This is the WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. Only come if you have all day to wait, or use the drive thru. At other Starbucks I am a big fan of mobile ordering. Get in and out and on with your day. That is NOT the case for this location! The worst part is this is the location closest to Nationwide Children's Hospital, so doctors nurses, and families come to this location. The staff ignores all orders besides drive thru. I have waited 30-55 minutes for a mobile order multiple multiple times and 30 or more for in cafe. I've been when I while customer after customer is upset because they can't wait any longer due to an appointment or work. Who would assume an order ahead coffee would take 30 minutes or more?! read more

The wait time for in store and order ahead orders is terrible. Ive had the same experience on multiple occasions. If it weren't for the proximity to my work, I'd go out of my way to avoid it. The drinks are fine & made per the normal recipes. In store lighting is adequate. read more

Yesterday, I walked into this sad little Starbucks on Livingston Ave, next to the hospital, with a flicker of hope that maybe, just maybe, I'd get a decent drink to brighten my day. What a colossal mistake. I ordered a Grande Iced Matcha Latte with almond milk and strawberry cold foam--sounds delightful, right? Wrong. What I got was a cup of chunky green sludge that looked like it was scraped off the bottom of a swamp and topped with a pitiful dollop of strawberry cream that couldn't save this disaster if it tried. It was like sipping on mushy sand--gritty, vile, and an insult to every taste bud I own. I've had better drinks from a gas station slushie machine run by a raccoon. Once upon a time, this chain was a beacon of overpriced consistency, a place where you could count on a decent caffeinated fix. Now? It's a crumbling empire of mediocrity, staffed by a rotating cast of blue-haired, brain-dead baristas who probably think "matcha" is just green Kool-Aid with a fancier name. I'm not saying everyone with blue hair is a walking lobotomy advert, but the correlation between the dye job and the inability to blend a damn powder into a liquid is starting to feel like a conspiracy. These workers are the poster children for the decline of basic competence--smiling sweetly while they hand you a cup of pure regret. And that's the real kicker: the service was *nice*. Like, infuriatingly nice. The barista beamed at me with this chipper little grin, handed me my drink like it was a gift from the gods, and I almost felt bad for how much I was about to hate them. Almost. Because then I took a sip and realized they'd somehow managed to turn kindness into a Trojan horse for incompetence. How do you screw up this badly when you're *trying* to be pleasant? It's like a chef serving you a plate of raw sewage with a side of "hope you enjoy!"--the disconnect is maddening. I am writing this in regards to the service I received today. I have been a Starbucks customer for 5+ years. I've ordered the same drink almost every day I come. I come about 4-6 times a week. I've been to multiple Starbucks locations in Columbus, and come to this store very often, but have never been told what I was told today. I am highly disappointed that some Baristas here pick and choose when to follow a "rule". I came today to order my regular Venti Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with Light Ice, Vanilla Sweet Cream cold foam and Cinnamon Dolce in the foam. This drink comes to $8 even everytime. Today (05/17/25) between 4-5pm, I came to your store to order my drink. Whoever was on the clock during this time decided to tell me that I would get less than half of my drink because I wanted light ice. I asked if I could just have extra oatmilk (As I've never been told this before!) and they said that they were not allowed to do that. I called Starbucks' customer service number, and they made it clear that it was incorrect for them to do that and there is not a rule behind allowing me to have extra oatmilk. I am completely dumbfounded that I would get less than HALF of a Venti sized drink for $8. As far as I'm aware, ice does not cost $8. I would really like to be provided with an explanation to the issue I had today as once again, I've ordered shaken espressos for years and never received one less than half, or even half full when asked for light ice. read more

I ordered the cookie crumble cream frappe and was delighted to see the dark color which means it's rich. This Starbucks is almost hard to find off the road. I was trying to hit up the drive thru and ended up circling twice. You enter a building away from the actual Starbucks. It was super early in the morning around 6:15. It was also really dark and rainy. COVID-19 had already shut most places down and only drive thru is an option. I tried the new southwest breakfast wrap. Bland! Now I know why another barista preferred the other wrap. Still, I like their water and had to get myself some. Starbucks never fails. read more

I would always wish and wish and wish that they had a starbucks in this exact area. I take this route from my place to the gym often and sometimes in the morning. They workers are always really nice and greet me with a smile and make conversation in the drive through. Inside it is really clean. And spacious. It's a little bigger than normal starbucks i would say. But not by a lot. One thing is that it seems to always be a little wait. It seems that I wasn't the only one wishing for a starbucks to come. Because there is always a line. But ive found a good remedy for this. I just order on the app and come and walk in and pick it up. Instead of waiting in the line. Normally I am not one to review Starbucks because each store is basically the same, but not going to lie, I'm pretty pumped about this location opening for several reasons. 1.) drive through and parking lot! The original German village starbs - aka the one on third - has a horrible parking situation, and is really difficult to get in and get out quickly. However, with this being said, entering this new location's drive through and parking lot is just a little bit tricky... What you need to do: the driveing entrance is not directly next to the store, if you are driving towards nationwide children's hospital (aka driving East), the entrance is just after grant Ave and a Cota bus stop. See photo for visual reference. The exit onto Livingston is the only exit for the entire parking lot as well. 2.) cleanliness Since this location is new, it's super clean! 3.) Ample space and great seating (with numerous plugs) This location is maybe 2-3 times larger than the other German village store. The tables do not wiggle, and I don't feel like I am fighting to get a seat near a plug:) 4.) Very speedy :) I have been to this store three times since it has opened, and each time I have been able to get my drink very quickly. Thankfully this store isn't too busy yet, and the employees are on their game with busting out everyone's drinks in a timely fashion. (Yay!) 5.) I am so happy to see this Starbucks open across the street from work! Things you should know about this location: 1. It is much bigger than it looks from the outside. I was shocked by the amount of space and tables available during my visit. There's a small patio facing Livingston Ave for outdoor seating. 2. There is a drive-thru! 3. There's a parking lot behind the building. The entrance to the drive thru/parking lot is located to the right side of the building. It looks like you're pulling into another building, but you'll be able to see the Starbucks drive thru sign to know you're pulling in the right spot. 4. They have mobile ordering. I have a feeling my fellow NCH employees will especially appreciate the mobile ordering. 5. They have all the regular food/bakery products. Waited for 25 minutes after ordering inside just to have to leave before my drink was ever made so I wasn't late to work. Nobody could talk to be about a refund because they were so behind and busy, which I understand. Everyone is understaffed and overworked but 25 minutes for a coffee... just one? And the drive thru line was just flying by. I couldn't get into the drive thru line because it was backed up into Livingston so I figured inside would be faster... NOT.
