I go to lots of coffee shops, including Starbucks. This location has gotten better in the last year (IMHO). Got a very friendly greeting by Barista. Gave us plenty of time to get our orders figured out. Asked if we could get our drinks in mugs, and that was no problem at all. We ordered a couple of London Fog Lattes (earl grey with steamed milk), with extra foam. They were made very good. And we split a piece of the pumpkin bread which was moist, and warmed up in the oven). The place was about half full. Most tables were having quite conversation, so it was easy for us to hear each other. I'm more of a fan of local boutique coffee shops, but this Starbucks did a good job. read more

I've only been here once but I really liked it because it wasn't crowded like most SBs and the crew was having fun. The manager allowed one of the baristas to carry on an interesting conversation with me, my latte was properly made and I got to use my own cup. The place was clean, the WiFi good, I got some work done and overall it was the most pleasant time I've had at an SB in a while. I'm guessing the pleasant atmosphere comes from the manager on duty, and I'm also going to surmise that there's been a recent regime change judging from the older lower YELP reviews. Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar, & Egg Sandwich: Starbucks is the only way to start the day for many of us in the brave new world of the 21st century. Just to give perspective, I am not one of those people. Don't get me wrong, I love a good cup of coffee. I just prefer brewing my own. I also tend to be on the frugal side and Starbucks has premium coffee for a premium price. Thing is, people give me a lot of gift cards, so I thought I would check out a breakfast sandwich. The main draws for me were the bacon slices and croissant bun as neither are a part of my regular diet (it's been over a year since I've had either). My favorite part was the soft, chewy, buttery croissant bun (slightly toasted on the underside), but the bacon was also cooked to perfection in my opinion (not too crispy/overcooked). While there was an abundance of bacon there could have been more cheddar cheese. Overall it was a solid tasting basic (nothing really special here) breakfast sandwich, but too pricey for fast food (sorry, that's what Starbucks is) for me to get it other than with gift cards. This is the closest Starbucks to the Milwaukee airport on the west side. As usual, what I ordered was what I got. When in a new town there are two distinct options: go to Starbucks and get exactly what you expect every time or go to a local coffee shop and enjoy the local vibe and maybe try some coffee beans that were roasted right there and brewed with love and care for your enjoyment. This is a prime Starbucks that will not disappoint you. It has capable baristas and enough tables to sit at and relax or work. Once again, Starbucks is spot on. read more

Sometimes you just don't want to find a new coffee and just want what is familiar. When I'm traveling, it's fun to experience new places, but there's also that need to have something that you know will be exactly how you like it with no surprises, which is what happened here. Plenty of parking spaces and a decent sized store with some outside seats. There is a drive-thru, but I went in and hung out for a time. If I'm passing through here again, I'd definitely stop here. read more

Ok, but not great, as far as Starbucks go. I'll admit that I spend a lot of time here because it's convenient. I can bring my computer and work for hours with Starbucks products or with outside food, which is nice. Two things that reduce this location's star count: They have one employee, who must be full time or close to full time because she is almost always here, whose voice is incredibly loud and annoying. And she always has something to say; the entire store can hear her. Second, getting the drink you ordered and in a reasonable amount of time has changed with a new manager. I've gotten the wrong drink more than once, have waited an extended period for a simple drink when it wasn't very busy, and been double charged. So overall this location is passable, but there certainly is room for improvement. read more

Conctenly close a lot earlier then the time of here usual hours. I would understand if they changed there holiday hours or whatnot and therefore need to close an hour early or something but It I just tried to open the door of this Starbucks at 8:15 and they were closed, on there regular hours it says they close at 9:30 on Sundays. I do not recommend this location. I normally go to Peets, but this is closer to my work, so Its more convenient. I was in the drive thru, and ordered 5 drinks, and once I got back, I realized all the drinks were wrong. If I could give zero stars to this location, I would. The rudest Starbucks baristas I have ever encountered! I'm a shift supervisor at the Starbucks in California vacationing in my mother's hometown of Milwaukee, and I was determined to buy us each a Starbucks "you are here" collection Wisconsin mug. The last store we were at only had one and I also really needed a coffee on this particularly stressful Saturday afternoon, so we stopped by this location (which has special meaning to me because it's across the street&around the corner from my late uncle Lyle's house). I was not greeted by the baristas, and after making an initial attempt at friendliness to the Barista on register, I warned her that my partner card is slightly demagnetized and that she may need to swipe it two or three times, but I also have photo ID and my partner numbers. She slides it once, looks at me, just stands there, then whispers to the drive thru barista, then tells me that I'm not in the system (which I know isn't true because I was just at another Starbucks the day before). She grabs another Barista named Tammi from the back room who looks at me and goes "gimme your store number and location" so I tell her it's 10*** in San Carlos, CA. She looks at me like I'm a Martian and then asks what my store manager's name is...I tell her but I also explain that my SM is on leave, so I also tell her the temporary SM's name, and then she asks me to list every shift supervisor at my store. She then snatches my card out of my hand and studies it, then demands my store's phone number. Mind you, I am 1300 miles away from my home store and this is a long distance number! So I give it to her just out of the sheer fact that I didn't want her to think I was lying just to save 30% off of a $13 bill. She takes the phone into the back and literally calls long distance and is in the backroom for, I kid you not, 9 minutes. Like seriously lady, this is Starbucks, it's not like I'm attempting to get into the CIA or white house here... She comes out and goes "yeah you work there. It's protocol. I have to do this. So what did you want? Was yours the grande?" So I politely tell her, no actually it was a venti but I won't be needing my order, I just didn't want you to think I was lying, I've worked for the company for three years. And she looks me up and down and goes "yeah well I've been here for 5" and put here hands on her hip almost as if she's trying to intimidate me. She doesn't put the mug back and makes me do it, despite the fact that I am clearly injured and walking with a cane. Then condescendingly yells as I walk out of the store " YEAH HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY!". I was in tears in embarrassment after being humiliated in front of all of these people on top of having the worst family vacation imaginable. All I wanted was a souvenir mug and a coffee to throw some cheer me and my mother's way and got treated like I was some con artist. My mom saw me visibly upset so after about fifteen minutes she walked back over and asked if she had the store managers business card, Tammi gave one to her but snarkily asked "ughh what is the problem?!" My mom told her she was rude and embarrassed me and she goes "that's just how I have to do things around here, have a nice day". I never treat customers or fellow partners like this. If anything I would give them a free partner beverage for the delay and the embarrassment. I would never ever go back to this store, and Tammi needs to chill on her attitude because she is absolutely not delivering the consistent legendary customer service that we are supposed to uphold nationwide. read more

Cashier was rude (snatched my phone out of my hand for payment without even asking) rushed through the order, and never responded to any statement of mine (thank you - no you're welcome) (have a nice day - complete silence ) - just rushed and hurried and harried.
