I'm not in the business of baking and I don't like to assume, but I'm SURE that this cinnamon bun was not "fresh out of the oven". Ovens are hot, right? This was cold. If you're stuck wondering if you should give this place a try, I would recommend staying home, putting some coffee grounds in a small Amazon box and running some hot water over it to simulate the Collective Coffee experience. When I first walked in it was not what I expected, I was expecting a market with coffee in bulk containers and that did the coffee roasting for show. This place is an actual business that roast coffee and sells it to the local shops. So they only had bags of beans on display. The benefit to this is you get high quality beans with numerous verities to choose from. The lady that helped us was super friendly and knowledgeable, I got the feeling that she could talk about coffee all day and she gave some great recommendations. The smell of this place is amazing, it is truly a coffee lovers delight in there. The price for the beans was also very good for the quality that you are getting. If you buy 2 or more bags it's $11 dollars a bag. Overall this is my new go to place for when I am looking for gourmet coffee beans.

When entering, I came during a slow period before the rush came shortly thereafter around 9:30am. Not only were staff friendly with me during the slow time, knowledgeable to point me in the direction for coffee, and efficient making the coffee; they were equally the same energy when it became busy.
