Let me start with the positives: I would give Plumb Line a solid 5 stars for ambience. It's such a cute and unique coffee shop that's perfect for studying or relaxing. The environment was great, and the staff is friendly. That part of the experience was genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't live up to the hype. We ordered drinks from the fall menu (The Cozy Sweater and Pumpkin) and both tasted more like watered-down black coffee with a hint of cream. There was hardly any flavor, and I couldn't taste the pumpkin at all. The bakery items were also a letdown. We both had cinnamon rolls, which were pre-wrapped and stale. You could tell they were probably delicious when freshly made, but that wasn't the case when we had them. I really loved the space and the service but the quality of the coffee and food really missed the mark. I wanted to love it but it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for.

So glad a local coffee shop is open early on a Sunday morning. lol Today, I enjoyed a Wesbrooks Mocha (my usual) and a warm blueberry muffin is just what I needed today ... felt rough this morning. This was the first Sunday that I felt like I was on the struggle bus all morning, on the way to church. . . AND after! I had the time to make a stop with still more time to sit and enjoy it in peace. (Yes, I'm a mama. IYKYK! Haha.) Everyone needs that time! I have been here numerous times and just forget to check in or take pix. No brewed coffee left and only cold brew or espressos were offered. Cold brew it is! Why not... it's only 46 degrees outside which is above freezing - not cold at all ... for some folks. This gal needs at least 60, no, I think 70 degrees outside to feel warm enough for cold coffee. Wah. Grabbed a couple mug ornaments to add to a collection and to give as a gift for my best friend. She loves them... and, they're so cute!! Wish they were on clearance like most after holiday stuff, but this is Starbucks! Lol Nearby is a splash pad and playground perfect for your littles to enjoy while you sip your coffee. The summers are more crowded, of course! We will be back for sure. I can still earn Stars here.
