For those who already knew, this is probably old news, but for those are of us who didn't...it's a treasure in there! In my quest to cut back on caffeine and syrupy sweet drinks (that I LOVE) I discovered the Pink Drink...OMG...it's so so good! It's made with Strawberry Açaí Refresher, coconut milk, strawberries, and ice. I order mine with light ice and because I like a little razzle dazzle, I add extra strawberries (blended-that's important) and a lil cold foam...sometimes strawberry cream sometimes the vanilla protein. I ordered a grande caramel latte expecting a balanced, flavorful coffee--what I got was a cup that was at least half cream. Not foam, not froth--just cream. For the price of a grande, I essentially received a small coffee with a lot of filler. I understand that milk-based drinks can vary, but this wasn't a matter of taste--it was a matter of volume. I paid for a full drink and left feeling shortchanged. If I wanted a half-full cup, I'd have ordered a tall. I usually enjoy Starbucks, but this experience left a bitter taste. So I placed a pick up order and went to go get it. Of course, you are not able to go inside, so I proceeded through the driveway. Once I get to the window, the woman bust through the window and yells out a price rudely and I say, I placed an order online. She says again, rudely, name please....and I give my name and then she says what?!?! Now I'm getting pissed! She goes to look again and says we are making it now. Ugh....ok, so I'm waiting. Now, when I placed my order, it had all of the fixin's and additions that I wanted to each drink, only to have her to come back and ask if I wanted those additions!?!? Well I paid for them, didn't I? It was the 17th and I decided the kids and I wanted our usual Starbucks fix of those delicious frappes before we headed out to go pick up a few things from the store. I decided I would use the mobile app as I do all the time and order ahead so I can bypass the line of equally excited people trying to get their fix as well. I ordered 3 frappes, 2 Carmel and 1 Carmel ribbon which came to 17.00 and some change (no biggie), happily paid! The app sent me notification that my order will be ready at 1217. As I drive up I notice the drive through line is back all the way to the entrance by the main road that doesn't affect me since I usually choose to Come in, as I find somewhere to Park and go in I notice several people standing along the wall waiting for their order as well. I proceed to the mobile order counter and notice it's empty, no big deal maybe they are running behind. As I am waiting I notice everyone's order is slowly being filled and leaving. I glance at my watch and notice it's now almost 1300 a far cry from the predicted time I was expecting. In my mind I'm wondering if maybe they lost my order but I didn't want to ask since I didn't want to seem impatient. Finally after seeing a customer who came in after I did and ordered at the counter receive his quite large order and leave, a young lady finally asked my name and said "I'm working on that order now" well umm ok so keep in mind I have never worked at Starbucks but is there only One person who fills mobile orders??? Anyways I received my first Carmel frappe and prob stood there another 10 minutes before I received the other two , ok if u have ever read any of my reviews presentation plays a big part in my opinion and well it was def not up to Par for the amount of waisted time I spent there (my stubbornness and inner fat girl prevented me from Just leaving without my fix, ugh the struggle is real). No organization! Placed an app order at 336pm then walked straight in the store. Didn't get my order until 4pm AFTER I went and asked about my order. By then, it had started melting. I saw a young lady place two drinks to the side never calls the customer's name. There was a young man making drinks who greeted me/us when I walked in the door but never acknowledged me again. I stood in the same spot. He couldn't say he didn't see me. He was the main one handing out drinks. I know "one monkey don't stop no show", but I will never go back to this location. Making drinks seems to be more of a priority then gettibg the drink to the customer waiting over 20 minutes for an order that should have you oit of the store in under 10 minutes. read more

Dear Lord!! SLOW SLOW SLOW!!! I've been sitting in the drive thru line for over 25 minutes and just got to order! In about another 20 minutes I should have my order HOPEFULLY I have watched at least 6 cars pull up and go inside to return with their order since I have been sitting here!! WTH?? What is the sense of having a drive thru if it's faster to go inside?? This is RIDICULOUS!!! Update... Finally got to the window to pick up my order and the employee said they were still working on it! EIGHT YES 8 minutes later I had my order! New management has made some improvements. I am editing my review to reflect the improvement. Save yourself a lot of time and disappointment and just go to another location. I have called customer service and the management on many many occasions. The service is SLOW, drinks are sub-par. I have to regularly ask for drinks to be re-made. The weekday morning barista is really great, one of the only bright points of this location. I give up! I have traveled nationally and internationally and had many wonderful starbucks experiences. I visited this Starbucks today for the first time. It was hopping with business. Almost all the tables were full. It has an active drive through as well. Shawna took my order. She was polite, accurate, and expedited the service. The condiments area was stocked and fairly clean given the busyness. While baristas were working it, another crew member was dedicated to cleaning and dusting. The restroom had been serviced and was clean. While it is a bit small and parking is congested, I would certainly return to this establishment. read more

Stopped in for a much needed espresso. I decided to try their new blonde espresso and was pleasantly surprised! It's a bit nuttier than my traditional favorite, worth the try! Slow unless you use mobile ordering! I came in yesterday to pickup my order and the line was super long to the point where I couldn't get inside without asking people to move. The drive through was also long and always is. I have gotten to the point where I park at the bank next door instead to pickup my orders because the tiny parking is always full. Mobile ordering has improved tremendously since I first started using it and it is the only way to get your order quickly. Sometimes I would order things and it wasn't in stock and they would let me order it anyway. When I arrived it wasn't there and they would say oh it is out of stock. Out of stock items are now displayed on the app so this issue happens less often so I'm happy about that. One time when I went about 3 months ago mobile ordering pickup area was moved to a different location inside the store and nobody said anything as I waited and waited. They didn't greet me or ask why I had been standing there so long. I get that they are busy, but a sign on the outside of the door would have helped just like they did when they were out of the unicorn frapp. Product taste is often inconsistent depending on which barista makes it. They will remake it however if you don't like it so don't be afraid to have them redo it. read more

Did management change or something? This really used to be my favorite Starbucks, but lately it hasn't been that great. They are constantly out of staple bakery items there's been a couple of times where I made a mobile order, ordered bakery item only to find that they don't have it when I get there, so now I have to wait for them to make something else.. the point of me getting the mobile order is so that I can get it and go. I gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times, because I know things are a bit off because of COVID, but after the 4th time not so much. Its very inconvenient, especially after I have already paid for the item. I give it 3 stars because the hot beverages are still pretty good. I've been to this Starbucks a bunch of times, mainly to get drinks on the go. Today was one of the rare times I went in, ordered a drink, and stayed for a while. And yes, even for Starbucks, I liked it! Unlike other Starbucks locations that I've been to in other cities, this location does offer free wi-fi and it has a strong connection (huge plus!). There is also a decent amount of natural light and good variety of types of tables/chairs to choose from so you can comfortably stay for as long as you want. I got a tall iced green tea (very good btw!) and spent a few hours catching up on some work this afternoon. I liked that there were other people like me sitting behind their laptops and plugging away. The background music was pleasant, and the space just had a good vibe (clean, nice staff, etc.) so you could focus and accomplish whatever task you had going on. Two interesting observations: 1) Most of the people that came in pairs/groups chose to sit in their patio area outside. 2) The majority of the people inside were individuals with laptops (another huge plus in my book!). read more

One day scientists will prove Starbucks puts crack in their coffee. To tell you the truth most of the time I prefer Dunkin coffee (I drink it black). But the bold coffee (if you get it first thing in the morning) is good. For a while I was getting the bold later in the day and it was obvious it had just steeped and become nasty. Agree that if you are used to going to other Starbucks, say the ones in Charlotte, the service here is really half assed. That being said I still go here at least 2-3 times a week because it has a drive thru. Yes its bad I have been so much I know (if not by name by face) all the baristas. Without being a jerk some are MUCH better than others. Is it me or to the "OVER PERKY" baristas really piss you off? Due to its location this place really just has a license to print money. This location was recently renovated - to the detriment of in-store visitors. There was very little seating space before and now it's terrible. All of the tables are jammed into one side of the store. It feels very cramped and everyone is sitting on top of each other. The prep area behind the counter now takes up entirely half of the store. I turned around and left. I used to come here often to study but I'll be using the Killian Rd. location exclusively. They really should've torn this down or built another building in Sandhills. This location is no where near large enough to support the volume of visitors. read more

I have to agree with many of the other reviews. This is probably the most chaotic Starbucks I've ever been to. It's probably just too small for such a high-traffic location in a major shopping center. the staff can't handle the volume. Cold drinks served half full. Clearly neither the management nor Starbucks themselves care. Well I was stupid enough to try them again. No difference. They made a big production of asking me if I wanted my scone warmed. I said no. They warmed it. Re-do after re-do before I got my drinks. I can only assume they don't actually have a manager. Third time is not the charm. Dreadful service. Providing creamer for coffee seemed to be an insurmountable problem. Huge issue getting the correct pastry since they were too lazy to label them.
