A true treat indeed. From the hot latte to the extremely friendly service it was a pleasure. I ordered my favorite caramel almond milk latte. It was a delight. Carefully mixed and steamed to perfection. The barista was very pleasant. I was offered several different pastries. I decided to get a piece of cake to enjoy as a treat later after dinner. The ultimate of chains, I have the app and the first time I ordered to pick up, in the drive-thru, they messed up. I didn't go back as I was on my way to an appointment. The next time, I checked and they had done the same thing, have it back and they corrected. After that no issues. This is my favorite Starbucks location! They truly have the best staff. They're very attentive and quick to take your order. They have plenty of places to sit. Even have tables outside with umbrellas for shade. The only drawback is that the parking can get full at times. But the coffee is worth it. read more

This is my Starbucks. I frequent there 1-3 times a day, every day. Im an addict. Overall, this place is wonderful. They're always helpful except every once in a while. They go through young employees a lot. The new, young ones are always rude. The ones who have been there the longest are always the best. I choose to judge them over the fresh, immature ones. I moved to Louisiana from Arizona and only stayed for about 4 months because Louisiana basically sucks. I've been to several Starbucks in Baton Rouge and mandeville and several in between. Every single freaking one of them has been slower than slow, with an apathetic staff who has no idea about customer service, just like everyone else in those cities. Now I've worked retail my entire adult life and I know it sucks. I don't have high expectations, I don't want anyone to kiss my ass. A "hi how are you" or perhaps a semblance of giving a rats ass would be nice. Or maybe make a damn ice coffee in less than 5 minutes, it's just coffee and ice. It's not that hard. Or maybe get a brownie quicker. I never ask for it warmed up. So by now you're wondering why the heck there's a 5 star rating on this place? But for some weird reason THIS STARBUCKS had super friendly people working for them. Not so friendly it was annoying mind you, but genuinely polite and helpful. The drive thru and walk in service was always fast. Always. I ended up driving almost an hour to get there (I live in Clinton) several times a week just to write on my laptop because it was the only good Starbucks in town. I don't know what's up with this place but these people are awesome. They deserve all your tips and business. read more

Love love love this Starbucks! The customer service is great most of the time. The only time it hasn't been quick and super positive was maybe once or twice when they seemed very understaffed and busy. That's totally understandable though! 9 out of 10 times it's a super pleasant experience. And my drinks are always made perfectly, even the ones that can be a little complicated with all my substitutions like sugar free syrup and almond milk. 5 stars! read more

The lattes here are very good. The place was pretty clean. The flavor makes you want to keep drinking more and more of it almost to the point where I want to go back to get a second one. Also the cake pops are a very good treat. My kids absolutely love them as much as I do. read more

I frequent Starbucks because I can order from my app and not have to wait in long lines. Today I placed my order and was delayed getting to the store so I figure well my iced beverages may be iced done. However, one was just being placed in the mobile order zone and I had to ask them to make the other. One barista seemed to busy introducing a fellow barista to her brother. Not that I have an issue with matchmaking but could you please accurately make my coffee and tea correctly first. The coffee tasted more like 90%milk and syrup. The tea was supposed to be a white tea and lemonade. I'm really not sure what they were trying to accomplish. I will not be returning to this location. read more
