Can I start out saying Im in love with all aspects of this small business!…read more For right now - You'll find Kash & Liv Coffee Creations at My Place Restaurant on Queen St in Newtown, CT. If all of us show the love maybe someday we will see Kash & Liv Coffee Creations with a cafe we can hang out in. First the coffee creator Amanda - Amazing! Im not sure about the rest of You but Im all about texting. I have some social anxiety so the thought of stumbling over my words makes me hesitant about phone calls. Kash & Liv allows two extremely easy customer focused options # 1 - You can text your order (475) 295 - 0983 and make preferences during that text such as for myself Im diabetic. I need less syrup in my drinks. Not for one second did I feel like an annoyance for asking for a customized amount of pumps in my latte. #2 - you are able to pay via Venmo - no need for cash or a card - super easy! If you prefer cash or debit / credit during your call or text you could inquire about those payment options. Coffees available in both hot & iced options. Now let's get to the important part my delicious Iced Brown Butter Toasted Carmel latte. This flavor is sooo smooth and delicious. The syrup is custom crafted and homemade. I will be a repeat customer to try the other flavors. I am a coffee lover to the max so I opted for the quart size. While this size did not fit in my cup holder I was completely comfortable holding it while driving. Next time I will buy one of their cups available for purchase, or bring my own to transfer the coffee to. Or there is a 14oz option available or cup holder friendly side. In the pics with this review you can see other flavor options available. If your a Newtown resident Amanda regularly posts in Newtown Eats on Facebook with hours and locations. Kash & Liv can also be hired to come to your party, or event. Let's show love for this business whether your a resident or passing through.

Their menu is packed with fun, creative options, which makes it hard to choose just one. I decided to try the drink of the day, "Raspberry fluff" I chose iced with oat milk. It was light, refreshing, and had just the right touch of sweetness without being overwhelming. While it wasn't my personal top pick, I still enjoyed it and could tell it was crafted with balance in mind. I'd definitely come back to try more of their drinks--there are so many tempting flavors, and this place feels like the type where you'll eventually find "your" go-to order.

This bulk store has coffee roasting, fresh nut butters, local honey, vinegars, bulk baking (including GF) and so much more! Every Saturday if you go into the store, you'll catch their coffee roasting in action, which is always cool to see. They offer a wide variety of gift options and packaging, which I couldn't recommend more upcoming celebrations. They will help you create it or you can put it together yourself too. There is plenty of parking and they have later hours so you can swing by after work (located right off of the Main Street).

Walking into the restaurant, you get hit right away with all these delicious homemade pastries. You almost just want to skip right to dessert. Even though it was very busy, we were seated pretty quick. The vibe and decor was very cool. Even had a Led Zeppelin poster on the wall. The best dishes we tried were the Red Hot Mama burrito. The short ribs were easily the star, but loved the pairing with sweet potato and Gouda. Even has its own sauce. Also try the cheese waffle (their take on Brazilian cheese bread). So unique. The French toast wasn't the favorite. The crust of the brioche was a little over done, but the inside was good, especially with the strawberries. The waffles were very good. Light and fluffy. I do have to say that I wished they offered a soda option. It isn't a deal breaker, but it is something I like. Definitely recommend giving them a try!
