon muffin that I didn't really like. Absolutely delicious! I wish I lived closer just so that I can get coffee here everyday lol. They have milk alternatives which is amazing and the staff is so sweet and extremely helpful. This is such a cute little place in Rumson that is definitely worth a visit! They recently opened at this location within Butlers Market, at a small coffee bar inside the building. The decor behind the coffee bar is adorable with the plants. All of their coffee options looked delicious, and it was hard to decide on just one drink. I went with the rainbow cookie dessert latte and it was so good. The almond and raspberry, with the cold foam and little rainbow cookie on top made for the perfect drink! It was sweet if that's your thing, but if not the coffee was delicious and just a plain latte would be perfect. The barista was great and super friendly! He made our drinks super well, and made the cups look super cute too! If you love their coffee, you can also get bags of their coffee in many different roasts with all different origins here. The service was amazing, the lady at the front was very kind and answered all the questions I had. I decided to get a brown sugar shaken espresso drink with tiramisu cold foam and it was delicious. The actual place is pretty small. There isn't any seating but the coffee shop itself is cute. My friend got a refresher which I didn't take a picture of but it tasted good. I also got a banana walnut muffin, which was not the best and sadly they don't heat up pastries, which would've probably made the muffin a lot better. My girlfriend and I came in today and ordered the pumpkin tiramisu latte , regular tiramisu latte and a slice of cheese pizza. We were told it would be 10-15 min wait which wasn't a problem. We waited almost 30 minutes which again wasn't a problem since they were busy and then we were told they were out of cheese pizza. So we opted for the pepperoni pizza the lady then proceeds to tell me that the pepperoni is usually more money "$1 extra" but she won't charge me this time. Like are you serious I didn't even want this slice I wanted cheese which you could have told me 30 minutes ago that you didn't have. The tiramisu coffee was good the pumpkin was just okay. It has officially become normal to pay $7 or $8 for a great custom latte coffee right now in Monmouth County. And if you are going to do it, I recommend doing it at Riposo. There are several other spots that are also cranking out some really good coffee, but I like Riposo the best even though it's actually the farthest drive for me. After having most of their coffee menu (the iced drinks) The rainbow latte is an absolute cannot miss beverage. The Irish cream is also one of the best specialty drinks I've ever had and I am hoping it makes their full time menu. The place is small and the coffee shop shares space with a pizzeria. Service has never been an issue for me personally (perhaps luckily) but I have gotten my order and walked out to see a pretty line that had formed behind me.
