I used to come to them every other week, but lately, they can't get any drink right. When I ordered a brown sugar strato frappucino, they gave me a mocha frappucino. When I ordered an iced pecan crunch oat milk latte, they left off the foam and crunch topping. When I ordered a drink substituted with oat milk, they still made it with whole milk. This Starbucks location is typically quite busy. A tip would be to grab lunch next door at Sababa and then go in for the coffee. At times I've done a mobile order as well to help cut down the wait time. The staff is extremely friendly and works hard to keep up with the flow of cars in the drive thru, but exiting the location can be a challenge due to the shopping center's design. read more

The company I work for mentioned Starbucks among businesses as good places to work. Starbucks came up in our discussions about good customer services. And finally the company was mentioned because of its cleanliness and restrooms. Boy have they slipped since then to a place I hope we never land. The service the wife and I got over the past few weeks has been a nightmare. Yesterday I come to the drive through and I wait and wait and wait. 4 minutes tick by and finally I drive to the window and wait some more. I drive around front pausing to see if they are open. I can see workers inside; though only two. I drive back around the building to find that a couple more cars have lined up in the drive through. I park my car in front of the service window. Here I tell the employee what I wanted to order at the intercom. She tells me that they don't have what I'm here for and I drive away. More and more they are out of the products I want. I think they are having problems hiring people. I know that they have rent to pay and as a result need to keep their doors open but what is that costing them in terms of their reputation? As much as they charge for the drinks, they have to find ways to keep their service levels up. Right now there are three Starbucks on Broad Street. I've only shopped at two of them and they share the same low quality service. I hope they find their way before I find another coffee shop to patronize. I have the Starbucks app on my phone but I'm not sure for how long. read more

I think Starbucks has shifted their customer service focus to drive thru and is slacking on teaching basic face-to-face hospitality principles. If there is a customer who gets out of their car and is in front of you, you should be provided a service promptly and make every effort to expedite. Secondly, again if a customer is waiting in the store, service focus again should take priority to meet the needs of a customer directly in front of you. This is a common service principle. This occurred not only at this location, but several of the past stores I have been to. Starbucks- continue to teach your staff the importance of professionalism with customers directly and physically in front of you. read more

Hands down one of my favorite Starbucks. I've been coming here for years upon years along with the rest of the East Side Starbucks fans. I've only had an issue once in which my order was wrong and it was immediately corrected when brought to the staff's attention. The drinks are fairly consistent in flavor and blend regardless of whose commanding the espresso machine and I've not found this to be the case at all coffee joints. Their customer service here is far better than almost any place I have ever been before. I asked about 100 questions and the young man never lost his patience or became short with his answers. The steak wrap thing I got was pretty good and the drink was fabulous. I've stopped into this location a couple times with my 11 year old daughters, en route to the grocery store and every single time we were quickly greeted with genuine smiles, knowledgeable baristas and excellent service. Each time, my girls' tall hot chocolates were produced with whipped cream and at a temperature that is appropriate for a child. My venti skinny SF vanilla mochas are always done properly and quickly. I placed a mobile order for a venti blonde no foam latte and a venti bold. 12 minutes later I finally got the latte. I had to ask for the black coffee only to be told that they don't have any bold brewed. Since I was running late I let them substitute Pike (not sure why they didn't make me a pour over when I ordered). Got into my car and took a sip of my latte and it's got a ton of classic syrup in it. This is why I don't waste my money on Starbucks any more - they never get it right! read more

I think this might be the best Starbucks in the Columbus area (trust me, I've been to them all). The staff members are so nice and upbeat, every single one of them. I used to stop by everyday before heading to work. I think out of the 50+ times I've been here, I've only had my order wrong once. They noticed it and gave me the wrong drink, the correct drink and then a freebie coupon for next time. If they made one too many drinks, they'll offer the extras to you. The line for the drive thru can get pretty long around rush hour or on Saturdays but they try to make it go by quick. Great location. Great staff. read more

Like most any Starbucks I have visited, this location has friendly staff and good coffee. They have a convenient drive thru, which is one of my favorite aspects about any Starbucks. My only dislike about this location is the seating area. They provide limited space between the counter and seats. If there is a group at a table, the aisle chair sticks out and my big but has to squeeze past in order to get to the counter. Very awkward. read more

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Starbucks. Barista Fred talked continually with a friend of his while lining up the finished drinks on the counter, never calling out names. First of all, I am a barista at another Starbucks in the Columbus area and I understand what sets apart good customer service from exceptional customer service. Allow me to illustrate how they are by far one of the worst in the area. I order a Tall Iced (1)Pumpkin Soy Dirty Chai as my go to drink because I am a glutton for holiday drinks. So when i ask for ONE pump of pumpkin spice, I assume there is only one pump of pumpkin spice. So I wait about 5-7 minutes for my drink and I taste test it because I seen it looked uber orange. She looks at me and says she did 3 and 3 of the pumpkin and chai. I looked at her then at the cup and said it was too sweet. She didn't respond and went about her happy business. Cool beans. I take it that you aren't interested in my distaste. I stand there looking at her because I clearly just said I was unhappy with my drink and Starbucks motto is 'If you aren't satified with your drink, we'll remake it'. Of course it didn't happen until 12 minutes later when a different barista asked what was wrong and decided to remake (she was great, srly). To add along to the drink problem, she was unbelievably unwelcoming. It was as if she brought her bad day with her to work. This Starbucks is on my way home from work. There's another location 2.5 miles down the road, though it is out of the way ... and that is the one I would rather use. While a few of the employees are nice, and the drinks are generally consistent with the Starbucks brand, the accuracy and speed of this location have left a great deal to be desired. It took me nearly 15 minutes for a single cup of coffee today at 9:30am, despite being 3rd in line.
