This is such a cute coffee shop. It was a little cold inside but comfortable. The service is... well college aged students but they were friendly. The bummers: No Splenda or Stevia or ANY sugar substitutes. They said they were out of them. Out of ALL of them! This would probably be a better place to meet up with friends, then sit down to do work as the music was a bit loud. I will definitely be back.

I don't live in TN so I've only been here twice. (the two times I've visited TN) The coffee here is amazing! The service is good, this place has been busy both times I've gone but the wait wasn't too long. They sell the cutest stickers and they even have fresh eggs and other local things. A must stop place anytime I can visit.

Back at one of my favorite coffee shops!!! Amsterdam Coffee Shop continues to deliver the goods: amazing coffee, the kind that warms your soul, especially on a moody, rainy day. The ambiance? Immaculate. Cozy, relaxed, and effortlessly cool--feels like a little European escape tucked right into Clarksville. Even with the gloomy weather, the service was upbeat and on point. Friendly, fast, and full of personality. This spot doesn't miss. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, Amsterdam always feels like home with a better brew.

Ack! I forgot to submit this review! Meh. I was so excited to try this new cafe. Absolutely love the eclectic decor and furniture inside. It's a new build, but I would've believed if someone said it used to be an old dry-cleaning place or mechanic's shop! The large doors open up like a huge garage for an open air cafe. It was cold the day I went, so I missed that. Maybe I had high hopes, but I took one star away for NO PARKING in the lot or on the cafe premises. (I saw the small sign at the register, but missed the little sidewalk sign outside.) This cafe is perfect for those who live, work, or attend the university and want good coffee or tea. We were told to move our vehicles since the tow truck was there, if we had parked in the lot. Well, we tried the one street on the other side of the apartment building. It was full, so I ended up parking two streets up. Good luck finding (free) street parking. Made it back to my food and latte waiting for me. Sitting on the cozy chair or sofa is wonderful, but I needed a table to eat the waffle without making a mess. All the tables were taken though. Meh. Everything I ordered was delicious. I was pleased with the waffle, fresh blueberries, and dip-able dish with syrup. I don't know why I expected a compote of some kind, but wouldn't that be delightful. Dipping the waffles made it less messy to eat from the coffee table sitting in the upholstered chair. The one table (cute as of wooden repurposed desk) was available at the front, but it was too drafty for us. I missed their Holiday Night Market event with The Wren last Saturday ... but I heard the live music and coffee was amazing. Epic photos taken by my friend, but I could not join her as my little one was already asleep in bed. LOL If I lived/worked nearby or still attended APSU, this could easily be a regular hangout spot for me and some friends. However, it's not convenient to access nor does it have a drive-thru. When it's warm enough, sitting outside on their covered patio will be so nice! Go check them out. I loved my mocha & waffles!

Today is the second visit here. The coffee taste good, service good, inside looks nice and everything is great. My husband and I really like here.

This place is a home away from home. Their coffee is damn great. The food, pastry's, and seasonal items are 10/10. The atmosphere speaks for itself. All the love -Caleb

Such a wonderful place, I love coming in and doing a tea pot with a friend. It's perfect to do with a friend and there's so many teas to choose from. The workers there are so incredibly nice and its a very homey feeling cafe. I cannot recommend their business enough, especially considering all of their ingredients are sourced locally. That's a huge win in my book!

Love this place all-around! It's a great concept and they've mastered everything. The food is yummy, fresh, and sourced locally and their menu has a good variety. The coffee tastes like real quality coffee, not burnt and the matcha is good too. and the people who work here are always so sweet and seem genuinely happy to be there. Every piece of furniture inside makes the place so cozy, perfect place to read, get some work done, or just meet for lunch. This is the exact place Clarksville has needed since I moved here!

Look at that cappuccino! Good stuff!

Wow, yup, wow. I was really surprised at The Amsterdam. They have only been open since June of 23 but definitely worth a visit. While the menu for food is not huge, the coffee is really good. If you're in to frufru coffee, this is your place. However, if you like espresso or cappuccino or you just want a cup of plain old Joe, they have you covered. I picked up the Govs Wrap and I gotta say it's really good. That with a cappuccino for starters was worth it. Prices are not that big chain we all know of but they are reasonable for the specialty coffee. Now, if you're gonna be a while and you're a coffee junkie, like me, they also have the refillable drip coffee for a reasonable price. The seating is definitely got the coffee shop vibes and is comfortable. The crew that works the mornings are super friendly and willing to help you figure out what you want but also will leave you alone to decide on your own. The biggest draw back, which really I don't see the complaints, is the parking lot in front is actually owned by the apartment building that is right there. But really, that's small. It's worth the trip.

Super cute local spot to grab breakfast/lunch and coffee. We tried the chia pudding, avocado toast and some of their seasonal lattes. Overall it was a great experience but this place is popular and therefore gets pretty busy. You may have to wait for some time for your food to come out or to find a table for a larger party. They also sell some local goods near the counter such as soaps, lotions, etc.

When you have a drink made to order, you can taste the difference. Staff is amazing and serve with smile. My new fave coffee joint!

There is a poor woman working the counter by herself who clearly was not trained very well. It took 45 minutes for a coffee and two bagels - one of which didn't even bother to get toasted because we walked out. She is very overwhelmed, and the owners should work on retraining or putting more on shift on a Sunday. There were about two customers ahead of us and we had decided to stop in for a quick bite but it took nearly an hour before we just walked out, and the guy in front of us was in the same boat. The coffee was undrinkable and very expensive. It was one of the worst coffees I have ever had. I hate to leave such a scathing review, and honestly they're getting two stars because she was so apologetic and it's not her fault, but folks should be aware of the issues. The bagels were also stale and hard as rocks. We will not be back, which is a shame.

My friend and I wondered if this place was meant to appeal to a 13 year old birthday party or an alternate ladies night to groups of women who don't want to club anymore. The focus on alcohol points to the latter, but the preference for "I know someone who can do that," rather than professionals on the decor points to the former. The food. The food was awful. A charcuterie board filled will Colby jack cubes from Walmart and pizza-ready pepperoni still in the same position as pulled from the package. A cold sausage patty from the microwave. A cold hash brown patty from the microwave. Croissants from Costco. But it was served on a butcher block with a flower head? The service was good. They were nice and personable but inattentive to the food. Missing items weren't noticed. The owner didn't seem to want to open a restaurant but rather a space for instagram selfies. My only complaint(s) and the reason why I couldn't give five stars, my chicken and waffles were chicken wings but more like small wingettes (I'm a big man, so I was expecting a bigger portion), but the Belgian Waffles were really tasty! Also the Old Fashioned wasn't that good. But other than that, our Mimosa Tower did what it needed to do, and for $40 wasn't a bad price. Overall, really satisfied with this visit and I recommend anybody living in Clarksville or stopping through on the weekends, check out this place.
