More than two years later and this is still one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing oat milk lattes, a food menu with so many incredible breakfast and lunch bites, comfortable seating, good wifi... the list goes on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This trip, I got the veggie burrito and subbed real eggs in. It was INCREDIBLE and something I am going to try my hardest to recreate at home. It was like the perfect assembly of fall flavors and veggies. It had chickpeas and squash and kale and potatoes. And the sauce was delicious. I wish I could find it on their menu to give an accurate item list but maybe it was a special of the day because I am not seeing it there. If you see the veggie burrito, GET IT! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As always, the space was comfortable and perfect for getting some work done on my laptop for an hour or so.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are looking for a good place to get lunch or coffee in the area, this is a must visit.

I really enjoyed their latte. Love that they make their syrups in house too. We came here a few times and today I ordered their brekkie bowl with petit fillet. Not sure if the lady at the register couldn't find the right option but there was a long pause and when she checked me out it the receipt was saying sausage as my protein option. She was able to correct it with the kitchen as I noticed it quickly. And she also didn't ask about eggs but luckily they came out as I usually like it. Overall, great coffee but a small hiccup with the food order.

Stopped at the place on our way to the beach. Super friendly staff, great selection of items. I had the iced chai latte and it was delicious. Prices were pretty reasonable. Nice location. Would love to return to enjoy a food item.

Cappuccino with caramel shot - wildly good. Had two. My coffee rating: 9.5/10. This is going to be my go-to coffee spot. Also, the chipotle sammie had one of the best chipotle sauces I've had in my life (and I'm a big self proclaimed chipotle flavor connoisseur). Brioche + soft eggs + micro greens + that chipotle sauce = coming back soon.

A little pick me out before work. Now that the beach traffic has died down, you can see the place filled with locals working on their laptops. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a ton of cozy seating both inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place had a very light and airy feeling to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great for dining in, they brought out the food fast and it was hot and fresh. I definitely enjoyed the food more than the coffee. I was told the coffee here was amazing but I tried the cinnamon latte and cappuccino and it wasn't my favorite. The food on the other hand was amazing and I will be back for that breakfast burrito! I will try looking at reviews and see what other coffee orders others had tried to see if there is anything to my liking!

Coffee here is good but kind of expensive. I like to try their specialty coffees too. The food is simple/healthy/ amazing and reasonably priced. My favorite is the protein brekkie bowl followed by the avocado toast. Their dairy free oat milk hot matcha is very nice. Easy to take out and very nice to stay as well - nice ambience, lots of live plants and pics of the beach and beach life on the walls One big family style table available to sit at. Highly recommend. Servers are always nice. Casey is really sweet.

Quick and friendly service and food that just can't be beat, (well, bagel guys next door is also super yum)! Brighton Ave is just full of amazing places to get food and Offshore is one of em! The prices are a bit hefty, but it's what you come to expect in this area nowadays. So be ready to spent $25 on coffee and a breakfast burrito. Always willing to spend whatever they charge on their coffee with cinnamon though, soooo good. P.S. OFFSHORE PLEASE BRING BACK THE CHICKEN CHIPOTLE SANDWICH!!!

Offshore Coffee is a local coffee spot in West Long Branch. The space here is really welcoming and a great spot to get some work done, with the bright colors and neon sign. The coffee here is really good & they have a lot of unique seasonal coffees. I would suggest following them on social media, to see their current speciality coffees. I came and tried their Girl Scout based drinks & ordered a Samoa, which was delicious! I also got an iced matcha, which at the time was part of a fundraiser for Ukraine, and was also delicious. They also have a limited food menu, and although I did not try anything here other than a pastry, the food did look good! The pastry was okay- moving forward I would try something from their menu instead. Pros: unique coffee Cons: limited street parking and a little pricey While their coffee is good, they can be a little pricey, in my opinion. Good for coffee once in awhile, but difficult for an everyday spot.

This place is amazing! They have the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its costumers. Internet connection is very fast and is unlimited as well. This place is indeed perfect for studying and chilling out. They have fresh pastries which are SOOOOO delicious. The barista was so friendly and most importantly attentive. My favorite part about offshore is The atmosphere inside the shop. It's a very vibrant and relaxing place. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Truly amazing! Thank you so much, guys. Also if you are looking for awesome merch they have plenty of cute hats and sweatshirts.(mens and women) I got a sweatshirt from them months ago and I still wear it. I wish a could keep this place a secret because it is THAT good. As a regular I've had almost every specialty latte and drink they are all outstanding. I'm no coffee connoisseur but I like the coffee. Breakfast burrito, ricotta jam toast are fantastic along with the protein brekkie and eggs and greens bowls. Couldn't speak more highly of this place. Be prepared to open your wallet, quality food and drinks comes at a premium. read more

Literally the best coffee this area has to offer. The espresso drinks are made on a level you'd expect to find in NY, the toasts are gorgeous and made with all fresh local ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. No pretentious coffee at Offshore Coffee! Skip Dunkin and get the good stuff only a few doors down! read more

Downright awesome. The food and Coffee here is fantastic, healthy, responsibly sourced, and delicious. There is something here for people of all ages, and the staff is very warm and inviting. Jack is extremely personable and wants to get to know Offshore's customers and help serve their needs. You can't go wrong with the overnight oats, avocado toast, and nitro cold brew. read more

Was in the area picking up Rook from the roastery (haha, sorry I'm a sucker for their apple pie flavor) anyways! Decided to stop in here for a cold brew for the drive home to Toms River. Inside of the shop is super cute, minimalistic and clean. I ordered the cold brew with milk and sugar. I love that liquid sugar is used instead of regular sugar. Cold brew was strong and smooth. I'll definitely be back to give my other go to, iced dirty chai a try. read more

Always a great cold brew and the nitro brew. Have not tried the pour over nor espresso yet. Love that they have almond and oat milk. Iced matcha latte wasn't too bad but could've been stirred better. Would love to see a vegan option on the food menu. Store is always clean with a nice ambiance; best they can do during covid. Staff is ALWAYS friendly, never had someone unwelcoming. Definitely recommend stopping in and supporting small business as opposed to stopping at dunkin. read more

That's my husband and I travel around the the United States. We always try to find different coffee, houses one way I do that is I get on my Yelp page and look up coffee houses, I came across the listing for the OFFSHORE COFFEE ROASTERS, why we were taking a side trip from our regular trip on the Jersey shore. The coffee was delicious. The weight staff was friendly and recommended to us their favor cup of coffee. If you were ever in the neighborhood, I would say stop by and have a cup. read more

Love this place! Great coffee and food as well. I personally always go for the avocado toast, and my wife gets the egg sammy with pork roll, but everything they serve here is very good. Superior coffee shop with superior coffee and baked goods in every sense of the word. My ONLY gripe is that I was refused a pour over because they were "getting slammed". Does a steak house refuse to cook a steak a certain way because they are getting slammed??? I come here fairly often and it is my go to beverage. I understand that a pour over is an individualized beverage and that it takes longer to prepare. I would have happily waited for it. Great businesses truly set themselves apart from others by being able to provide a superior product and being able to handle a crowd. I will be back for sure, but I guess I am just a bit disappointed. read more

Easily one of my favorite roasters/shops on the shore. Their coffee is very fragrant & sits very well on the palette. Their aesthetic is very simple & cohesive, with an earthy & mid century modern feel. Lastly, the staff there are extremely chill & welcoming. I've come across a lot of shops where the people feel cold/conceited ( coffee snobs ) but everyone from the baristas to the owners seemed super friendly & welcoming. I looked at their insta & their food looks really good too although I haven't had a chance to try it yet. 10/10 recommend my friends read more

Great coffee and incredible breakfast and lunch items! It's such a treat to have a local spot that has healthy food items that are elevated from your standard cafe fare. The nitro cold brew is smooth and perfect and the cafe itself is super cute. They do all of their roasting locally so I took a bag of beans and cold brew to go, which I've been enjoying at home. Can't say enough good things about this spot! read more

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a cup of coffee and a quick bite to eat before hitting the boards for some exercise! First let me say that in times of COVID, this place nailed all of the sanitation and safety guidelines, it was super clean and spaced out yet still inviting! I enjoyed the ever so satisfying Avocado toast while my husband chowed down on the breakfast burrito special, his direct quote..."This may seriously be the best breakfast wrap I've ever had!" We sipped on the Guatemalan blend and pumpkin spiced latte (AMAZING), and left feeling full but not gross! Fresh ingredients, amazing taste, 100% quality..well done boys, we will be back, for sure! read more

We did receive our food, but couldn't get a refill on my iced tea because our server never check in on us. I didn't see our actual server until I had completed my meal. I asked to see the manager. I explained all of this to the manager and she had zero empathy for our situation. Instead, she defended the ladies at the front and said the training server was one of her better servers. All she offered was a faint, half-hearted apology. I've worked as a server and can understand when someone is in the weeds. In this case, it was just horrible service, and a manager who didn't appear to understand what quality service is. The food was fine ... not sure if it is worth the hassle.

I stopped by the Long Branch location, located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is pretty small. No seating available - just a register to order, counter, pick-up area, and merchandise section. They only operate as a grab-and-go. I can see it being cramped during rush hours in the morning... luckily I came by on a weekday afternoon and was the only one there. Rook prides itself on having a small and simple menu. They only sell hot pour-over single origin coffee and cold brew. They picked a few things to perfect and do really well. So for espresso lovers, you're out of luck. BUT don't let that steer you away because their drinks are phenomenal. They use high quality, premium beans. The employee was extremely helpful with guiding me through the menu and giving me recommendations. I love that milks and sweeteners are available at no additional charge! They also have decaf and half caf options. I ordered a Vanilla Cold Brew (regular size $5.50) with milk and sugar. And let me tell you... it was love at first sip! It was probably the best cold brew I've ever had. Super smooth, rich, and creamy. The vanilla flavor wasn't overpowering and added just the right amount of sweetness. I definitely understand why so many people love their coffee. I wish there were more locations closer to North Jersey because I can see myself becoming a regular. If you can't visit a storefront, you can buy their cold brew concentrates or coffee beans online. Don't sleep on Rook!

My first visit to Offshore Coffee Roasters was one of the most pleasant experiences thus far from any coffee shop I've been to. The owners, Jack, Ross and Jay are great guys. Each of them work their hardest in order to provide a clean, peaceful environment for every individual who walks into their establishment. They uphold themselves with the utmost professionalism but also make people feel welcomed and invited. The coffee is the winning ticket for Offshore Coffee Roasters. Their qualified baristas are wonderful and easy to work with as they hand craft beautiful cappuccino's and latte's specially for you, the customer. Each artisan drink is obviously made with care and an attention to detail. The milk is consistently creamy and smooth, not over-steamed, while the espresso shot is well-balanced and has notes of wild berries and graham crackers. I'm continually blown away by the quality of their drinks. The food is phenomenal, as well. With new options always being rotated on the menu, I'm never bored with the "same old, same old." Their avocado toast is worth the price tag, as it comes out served on a wood block, on a huge freshly baked slab of toast and beautiful aromatics decorating the plate. If you go here, definitely don't miss out on the food. Weve been an on and off regulars at this coffee shop for a few years now. Had an issue with smoke from the kitchen on our last visit, but that was seemingly rectified. On our most recent visit, we realized that our best coffees have been prepared by one particular barista, Sophia. My husband noticed that whenever she makes our coffee or Matcha, it is superb! Shes like a chef, takes her time and pays attention to detail, rarely found at most coffee shops. We've go to several coffee shops and have not found such consistency. But we've noticed that she has been there awhile and we hope she never leaves:) or if she does, we will ask if she's gone to another shop and absolutely go get coffee there because she is that good and more importantly that consistent! read more
