I very rarely go to Starbucks in general - super overpriced for what it's worth. However, occasionally I'll venture out to this particular Starbucks because of the atmosphere. It's a great place to catch up with a friend or pull out my work, except during rush hour. In this case, I came here on a Sunday afternoon before closing time. Overall, super chill and relaxed. The baristas were all super friendly and a joy to talk to (we geeked out a bit about video games). And the general vibe in the building is airy and welcoming. The AC was blasting though, so make sure you order something hot or bring a jacket if you plan on staying a while. read more

This location is so radically inconsistent with being open, closed, drive-thru only, etc it's maddening!!! I don't know what's wrong with the management there but I used to be a DAILY customer and now I avoid it at all costs. This morning I tried to run in for coffee on my way to work (on a Sunday morning) because the drive thru line was to the main road. I parked only to find out the cafe is closed so once again, it's drive thru only. It's a shame because there are a couple of stellar employees there but something is really wrong with how this place is managed. read more

I like Starbucks. I have one of those gold cards that I keep reloading. I don't like this Starbucks. I thought I would stop here for a quick cup of dark roast. I spent 20 minutes in line at the drive through. Obviously it depends a lot of who is ahead of you and how well staffed they are. The folks who patronized the drive through took up both lanes that lead to the back for the window and the parking lot. I've now been here twice for afternoon work sessions. It's spacious, there's a decent-sized parking lot, and the wifi seems to work pretty well. Service was friendly, but at the same time, they got my drink wrong (I asked whether they only had white chocolate iced mocha, or whether they had regular iced mocha--and very definitely asked for the latter, but I think asking about the former confused them). Also, floors could use a bit of a sweep, and tables--at least in some cases--could use a wipe. I understand sometimes a place gets busy and this isn't always possible, but once the crowd dies down, that's something that should happen. Still, it's a generally comfortable environment with lots of plugs; it could just use a bit more curation (and cleaning). All in all, though, this is a solid option in an area without any independent coffee shops open past last afternoon, and I'd certainly return as needed. read more

I frequent this Starbucks almost every morning and I can't believe it took this long for me to write a review! This location is hit or miss and it doesn't really help that their parking lot and drive thru are always a disaster. This morning I ordered my usual (almond milk cappuccino w/cinnamon powder on top) and a marshmallow treat before leaving my house which is 2 miles away and will take me 5 - 7 minutes to get there depending on how much traffic is on Rt 100 already. I was a little bummed this morning because my drink and food weren't waiting for me when I got there. The barista finished making my drink about three minutes after I arrived but didn't put my food order up. He gladly got it for me after I asked him about it and he said that their food tickets weren't printing this morning. I gave four stars because the barista was very kind and my drink and food tasted great! And they even put the cinnamon powder on top of the foam just how I like it. read more

I'm from out of town so visit this Starbucks location infrequently. Typically early in the morning, as the relatives I visit don't do coffee. But consistently, over all my visits, the coffee is lukewarm and the egg bites are barely heated. With such a meal costing over $8, you'd think they'd get it right! And being in the premium coffee business, serving the coffee hot should be SOP. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The inside is closed often but you're still able to order for pickup INSIDE, it makes no sense. They're also often out of items, save yourself the time and just go to the Starbucks in target a few minutes away. read more

I'm a huge Starbucks fan and have come to this starbucks 3-4 times a week on average for about 4 months now. They keep the place nice and clean but aren't as personable at this one as I've experienced in other starbucks stores. I'd usually be called by name by now and my drink would have been memorized. My drinks are always great as usual though. My biggest thing is that it's not as cozy here. I'd like to see some couch chairs in the near future. Starbucks is usually my go-to. But not when I'm in Exton. The drive-thru is always at least a 10-15 minute process and inside is sometimes a bit quicker but not much. Plus the parking lot is very difficult to navigate through with the long drive-thru lines. Save yourself the trouble. Mobile orders aren't any quicker. You'll still be wit 15 minutes +. I decided 4 shots would suffice for an afternoon pick me up but, as far as flavors, I was undecided. The barista asked me what flavors I liked and I replied "white chocolate" and "butterscotch." Ok...... First off I absolutely love Starbucks. I spend a lot on it. Well I went for an interview after the one manager said YES we are hiring. So I put my application in right away. I called the next day and I was set up with an interview. I have over 25 yrs retail and food service. And have been state certified on customer service. Well it seemed the interview went well. But I had my doubts on the other manager with the manager at the store. I could tell she was not having it. Not sure why??? I love people. I have great customer service skills. I even told them when I came in that the workers were awesome. And of course I love coffee. And I would be delighted to work for the company. I was actually hired at another Starbucks then covid hit. Well they told me I would hear back the next day well it never happened. A week later no word. After they told me either way they would let me know. Needless to say they lost a wonderful employee that works hard and would have been a great worker. And well not even getting back to me. WOW wonderful professional behavior. I park at the parking lot. I know this Starbucks is slower because there are not many Starbucks around Exton ( unlike downtown Philadelphia where has Starbucks all over the corner ). They make good and meets Starbucks coffees. Only thing that I wish to see is that a clean cup when I receive my order at the counter. Always I found some coffee spill on the lid or on the cup. It's a Starbucks with a drive thru which is nice and they have a nice seating area inside as well. The downside is that the parking lot is very cramped and tough to find parking and the service is disgustingly slow. On a number of occasions I have waited for 20 minutes to get my drink and then they even made it wrong. If they figure out the service issues I would rate this a 4 or 5 stars. read more

A Starbucks with a drive thru window. Get your buzz on the run, how convenient! I actually haven't used the drive thru yet though, haha. You see, the windows of my truck are small so I have this horrifying image of me clipping the top of the cup on my window frame and then watching in slow motion as the cup drops square onto my lap with the lid popping off on impact! What a nightmare... so yeah, I use the parking lot (which is in the back of the store by the way) and I walk my butt inside. (there's an entrance facing the back parking lot too, so no, you don't have to walk all the way around to the front to get inside, jeeze don't be so negative!). Be careful walking in though! Those speedy, "buzz on the run" types with their big car windows could easily run you down as you cross their path toward the door. There is some outdoor seating out front which is nice, I think there are umbrellas at the tables too, but I'm not certain because I never stick around long enough to notice. Yes of course there is free wifi and tables to hang out inside, they have baked goods and a retail section full of strangely shaped mugs, coffee and other coffee related stuffs. (what Starbucks doesn't have this stuff? None? Oh ok, then why did I bother mentioning it? Who knows.) I'm not going to comment on the quality of the coffee vs other non-Starbucks shops, etc, etc, etc because I'm only reviewing the location and frankly you probably don't care because it's a Starbucks, and you already have your own opinion on that so why should I waste my breath? err... fingers? When I worked briefly for Starbucks (albeit it was a decade ago) my manager made one worker a shift wear a timer that'd go off every 10 minutes to remind us to do a sweep of the seating area to keep it tidy. As Starbucks go, this has all the usual offerings. However, it is best appreciated for its drive-thru and outdoor seating rather than as a relaxing place to sit and work. On a recent visit the staff behaved like a group of teenagers at a party and did not cultivate a friendly or calm atmosphere. For a more relaxing atmosphere with warm and friendly staff, the Berwyn/Devon or Paoli locations are recommended. read more

From what I've been told, this is one of the highest grossing Starbucks outside of Philly. For as busy as they are they can have a lack of urgency and an attitude of boredom but typically have their act together and getting a drink is usually a smooth process. Attractive and comfortable inside. That being said, I have been going here twice a day since I moved here six months ago and not once has an employee ever used my name, which is a major faux pas in Starbucks culture. Parking can be a challenge. By the time you get all of the employees parking their cars it leaves a few spaces for customers thus I end up going through the drive through more than I would like which itself can be "challenged" at times. read more
