I've never gone to a store and been ignored. we were stopping there before going to the big E at 7:30am On a Saturda.My family and I (5) of us were the only ones there. We stood at the counter for about 5 mins. the employees completely ignored us. there was about 5 or 6 employees working. not one said hello, I'll be with you in a minute, nothing, no eye contact. 2 of them actually stood right in front of me and had a conversation with eachother and then walked away. I placed an order around 20 minutes in advance to receiving my drinks. I watched my drink sit on the mastrena with a dead shot in it for over 5 minutes, and they didn't bother to mix the shot with the syrup. Not only did the barista not call out my drink when it was pushed on the counter, but my drink was bitter. I asked for a remake, and the barista who formerly made my drink took it with attitude, remade it (again with a dead, bitter shot and nonmixed syrup) and silently pushed it out once done again. As a barista, I may not enjoy my job a majority of the time, but I produce these drinks with the customer in mind. Never would I be so carefree over an overpriced $8 latte. Great location but you need to drive up the steep ramp to get here. Friendly and quick service in the afternoon after bowling in the area. Pretty spacious and clean location. Besides being hungry (snack time!) and need to complete a dash challenge, it's Starbucks time. We were wondering where the Starbucks was located since it was a little off the main Street behind a building. The building is a stand-alone building. This Starbucks has a parking lot and drive-thru. We decided to go in since we had time. It was clean and spacious space. I ordered my item (a cookie). Uh oh - The store ran out of cookies so they apologize and offer a substitute. Not a problem. Now to look for a substitute. Inquired if there are any loaf bread, the server said yes - banana nut bread. They warmed up the bread at my request. It was delivered split in half...never had that happen...not a big deal. There are plenty of seats inside and outside (when it's warmer). Nice place and people. read more

My family and I have frequently visited this Starbucks location. I went to pick up an order on 1/26/25. I entered the store at 4:36 and didn't receive my drinks until about 5 o clock. Having worked in fast food for a few years, I have grown to be very patient and understanding when food may take a little while. However, with the drive thru empty and me being the only one in the dining room, I find it absurd that 3 drinks take 30 minutes to make. I was watching the four workers there as some were running in and out, all of them are joking around and at least 3 of them read my order tickets, made eye contact with me, and continued to ignore me. After waiting ridiculously long, they slide the drinks over and walk away, barely giving me enough to thank them (if I wanted to, which I didn't) or even ask for a tray. After asking for a tray I was told they were all out. Another absurd thing, why does a coffee shop so frequently run out of trays? I was one person struggling to carry 3 drinks on a flimsy 2 cup tray. This experience will be the reason I no longer visit this Starbucks location as it seems these workers might have missed a few of their customer service training sessions. read more

My go to coffee/bathroom stop on my weekly drive to NY/NJ. Easy access off I84. But there is no on ramp here so getting back on the highway can be a pain. Bathrooms are clean. Seating is lacking, but with the limited seating, over half is counter height, so I rather enjoy standing after having been in the car for hours. They actually have some of the best looking baristas! Kind of typical starbucks but lacking better seating. The best part about my visit was the huge parking lot but inside the store is large with seating lacking. I just didn't like the layout of the seating with one huge table with seats around it kind of like when you visit grandma and sit around the dinner table. I would have preferred seeing a dozen small tables with seats around those like you typically see at starbucks. They also only had 3 small single seat couches. I'm from NYC so yea I'm spoiled with the idea I can walk into a Starbucks and sit in a comfy sofa while sipping my $8 coffee. Not a terrible location but not one I'd consider a favorite. read more

Really aggravating when you ask for coconut milk because your allergic to dairy, and the girl repeats the order to you but doesn't put it into the computer. I didn't realize until half way home. I know mistakes happen but it wasn't busy at all, and that is something that is important due to lactose intolerances etc. A huge waste of money on top of it. read more

Second time I'm sitting in drive threw for 25 mins and I finally get to order and the Starbucks closes. However the person in front of me gets to order. Since this is the second time for this to happen, I ask the girl why don't you let us know by closing off the last car. This way people aren't wasting their time by sitting there for over 20mins. Absolutely love this location! The employees are always upbeat, they know me by name, and some know my order. They're almost always busy but their people are always hard at work. Convenient location and it's a beautiful store. However, this Starbucks has been fraught with problems since the beginning. Water problems, power problems, espresso machine problems. So many times I've tried to go, the store has been closed or the drive thru closed or they have been unable to make my drink of choice. They can't seem to get the hang of the mobile order feature and I've had to deal with clueless or rude staff when problems occurred. The quality of my drinks here vary greatly from perfection to undrinkable. It's always a bit of a crapshoot. 5/11/17 - update to say this location finally got itself together. My drink is always made correctly and is perfect! I have been coming to this specific location for a few years now since it's closest to my work and have never had a bad experience until recently. The last few times I come in, one of the baristas is always really nasty to me. Since COVID, you have to tell them your name at mobile order pick up and they give it to you and this one girl always accuses me of sending my order to the wrong location until she finds it right there and now just rolls her eyes at me and makes someone else help me. Super thankful for this Starbucks. Today is Thanksgiving. I was just there and it was pretty busy. The wait time was a little longer but it was worth it. All of the employees were in good spirits and usually are. I come to this location at least 5 times a week, sometimes on the weekend. They're always kind and speed of service is great. The food is okay, my favorite is the double smoked bacon sandwich. All of the food is premade at a plant, I think Starbucks could do better considering how pricey their food is. read more

This Starbucks is one of the fastest Starbucks in Danbury considering the location it has been placed. Staff is always welcoming and upbeat. The downside is that customers are rude and entitled to everything they wish. I feel so bad for most of the employees because I feel as though they try their best and follow policies. As a customer it is our job to be clear as to what we want and to make sure it was understood correctly not every customer is always right. So furthermore let's remember they don't get paid enough for them to deal with our bullcrap we give them. Let's also remember respect goes both ways. Sometimes if I have been waiting for a while I will try to ask if my order is coming, and usually it's difficult to make eye contact with someone. Today I was waiting for a while. I've visited this location in the past, and I've had very good service (despite the long wait times) except for a recent encounter with a woman named Michelle. The service was very slow, even though it was not busy. I'm also lactose intolerant and paid extra for almond milk and she put whole milk. When I requested a remake, she said she did use almond milk and was very rude about it, even though I know the difference in taste. After finally remaking my drink and waiting forever, I heard her making remarks under her breath and to colleagues about how much customers suck. I was having a very bad day and that was the cherry on top. I hope you train your employees better on how to deal with customers, and I will never be visiting that Starbucks again. read more

I have a single cup holder in my vehicle. When I asked if they could throw away the plastic cup I had the in cup holder at the drive-thru, to make room for the cappuccino I just ordered, the employee stated that the manager doesn't allow them to throw away items for customers. This seemed preposterous considering that I could park my car, walk into the Starbucks, and throw it away in their garbage (either outside or inside the store). Despite having moved here a few months ago, I haven't made any trips to this Starbucks before, because of the weather, and because I have a Nespresso machine at home that makes it easier to just stay home if the weather is not nice. Now that the weather is nicer, I'll be looking to pick up cappuccinos and espressos on the fly. The customer service at this Starbucks leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It is about time!!!! This is a great location! Before this one, I would hate going to exit 2, the plaza is super busy and parking can be scarce at times. The other option would have been the mall. This new location is right off exit 6. It has its own dedicated parking and the drive thru was well thought out. It is very clean and has alot of seating. This was the first Starbucks I have been to, that you video chat your order in drive thru, so cool! I will just have to be aware of my facial expressions now! Terrific to have a Starbucks in this location, but I'm sorry to say this place is a mess. I try to visit this location almost every day. What I mean by "try" is that about once out of every 3 or 4 times, I pull into the parking lot to find it's closed because of electrical problems, or water problems, or some other mysterious reason. Half the time when they do decide to open, the drive-through is closed. If you're lucky, you'll have the opportunity to place your order, which will be prepared at a snail's pace by frazzled staff, occasionally even the way you asked for it. The baristas here always make my drink amazing! But the facility always has some issue. Several times I've gone and the drive thru has been closed for one reason or another. I like to stop on my way to work or I will drive out of my way for good coffee and a drive thru. Haven't stopped in awhile B.C. I assume they will have issues. This Starbucks is very convenient and in a great location for me, however the last few times I have pulled into the parking lot they have been closed due to power and having no water. I think they should just stay closed until they find out what the issue is rather then stay open and have to close in the middle of the day due to issues. The manager of this Starbucks has no problem being rude to customers. I was waiting quite a while for a Venti blonde roast after I had already finished the quad espresso I ordered. Drip coffee isn't complicated and should always be ready to serve according to my experience in multiple jobs as a barista. I thought they had forgotten about my drink so I politely said, "I'm still waiting on a Venti blonde roast." She said, "It's still brewing" in a tone that I did not appreciate. I said, "I'll take whatever is ready." The word sorry was never directed towards me, nor was I asked if I would like room, which there was plenty of. Great location. Terrible service. 90% of the times something I order is wrong. They are super slow, even when it's not busy; I have to wait 10 minutes for an ice coffee (black, no milk/cream or sugar). I've been ignored at the counter for several minutes without a cashier giving me any form of acknowledgement. If it weren't so much closer, I'd always go to the Starbucks by exit 2 or the Starbucks on Federal Rd; well, any Starbucks but this one. Also, the traffic to get to this location sucks and if you go to the drive through, make sure you want to sit in line, cause you'll get stuck in the line once you drive up, you can't pull to the side and leave the drive through line. read more
