It's sad to see some people have had negative experiences at this Starbucks. I love coming in to this Starbucks and have actually had great service here. Barista Jessie is so great chat with and she helped me come up with my new favorite drink order! An oat milk pumpkin spice latte, hot, but with non-dairy cold foam. So good! I notice too that some reviews posted that this Starbucks has no restroom. The restrooms at the Corte Madera Town Center are two doors down from the Starbucks and they are very nice bathrooms. Four stars. My Peppermint Mocha, small was perfect. A little pricey, but service with a smile , festive decor. The feedback I would like to give is that there is no signage saying that it's a Starbucks maybe on the other door but we totally missed it and we were looking for coffee. Disappointing! I asked for a matcha green tea latte with no foam and although they are supposed to add classic syrup now that the matcha doesn't have sugar in it anymore I still asked to make sure. The person who took my order said yes. I got my drink. It is full of foam and they didn't add the syrup. I told the barista. She was not very friendly. She took all the foam out and 1/3 of my drink without adding more and just shoved the cup towards me. They don't make drinks correctly and no personality. read more

This will be the third time the same barista has been very rude so I'm finally reviewing. The first time - she placed a cup down and said for "Cory" but I heard Lori and picked it up - checked the name and put it back down quickly. She looked at me in horror and asked the customer "would you like us to make you another drink"? And that person said yes - whatever and then she scolded me telling me - (a customer of Starbucks for way too long) that they wrote the name on the cups and I needed to check the name first", which I obviously did or wouldn't have set the drink back down immediately after verifying it wasn't actually my name I heard. The second time was another rude comment but today - our whole order was ready and then we were waiting another 5 minutes so I simply asked if our order was coming up since we already had everything else and I was scolded because apparently "we have a very large amount of orders". I had the most insulting experience at the town center Starbucks. I was waiting for a friend and I asked for a water and the manager a blonde woman told me that I had to be a paying customer to get a glass of water while I waited. I get most of my cappuccino's hot and sometimes cold from here and they deliver them on time and nicely! The cappuccino's usually are on the stronger side and they taste so good! I believe this "Starbucks" is one of the best! Because they don't short you in the amount that you get in say a "Venti"! The Barista and who I assume is the shift manager (the large fellow) badmouthed me amongst all workers after I asked them to remake a drink that was nearly 100% filled with ice when I asked for light ice and gave a $1 dollar tip. As a former Starbucks worker for years, this is unacceptable behavior for Starbucks Baristas and not representative of a "second home". I will not be coming to this location again, and suggest management relook the culture within this store. Indoor seating minimal (small round tables not good for studying...not sure if there are plugs??), but outdoor seating is great (just not so great on a cold, blustery day). This Starbucks location can be hit or miss. There are some nice employees, but there is one gal that looks like she would rather be anywhere else than at work. LOL, I get it, but....it is your JOB, so suck it up. I have to at my work! There is plenty of parking, but it does get crowded depending on the day and time. Pretty terrible place to get coffee. I got roped into going here for afternoon coffee and it was just plan bad. I realized I hadn't been to this location for a while and I kind of remember why. It's pretty awful customer service, no one knows the special reserve coffee's flavor profiles are and it's like they can't process your you through the line fast enough. The only tolerable coffee at Starbucks is made through their Clover machine where you pick your coffee for them to brew on the spot. It's now ridiculously expensive for a Clover coffee and it's no longer worth it in my opinion. The one I had tasted almost burnt but then again, I couldn't get any help selecting a particular coffee so maybe the one I selected was awful to begin with. The place was super untidy and messy, another good reason to avoid it. There're several other and better coffee options in this area. read more

This is a subpar Starbucks. Unfortunately, due to size, there's very limited seating so it's not great to sit for a while or work. The bathrooms are mall bathrooms, so if you have a laptop you need to leave it in the cafe and walk a few stores down to use the restroom. There are charging stations for phone charging, who is very helpful, but they're all at bar-seating so not helpful for space to spread out or use a laptop. The drinks here aren't made to the usual Starbucks standard - if you ask for extra hot, it doesn't usually make a difference in the temperature of the drink. Service isn't the best, the people tend to be quite slow. That said, the line is never very long so the time it takes to make a drink is quick. Overall, a below average Starbucks, but definitely good for a quick coffee. read more

I always come to this Starbucks in corte madera and I usually have a quick okay experience , however today I had an incident today where I order a cold buster and a guy who's name I think is Chris ( he wasn't wearing a name tag) literally fought with me when I told him the drink I asked for didn't come with milk but had milk in it (I'm lactose intolerant) he kept telling me that he had made it himself and had put lemonade but you couldn't taste any lemonade just milk and I even showed him so he could see the proof and instead of honoring the customer he started to fight with me took my cup and started to slam things around and make a big scene even his coworkers noticed and asked him what was wrong with him and then after waiting for 20 mins I finally got my cup back to me with my actual order. Visiting from out of town! This Starbucks in shopping center near Nordstrom's. The employees were friendly. First impression walking in "this place is a mess! Floor messy, napkins on floor but also looked dirty. I forgot about that ,got in line ordered, as I am waiting I can see The stainless steel equipment through the glass divider, it is really dirty, greasy looking and so I looked around while employees were busy making orders. The lack of cleaning was below par and the usual Starbucks cleanliness in preparing food was not up to the standard . Kinda of alarming. The place was really busy people in and out fir the hour we sat outside. Guess the grime is accepted there ! Not a appetizing Starbucks .
