It's Starbucks. The beverages are very consistent. You can certainly get a little busy, especially if you use the drive-through, which I do not. I prefer to go inside. Lately I've been ordering on the app so I don't have to wait and my drink is usually ready when I get there. My new drink is the flat white. It has the right ratio of espresso and steamed milk for me. Much better than a latte. They have a very small parking lot and it's at a busy intersection. read more

I'm constantly disappointed with this store. I placed an online order for a caramel ribbon crunch frap made with oat milk, a single shot, and no whip cream. And it wasn't wade with espresso, oat milk, and my drink had whip cream. After spending over $8 and still receiving the wrong drink, I will not be returning to this location. read more

They never have anything in stock. They also are very slow and a very messy store. When I went there and ordered I didn't say a size so they assumed I wanted a small. Yesterday (Sept. 14, 2020) was my first visit to this Starbucks location. From the very first contact at the speaker box in drive through I could hear the warm and welcoming voice of the order taker. At the window another warm and welcoming employee. Here's the back story: I drove 1.5 hours to bring my daughter, who was sick with a confirmed case of Covid-19, groceries and of course her favorite Starbucks coffee. I happened to mention this to the ladies working and they were so impressed that I would do that for my daughter. They had asked me if I wanted to get a beverage as well and I told them that I would be dropping the groceries and coffee off at my daughter's door and that I would be coming back through for my drink to keep me awake for the 1.5 hour drive back home. When I got to the window they gave me a $4.00 gift card for my drink when I came back through for being such a good mom. Later, after dropping groceries and coffee off to my daughter, I did in fact come back to this location to get my drink for the road home. I recognized the voice at the order box and told her that I was the "covid mom" and she laughed and asked how my daughter was doing. My heart was full that she genuinely wanted to know. I got to the window to take my order and the other employee also asked how my daughter was doing. Such caring employees. As I took my drink they handed me a cheese danish for the trip home and told me to stay safe and healthy. My heart was so full of gratitude. These ladies made me feel like I was their friend and that I was important to them, not just as a customer. Their level of true customer service is the BEST I have ever gotten at a Starbucks. They impressed me so much that I've been telling everyone about my experience there. These are the kind of staff members you want other employees to model. I am beyond impressed and vow that anytime I am in the Eau Claire area I WILL make sure to stop and order a delicious coffee from the best Starbucks I have ever, in my whole life, been too. Thank you for your kindness, your sincere concern for my daughter, and for making a tired and worried mama feel a little better. read more

Are you looking for Eau Claire coffee? Head down the hill. You're so much better off spending your money at a local place. Local places use fresher, less preserved ingredients and make better coffees and espresso drinks. This location is lacking on haste. I purposely avoid going here because the location across town can get my order ready in half the amount of time it takes to wait for my drink. There is some opportunity here to set expectations for getting your customers in and out in a timely manner. I can sympathize with staff shortages and other unexpected hiccups throwing a wrench in workflow for a week or two, but this store is consistently too slow. You have a great location (even though it is a tight squeeze) so you could be doing double the numbers if you were to create some quicker product times. read more

A really nice little store... Always been accurate with my drinks.. My only complaint is I absolutely hate their parking lot... If you're going on 53 it's fine... but turning out the back of the lot can be a mess... and limited parking... Other than that, I've gotten excellent service in store as well as when I order from the application... This is the Starbucks I always go to in town.. and they haven't let me down... The last 2 times I have been to this Starbucks they have gotten my order wrong. How hard is it to make a black ice tea with no water no sweetener and light ice? The first time I got a iced coffee and I had to go into the store to get it corrected, not one sorry or anything. The second time again wrong...got a green tea and again had to park ( in the smallest lot ever) and go into the store to get is corrected. Not a sorry or anything again. I will not be going to this store again. Think I will drive to Dunkin Donuts and get my iced tea. Dunkin Donuts has better tea anyway. Was just going to Starbucks because it is closer to my work. I've been here a couple of times. the snack foods are good, & the beverages are ok. but the last two times i was there, there were these parents and their child was with them just crying and screaming and the parents were just like hanging out like it was nothing. the child's behavior was very distracting to not only me but to all the others there, some who were trying to work on their computers. the employees working didn't even ask them politely to calm their child or leave. it was very rude and unprofessional. i left because i just couldn't take such immaturity any longer. the other time i was there, the employees were just goofing off and talking "funny" to the people in the drive thru which i found unprofitable as well.. one of the girls working there appeared to be "playing with helium" balloons and thus laughing at her own voice as it changed pitch. very bad and not ok. i feel like Starbucks is slacking off nowadays. i now go to Caribou Coffee down the road which is overall, 100% better with everything. please improve your service here. its not cool. read more
