Visited this shop back in March and again this month of June - Why is it always so busy tho!! lol (well because they do serve good food and coffee!) Luckily we are usually able to find street parking within walking distance. Inside is quite spacious with lots of seating. There is a good list of food options usually ranging from sandwiches to wraps, bowls and pastries. They even have ube coconut loaf which was also sweet and satisfying! we tried their sammys and chicken caesar wrap and they are delicious. The coffees are made well too with great seasonal flavors. Their peanut butter mocha is yummy! Another bonus for me is their family-friendly atmosphere with a baby-changing area in their restroom and the fact that there is a playground right across! Let me start by saying I am not usually a big doughnut fan but these are delicious. They are more cake like then chewy donuts. Yum. The vanilla frosted with sprinkles was especially enjoyable. Cinnamon sugar was good too- and I haven't tried the other flavors yet. Some are missing in the box due to everyone diving right in before I could get a picture. More than two years later and this is still one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Amazing oat milk lattes, a food menu with so many incredible breakfast and lunch bites, comfortable seating, good wifi... the list goes on. This trip, I got the veggie burrito and subbed real eggs in. It was INCREDIBLE and something I am going to try my hardest to recreate at home. It was like the perfect assembly of fall flavors and veggies. It had chickpeas and squash and kale and potatoes. And the sauce was delicious. I wish I could find it on their menu to give an accurate item list but maybe it was a special of the day because I am not seeing it there. If you see the veggie burrito, GET IT! As always, the space was comfortable and perfect for getting some work done on my laptop for an hour or so. I really enjoyed their latte. Love that they make their syrups in house too. We came here a few times and today I ordered their brekkie bowl with petit fillet. Not sure if the lady at the register couldn't find the right option but there was a long pause and when she checked me out it the receipt was saying sausage as my protein option. She was able to correct it with the kitchen as I noticed it quickly. And she also didn't ask about eggs but luckily they came out as I usually like it. Cappuccino with caramel shot - wildly good. Had two. My coffee rating: 9.5/10. This is going to be my go-to coffee spot. Also, the chipotle sammie had one of the best chipotle sauces I've had in my life (and I'm a big self proclaimed chipotle flavor connoisseur). A little pick me out before work. Now that the beach traffic has died down, you can see the place filled with locals working on their laptops. There was a ton of cozy seating both inside and outside. The whole place had a very light and airy feeling to it. The service was great for dining in, they brought out the food fast and it was hot and fresh. I definitely enjoyed the food more than the coffee. I was told the coffee here was amazing but I tried the cinnamon latte and cappuccino and it wasn't my favorite. The food on the other hand was amazing and I will be back for that breakfast burrito! Coffee here is good but kind of expensive. I like to try their specialty coffees too. The food is simple/healthy/ amazing and reasonably priced. My favorite is the protein brekkie bowl followed by the avocado toast. Their dairy free oat milk hot matcha is very nice. Easy to take out and very nice to stay as well - nice ambience, lots of live plants and pics of the beach and beach life on the walls One big family style table available to sit at. Highly recommend. Awesome experience this weekend! I've been to a lot of shops, but the coffee at this place and now the service brings me back each time I visit the area. As assumed would be the place was very busy this holiday weekend. But The barista I believe her name was Sophia went above and beyond barista duties. She made my order as particular and exactly as I wanted it and she did it with a smile on point and on time. The coffee here is really good & they have a lot of unique seasonal coffees. I would suggest following them on social media, to see their current speciality coffees. I came and tried their Girl Scout based drinks & ordered a Samoa, which was delicious! I also got an iced matcha, which at the time was part of a fundraiser for Ukraine, and was also delicious. They also have a limited food menu, and although I did not try anything here other than a pastry, the food did look good! The pastry was okay- moving forward I would try something from their menu instead. Pros: unique coffee Cons: limited street parking and a little pricey While their coffee is good, they can be a little pricey, in my opinion. Coffee is alright but the reason I'm not going back is because I paid $17 USD for a kids hot chocolate and a cup of yogurt. That's messed up. Drink prices are vaguely listed at the side of the menu at the front counter but the yogurt was unpriced in a case by the register so it felt very deceptive and in no universe can you justify that price in my opinion. A coffee buddy of mine recommended I stop by Offshore Coffee Roasters last week. So, the wife and I decided to pop in after the beach last Sunday. It was the end of the day, the store was empty, but man did those aromas just keep pulling us in. The shop looked great. It was clean, and the folks working were friendly and engaging. I picked up an iced coffee to-go and snagged a few bags of whole beans. The ice coffee was solid, so I had big expectations for my pour over the next morning with the High Tide blend. I grind whole beans and brew a fresh pour over every day. Lately, I've been using James Hoffman's V60 method, though, I utilize 22 grams of coffee (medium-coarse ground) to 360 grams water at 205 degrees. With that in mind, I went for it with the High Tide blend yesterday...and honestly, I am blown away with the results for this being a triple blend. The mix of natural and washed beans seems to be the absolute perfect combination. The nuttiness comes in at the end, which is ideal, and just subtle enough for my liking. As the coffee cools, the flavor profile changes, like most coffees....but damn, this is another level of deliciousness! Beyond the store and coffee being fantastic, the folks behind the counter were awesome.
