Hubby was in the mood for a quick morning stop here for breakfast this morning before grocery shopping, so here we were. Went inside to order instead of doing the drive-thru, but took our sandwiches to a local park to enjoy instead of "dining in". There were no customers inside, & everything was spotlessly clean & neat. Staff was prompt & friendly. Husband had the "Turkey Sausage, Egg, & Cheese" on an English muffin; I ordered the regular "Sausage, Egg, & Cheese" on a croissant ($3.99 ea.). We didn't order any beverages, although I must say that I probably would have if the ordering process was easier to understand (at least for me). They always advertise all of these luscious-sounding coffee drinks, but when you get there, none of them seem to be on the menu or advertised in-store in any way. Just the usual stuff. Anyway, while husband's sandwich looked very nice & he enjoyed it, mine was a bit of a mess. My sausage & egg were okay, but the cheese - such as it was - was melted into absolute oblivion, & the croissant was not only soggy & flatter than a pancake, but was also black in several areas & did have a somewhat burnt taste to it. We don't visit here very often, but next time I'll know better & go with the sturdier English muffin. Bottom Line: For me - meh. But husband really likes their breakfast sandwich (since they're one of very, very few places that offer turkey sausage), so I will continue to just bite the bullet - lol! read more

Every. Single. Time. The only thing this place does consistently is inconsistency. Beverages are NEVER consistent, sometimes you get an insanely sweet drink, other days it seems like no flavorings have been added at all. I usually stop at the Culpeper Dublin Doughnuts before work. I work at the hospital. Today I stopped and used a gift card to order a medium tea. The employee did not tell me there was not any tea made or that it was in the process of being made. I waited several minutes and could see that they were trying to make tea. Needing to get to work I asked for a refund so I could leave. i had to wave down the employee who could not return the money herself, she asked another employee, he could not help, then another lady came over. She asked the employee why I asked for a refund. I chose to tell her why I asked for a refund. The manager snapped at me, "I asked my employee not you!". This place is horrible! I had an issue and not only is the manager rude and not professional, but wanted to act like I was a liar. I've been a manager for awhile, and how she handled the issues was ridiculous. She offered no apology, she argued, kept interrupting me, and gave me a bunch of excuses on how it was not their fault. Thier system double charged me. I have my bank statement showing proof. The manager there wanted to act like I was lying and wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. Both transactions finalized at my bank a day after each other and she said it was 2 different days and wouldn't help, and didn't look at it! The 2 transactions have the SAME transaction number and she kept talking around it, acting like I was making everything up. The best fast-food/drive-thru experience you can get in Culpeper! Their customer service is wonderful. The hot chocolate is by far my favorite, the pricing is great, and the speed is awesome - I came by every single day of my senior year! As someone who has always had a love for Dunkin Donuts, I was super bummed when I found out I had Type 2 Diabetes and had to take a hard look at my diet and lifestyle. I went from having Dunkin coffee and the stuffed croissants nearly every day to every other day, to I had to start my journey of learning the importance of healthy eating, which I felt like meant I could no longer enjoy my favorite coffee and baked goods restaurant! Today, for the first time in almost six months, I walked in here and wanted to stay the path, and found they actually serve Turkey Sausage and Egg White Omelet Bites. As far as I know, it is not possible to screw up DD! Coffee tastes the same as everywhere and donuts are pure sugar, but good if you are in the mood. I have been here about 15 times and gotten coffee for a DD fan (My customer), who can always tell that it is DD coffee. He loves it, so I will keep bringing it to him. So, we've tried this particular location two times and were disappointed both times. While the iced coffee was just okay, the donuts were dry and lacked any real flavor. They tasted as if they were delivered frozen, thawed out, and later frosted (maybe that's their franchise's procedure?). On top of the less-than-desirable products, the store doesn't participate in national promotions (or didn't in this particular one I called about). I was so excited when I found out they were opening a Dunkin' Donuts in Culpeper. Since opening, I've visited 4 times, each time a disappointment. The staff is difficult to communicate with (language barrier) and can be a quite rude. The coffee is fine. It's the way the bagels are done. It's like they toast it for a second then throw it in the microwave. There is no crunchiness to the bagel.
