Out of everything I ordered, my favorites were definitely the Max's Cake and the avocado toast. Both were really good and tasty. I'd actually come back to try two other items I was saw on the menu. The baristas were sooooo sweet, friendly, and informative. The ambiance was also spacious, with high ceilings, and plenty of room to move around without feeling crowded. I like to check out the rotating specials, which often are interesting and different. Last time I visited they were featuring honey lavender drinks, which make a most excellent velvet ice. They always have some nice baked goods on hand, from savory to sweet. There are also some other nice snacks on hand. My personal favorite is the dark chocolate covered espresso beans! The interior is cozy, and has a great view of the outdoors. There is a small courtyard outside with outdoor tables, but I think if one wants to be outdoors the Shaw Center Courtyard or Lafayette Park are the places to be.
