Do yourself a favor and look at the menu before coming in so you already know exactly what you'll try. Since I came with a friend we decided to to try two different bagels and the staff here were nice enough to cut them both in half to make it easier for us to share. The bagels were messy but you could tell they were freshly made and so good! We ended up sharing the ridgeland and neighborino. I loved them both but I want to say I loved the neighborino a smidge more. While living here this will definitely become a regular spot and prices here were more than fair for the portions and freshness.

When I first discovered them, they had a sandwich on the menu called The Heater, the last place I went to was familiar with it, but this location was not. That didn't mean they weren't willing to make it for me though. I don't know if I ordered it exactly right, but the woman taking my order and I walked our way through it... the sandwich was delicious either way. This time I also got to try The Griswold (Turkey, bacon, provolone, pepper jack, lettuce, bbq & parm-peppercorn) and it might be a new favorite. This location is bigger than others I've been to. They had a bunch of tables inside and a large communal area outside with turf and a bunch of seating. Someone was even having a birthday party out there. The order taker noticed her and proceeded to go around me and took the color-bothered lady's order. WOOOOW, not just attitude but action, I thought. But I wanted my hotdogs and cake so I waited as I made mental notes of the past, the present, and the future. BUT!, when I did get to place my order and paid for it, they said, "he didn't charge you enough", like wait, what? you GAVE me something? NO. I bought this at NO discount. For a hotdog, a thin pickle slice, and chips at 3.95each (which is kid's combo) and 3 cakes at 3.50 each. I paid 20.38., twenty dollars and thirty-eight cents. Like wtf.. how much more do I need to pay for 2 hotdogs and 3 small slices of cake? At this point, I knew it would be my last time supporting this place. It is I, and only I, who chooses who and what I support and THE OTHER STORE is not something I will continue to support as long as they indulge and support such customers' unacceptable behaviors. More than $30 over the amount that I authorized. I posted about this experience and many people were thankful for the info. Others criticized the post. I pulled the post. I called Very's and explained what happened to me. I was told that nothing could be done over the phone and that I needed to come in at 1 p.m. the next day to see Nate. I was there on time. Nate was not there. A waitress attempted to assist me and then passed me off to another woman who came out of the office. I was there for almost a half of an hour when the lady (who was talking to Nate at home), said that Nate couldn't fix it from home. She took pictures of my documents and told me that Nate would come in at 3 pm. She told me that I didn't need to return. That Nate would have everything that he needed to fix it. I gave her my telephone number and asked if I could have the courtesy of a phone call when the transaction was resolved. It has been ten days and no resolution, no call to explain.
