Went to order from this store for the first time I placed my order then went to the restroom When I came out my breakfast sandwich was ready I waited an additional 4 minutes and asked how much longer for my drink. Desiree was very rude and nasty she Stated it's going to be another 6-10 minutes I'm only one person. She didn't apologize for the delay or anything she was irritated. I said ok but I didn't ask for all of that info. She then said I've been here 12 years and if you don't like it you can leave. I then had water splat on me and I was like excuse you, she then yelled if you can't wait get out of my store. Lesson- your an employee you don't own the damn store Miss lady and if it wasn't for the customers you wouldn't have a job! That's not my fault for your pressure lady. ZERO STARS!! Rude and dirty employees. They always screw up everyone's order. And when you tell them something is missing they have the audacity to get mad and they make you wait to redo the whole order again instead of just replacing the missing item. Worst customer service of my life. This place needs to get shut down. It's really dirty and there are flies everywhere it's disgusting. They don't clean at all. I've seen them be extremely rude to doordash people making them wait even though their order has been ready and sitting on the counter for several minutes. They all have miserable faces and are mad the whole time. If they dislike their job that much they all need to quit. I have almost slipped inside the store because there is always spilled coffee everywhere. One of these days there will be a lawsuit or they will mess with the wrong person. read more

This is one of the worst if not THE worst Starbucks. I visit the area often and it is the only one close. This occasion, I'm was up at 5am, so headed to Starbucks. The app said it was open but said I could not order ahead. I'm thinking, ok maybe there is an app issue. Once I get there, the place is completely closed. Seriously?! As I sat in the parking lot looking for somewhere to get coffee, several cars came through just to discover the same. I have had issues like this with this store before. Closing early, opening late. This has to the worst starbucks I've ever been in and quite frankly probably the last time I'll ever go to any starbucks. The coffee I ordered was disgusting and it was only a medium black coffee. How in the hell can you screw-up black coffee???? Well the person who waited on found a way to do it. As far as Starbucks go it's like all the rest, they are but not very cleaning as they adopt the assembly line business model. The drinks are decent. The only new item I would like to add to this location, and probably all Starbucks as of late. There were three maybe four of us that took the time to come in and order. They prepped at least 15 drinks and not one of the customers that were there that ordered had their drinks worked on. I had to leave and come back, I could not wait any longer. When I returned I waited for my order once more and they had to tell the girl making the online orders to make mine because it was just not being made. Now either the tall girl (never got her name) is goat of barista'ing or there is an break down in work flow. On the way back home from Charlottesville, it was that time in the afternoon after lunch - where it's time for a liquid crack break - especially for the driver - my gut instinct was that I would have to settle for coffee from a 7-11 or a fast food restaurant. So we got off U.S. 29 at one of the Culpeper exits and lo and behold - Culpeper has a Starbucks! Color me surprised - I was not expecting to see that! So we piled on in and ordered our drinks - the girl behind the counter was having a ho-hum sort of day, so I got her revved up and laughing a bit - she went from "I'm having an ok day," to "I'm good!" I ordered an iced triple shot grande sugar free vanilla latte. The Starbucks here has T-mobile wireless internet access, plenty of comfy chairs, lots of tables, would be a nice Sbux to hang in. They also have a Drive-Thru. I made sure as we exited we told her goodbye, gave her a nice smile and wished her well! I guzzled my drink before we even made it back onto U.S. 29! read more

STARBUCKS - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Culpeper, Virginia

Not my finest experience. Tried to get some work done while out of town, so I figured Starbucks would be reliable for a couple hours. Not this time. It smelled so weird when I walked in, and all of the baristas were talking about it. There were way more staff there than seemed necessary at 4:30pm because they were all standing around scrunching their noses. It made me uncomfortable to be there as they talked about it. None of them smiled at me when I walked in or greeted me until I forcibly made eye contact with the employee taking my order. It took a while to get my drink. The floors were filthy and flies were everywhere. Straws and cigarettes were littered all outside of the building. The worst part was the SUN. At this hour, the sun was blazing in from one side of the building (the only side with windows at all) and heating up half of the seating areas. I sat at the only large standalone table and had to move after a short period of time because I couldn't stand the heat anymore. Then I moved to another spot and somehow made the wrong decision again because the sun creeped in through a smaller window and blinded me. Sure I could have moved to yet another table, but I had way too much stuff to spread out to fit on any of the small ones not affected by the sun. They have sun shades, but they were not pulled down. I didn't get any work done and feel like I wasted a purchase to spend time here. read more

Instead of promptly mopping up spilled coffee on the floor, the employees simply placed a wet floor sign over it. That was there when I got here, and 10 minutes later it's still there, with people having to walk through it and getting coffee on their shoes. read more

Drove completely out of my way on a work trip for a pick me up.. was in the drive thru line behind others at 2:08 and the employee put up a rope right in front of me as I'm waiting because they "close at 2." Nothing new here for those that have read my other Starbucks reviews. 8:15 in the morning on a Saturday (oct 27). NO BOLD ROAST COFFEE. SERIOUSLY. First they take your money then they proceed to tell you you'll have to wait unless you want to consume something g you didn't want in the first place. Two Simple words of advice......"MAKE COFFEE" I drink simple bold black coffee for a reason. It's "supposed" to be fast and easy. I'm not supposed to wait. And for sure 50% of the time it's not ready. Shitty, crappy customer service. Bad enough I have to wait for someone to order their cake in front of me (that's what I call a coffee drink with more than three ingredients ). So we stopped by Sunday afternoon to get some caffeine and reduce the headache and only contributed more to it. There were four baristas and it seemed that they were tripping all over each other. .... service was horrible and slow, people not served in order random drinks were made and we were skipped over while others were wondering who's drink was what... then no long straws for venti drinks which is a hassle cause you have to remove the lid to drink it, small thing but irritating none the less. When asked about it barista giggled and said " oh yeah we're out"....well why not tell me before I order a huge drink. Maybe I'm ranting but this is by far the worst unprofessional staff I have ever encountered at a Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks is always clean & the staff is always friendly. They're pretty quick with making the drinks & they're always delicious. It's a comfortable spot to sit in for a while catching up with friends or working on your laptop. The drive-thru is never too busy b/c they keep people rolling through quickly, so that's great for the quick stops. read more

I ordered a Salted Carmel Mocha Frappucino. Got the hot version by mistake. Instead of the person arguing with me telling me I got the hot version, he not only gave me the hot version, but also made my Frappucino. One - Who can complain about getting two drinks for the price of one. Two - I really appreciated the fact that he went above and beyond to correct the mistake. Three - My drinks tasted great. --- Thanks! This was one of my better experiences with Starbucks. Appreciate it! This Starbucks is the cleanest, friendliest, and all around best Starbucks in the Warrenton, Culpeper, and Fredericksburg area. What a welcome change from the Warrenton location. Not the worst representation of this chain but not the best. The store has been pretty messy and dirty many times when I have visited. The service is good and they do a good job of making drinks and remembering regulars names. They are a bit inconsistent when it comes to getting the grinding right on purchased coffee. I ask for paper filter grind and the result varies greatly from visit to visit. read more

We stopped here for a coffee break on the way home from Charlottesville, and the service was great. We realized once we were home that we left our diaper bag and medication there, and the manager Ryan was extremely pleasant and helpful. He personally boxed and addressed the bag for me to be picked up by UPS per my request (I prepaid). The employees were honest and he reported that I had $20 still in the bag. I moved to Culpeper from North. My favorite is frappuchino. One thing I would have to say that Starbucks here they don't make good drink as Starbucks stores from North. The service is kind, but drinks need to be improved. Especially cleaning equipment needs to be done more seriously. Last week was the second time my green tea frappuchino has a taste of some other thing they made from the same blender, and they didn't clean it well. First time was a coup of month ago, my green tea had a little piece of food or meat on it, which I didn't know exactly what is that but certainly it shouldn't be in a drink!!! I love mobile ordering - I only wish they had someone assigned to address Mobile ordering customers as they walk in.
