Green Valley Crossing- Fairfield, Ca. 12:17pm Sunday Jan. 29, 2017 I had an issue with an order that I placed at this location. I ordered a Grande London Fog with soy, four raw sugars, and four pumps of vanilla. The barista that was helping me at the register wasn't really sure what that was. I kindly explained it was the same thing as a Earl Grey Latte. She finished entering the order and took my money for the transaction. I went to wait for my order and noticed that a few people that ordered after me were getting their drinks, and going. No worries I had time, I thought... I then noticed that my drink cup was sitting on the back counter waiting for the tea bags and the other add-ins to be put in. I continued to wait and eventually the Barista making the drinks grabbed my cup and started working on my order. They were super busy so I didn't mind waiting patiently. As the Barista was finishing making my drink I happened to notice that the Pitcher that she was using said milk. So I kindly asked her whether she had made the drink with Soy Milk, she kindly said no, looked at the cup, and said that Soy wasn't listed on the order. (My Barista who keyed the order originally must not have put soy in, as this Starbucks has the labels that are printed and put on the cups.) NO Problem, as the Barista offered to make me another as quickly as she could. After she remade the drink I noticed that there was no Vanilla in this Remake. I ask the other Barista behind the bar to add 4 pumps of Vanilla, he finished what he was doing and politely did just that, and thanked me for my patients. I thanked him and went on my way home. After getting home I thought I might add a bit more sugar to my drink and did just that. Although as I stirred my drink I notice something swirling around in the cup. It was a small flake of what I presumed to be tea leaf from the Earl Grey tea bags that I had discarded in the Green Valley Crossing Location. As I continued to stir there were more bits. So I began to fish them out only to find that they weren't Earl Grey tea leafs. There was at least 4-6 large, mint or basil leaves in the Grande size cup. I took photo's. Normally I wouldn't search for customer service links, or forms to express my disappointment. But this has become a frequent recurrence, of disappointing Visits to different Starbucks locations. I happen to be part of Starbucks rewards program, and have been for many years now. I enjoy the Starbucks experience and products. However I simply cannot let this experience and the seemingly recent string of inconsistent orders go unmentioned. Especially at and average cost of $4.75 per instance. It bears mentioning that all the employees at this location were super nice and super polite, which I always appreciate. read more

Their breakfast sandwiches are about the only thing I will spend money on...they are slightly better than McDonalds but closer to where I shop. I really don't like their drinks and always feel I'm being shamed when I don't order one. read more

Sometimes paying for convenience sucks, but its easy. I'm not sure if keeping up my gold membership at this paricular location is worth it....but then again, its easy. I live in the area and have been coming to this location for almost 4 years, more so now, because I NEED MY TRIPLE SHOT! The service isn't great unless you're a regular who sits next to FF Police every 6am in the morning or if you are plainly a daily patron. Me, I come often enough to keep my gold membership until 2017. I dont expect stellar service at 6 AM, but a nice friendly smile followed with good morning would help. It would even be better if they served consistently good lattes, but even at that, its mediocre at best. I have to admit though...amongst the sad sally's and debbie downers, there is one sparkling star. I dont know his name and he isnt there most times, but when he is, i feel welcomed and his barista game is pretty good too. Super convenient location for your coffee fix! Grab a coffee before your Costco run. This location provides great customer service and always gets my orders right. They do get busy just any other Starbucks but this one in particular has a lot of "downtime" at certain times in the day. You can find people studying here usually so it creates for a nice quiet atmosphere. read more

I am a Starbucks gold member, and slightly obsessed, so my mother and I decided to stop at this Starbucks on our road trip. There was no one in line when I came in and I ordered a muffin for my mother and a frappuccino for myself. The first problem was that the service was incredibly slow. My mom went to the bathroom after we ordered while I stayed to get the drink, and then I went and she stayed. We ended up having to wait for several minutes after both of our bathroom breaks which seems ridiculous to me given that there was no one else in line. The second issue I had was that my drink was awfully icy, like eating shaved ice. Compared to other frappuccinos I have had in the past at different Starbucks locations, this one was not my favorite. Update: I went a second time on my way to San Francisco. The service was a lot faster this time, although it was not busy when I came in. I did use the restroom and it was very dirty. read more

I come here every morning when I have clinic. While busy, they are super fast and friendly. One time, some lady took my drink and they staff had no qualms making me another one. So I just walked out of this Starbucks I was waiting in line with my wife and two kids!! This is my favorite Starbucks place. The staff here are really friendly. They would smile and greet you at the register with a smile. That may not be a lot but many places just make you seem like you are bothering them. Also every Starbucks makes the drinks taste differently. I especially prefer the drinks made here, the drinks taste perfect. After you've tasted it your standards rise and the other places can't match up to your taste. read more

Barista Linzee very rude !!! I will go to the sb on central way before returning to this location...went in for happy hour and yes it was a little busy but a customer forgot to ask for soy and she asked Linzee could she switch to soy instead ...the drink wasn't even made yet and she coped an attitude abt the change...umm hello this happens and the place was filthy too. This Starbucks is great! Usually great customer service and always busy. My favorite go to drinks are Vanilla Latte and the Vanilla Macchiato. DEF try those out. This coffee shop is nestled at a good location where there is a bank, plenty of restaurants, and Costco! Also this location is only 5mins from another Starbucks but the service here is obviously and notably superior. The only complaint I would have about this place is that it is a bit small, and when people are trying to grab their drinks, they crowd around the counter and it's hard to squeeze by and get in and out. Basically the front has 4 tables and the condiment stand and then it's a narrow hall with booths on the left side and the counter and cashier on the right. I come to this Starbucks every other Monday while my husband works at his companies Fairfield office. I spend most of the day there working and drinking coffee. The staff are really friendly, and start to remember you quickly. The atmosphere is good, and a lot of others are there working and using the wifi too. It's definitely one of the nicer and cleaner Starbucks in the Fairfield area, I definitely recommend it. Bonus: it's in a really big shopping center with a Costco, Safeway and TJ Maxx! read more

I visit the drive thru every once in a while. I was there with my daughter yesterday and we were both blown away at how incredibly rude the girl Jessica at the drive thru window was. I haven't seen her there before. She wouldn't say thank you or even acknowledge me...just basically took my cash and gave me my order. Choose this place to have a meeting with a Corporate personnel. Found out a bit too late this is not an ideal location upon entering the establishment due to employees having obvious bad attitudes the second we walked up to the counter. No greeting or friendly smiles. Place was nearly empty, No chance to just walk away because we were in a meeting went ahead and placed our Orders for two Venti Caramel Frappuccino's. Waited for the lady to take our names, but it never happened. So, we figured since its empty they'd bring it to us. After 17 minutes of waiting I got up and approached the Gentleman behind a glass counter and he just ignored me, turned around and walked away. I noticed two orders on the counter and asked cashier if those were our orders and said she does not know. So, I called out again to the same gentleman at which time he finally acknowledged me, showed him my receipt and sure enough those were my wife and I's drinks that had been sitting there for a while and had already begun to melt. We were so upset that they had no courtesy to approach us since they weren't respectful enough to ask our names and let us know they were finished. We were not able to raise concern about their bad service right away because of our current meeting with corporate so, I figured this issue needed to be posted here on yelp. This was on February 24, 2018 around 5:30pm. These employees are not friendly to put it mildly. My wife and I regretted that we chose this place. Hope others will have a different and better experience. We're definitely NOT a returning customer! read more
