The Honey Pearl Cafe - Pistachio Matcha Tea Latte (Almond Milk)

We agreed that the shop is consistent in both taste and friendly service. The donut and boba shop is located on the corner of the small shopping plaza. Inside, there's a handful of tables and chairs for pairs. It's cute with neutral colors and some small signs. Ordering is straightforward--read the menu, look at the donuts, order at the register, and wait for your name to be called. We came right at the opening and there were still groups ahead of us! It wasn't a long wait, but with large groups and minimal staff, it can take time for drinks since everything is made to order. The workers were kind and helpful. As a tea and boba lover, I always have to stop in for my fix. My Grandma is partial to their donuts. This go around we got a Pistachio Matcha Tea Latte with Almond Milk and a Manguava Shaken Fruit Tea with Lychee Jelly to drink. The pistachio matcha was heavy on the pistachio and light on the matcha. My Grandma was pleasantly surprised. I got my fruit tea with 25% sweetness and found that the jelly was pretty sweet but the actual guava tasted nonexistent and the mango a bit diluted. I'd stick to the milk teas. To eat, we got a Pistachio, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Churro Mochi Donut. The donuts were fresh and chewy. Though the Honey Pearl in Reedley will always be my go-to, I'm happy we were able to support their location in Dinuba. It's a bit hidden on the corner but parking is ample in the shopping plaza. There are flavors to satisfy all taste buds and we both will continue to be loyal customers!

I chose the purple swirl (has Ube in it ) standard with brown sugar boba. It was sweet enough. There is ample parking and easy to find. The place is clean. I will definitely return.

What we found was the family restaurant of your dreams. This is a husband-and-wife-run spot (M & J), former IHOP veterans who quit to open something far better. Meaning fresh ingredients, homemade recipes, everything cooked from scratch with real love. They have eight kids who help run the restaurant, and from the second you walk in, you feel that this place runs on heart. The walls say things like "You are family here" and "We create memories & meals." The Wi-Fi password is literally "ThankYou." There are sticker machines, Pokémon cards, and Milky Way bars by the register. It's wholesome in the way that makes your nervous system relax. The hospitality is. Michele will call you sweetie and somehow never let your cup dip below half full. It's the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely cared for, not rushed or transactional. The menu is a treasure chest. We loved it so much we stopped on the way up and made explicit effort to come back on the way down. We ordered the country fried steak, steak omelet, chorizo omelet, and a breakfast sandwich... every single thing was incredible. Do not miss: * Biscuits and gravy (mandatory) * Chocolate chip pancakes * Country potatoes with bell peppers and onions (to die for) * House-made salsa -- genuinely some of the best I've ever had This place is the reason you take road trips the long way. If you're heading anywhere nearby, go here. Seriously.
