This Starbucks is a hit or miss. Sometimes they are super quick and other times they tend to take forever for just 1 drink. My biggest frustration with them is actually with their inconsistency in exercising health practices. Aside from half their team not knowing how to wear masks and not wearing gloves when handling food, whenever I request my food item to remain in the original packaging and not be heated, they tell me it's a health violation and sometimes they have just gone forth and heated up my pastry despite me not wanting it heated. I'm not asking for the egg bites or anything that has to remain a constant temp to not be touched, I'm asking for pumpkin loaf not to be touched. I've never had this issue with any other Starbucks across the globe. Additionally, I can't tell you how many times I've asked for something and they respond with, "Starbucks is no longer carrying this item," or we are sold out. How is every other Starbucks carrying the item and you are not? Why are you always sold out of seasonal items first thing in the morning? Why don't they just augment the menu to show only regular items they will carry? Since their change in "health policies" 3 months ago, I rarely go to this one because they are so consistently disappointing. read more

Ordered 2 CM stirred they did not ring them up right we get to the window and told them they were supposed to be stirred and the guy hands us our drinks and hands us straws and tells us we can stir them. When I asked for stirred I wanted it all melted that's actual the Starbucks standard. I was a barista for years and this is unacceptable and their manager should be checking in on their mid shift crew. Listen I get things suck right now with the company believe me I've been there but leave the attitude at home and do your job. I would rather sit and wait longer for my order to be made correctly then pay for crappy service. read more

Extremely unprofessional. I arrived no later than 7:50...they close at 8. The doors are locked...employees ignored me. Went to the drive through...waited forever, finally got to the kiosk. I waited, waited...now it's 8:10. I get out of my car and walk to the front window. At first the employees ignore me then the manager comes to the window. The manager (no name tag) was so professional that she refused to give her name (yeah, I am sure that's what corporate expects). She is a young Caucasian woman with...pink, dyed hair I guess? She has the nerve to try to gaslight me and say, "Well, according to our monitor you were only there for six minutes." Really? And why the doors were locked at 7:50? "Oh, well, we were too busy blah blah blah." Always had great service here, 5 stars, but I take two off just for this. Bravo, Pink Hair, you're going places. read more

I don't know if it's because I came on a slow day or what.. the drive thru was wrapped around the building so I figured I'd place a mobile order and go in. I placed an order at 8:40, sat in my car for a bit & when I came it, it still wasn't ready. The baristas looked flustered and were all over the place. I finally got my coffee and tea at 8:59. Almost twenty minutes. Two stars because the baristas seemed to be working hard, but they need more training to have a better flow on the floor. read more

Pandemic or not this is the worst starbucks. Every time I go, my order is wrong. Weather it's the size or what I ordered. I'd come back but it takes 10 minutes to get through the drive thru the first time around I don't have time to wait another 10 minutes. Was on a 1200 mile trip. Stopped at this location. A lady, I believe may have been a manager but off the clock, was ahead of me, she apologized for holding up the line while talking to the person at the register. I was fine, didn't know what I wanted yet anyway. But for my inconvenience she purchased my entire order for me. So sweet On the first leg of our trip we had stopped on Two Notch Road for lunch at a different facility. Also recieved amazing, friendly service. Have been sitting in the drive thru for 20 minutes and haven't moved even one car yet. Traffic is backed up into the highway end people have even started bailing on the line as they realize how long they are in for. How on earth does it take that much time to make a drink or two? Save yourself an hour of your life and go to literally anywhere else. read more

This Starbucks is the worst one I've ever been too. The service is always so slow and this store is always out of absolutely everything. I don't even know why this Starbucks is still open. Also, if you are vegan, double check your drink because there have been multiple times I have ordered almond milk and have been given regular milk. I ordered a hot chocolate how can you mess a hot chocolate up let me tell you not put any whip cream on it and no chocolate in it the main thing and don't heat the milk up the way it's suppose to be heated up.I went five ten minutes away from Starbucks on two notch road Columbia sc 29223. Got to my destination slowly sipped the hot chocolate so I wouldn't burn my mouth up. Shut the front door I could have turned the cup up and been finish in a second but I didn't that was the nastiest hot chocolate with no taste I have ever had, would have went back for my money not a redo will never go back there again. Starbucks at Two Notch and Rabon: You won't find a better Starbucks in Columbia. From the store manager, Warren, to every barista, the employees are warm, kind, calm, and hard-working. They get my order right every time. They are welcoming. They are the best, best, best! The cafe is clean, well-stocked, and so full of light. The layout is conducive to peace and quiet combined with pleasant busy-ness. I do not visit any other if I can possibly help it. I have missed this place during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, and can't wait to sit in the cafe and enjoy the ambience again. read more

What a monumental disappointment and failure on the part of Starbucks and their poorly trained and careless employees. First I got the order wrong and instead of giving us two large items they gave us one large and one small and When we pointed out the mistake they simply gave us another small. Go inside and place an order be prepared to stand for 15+ minutes waiting for your order. Stand holding your toddler, stand holding your books, groceries. With plenty of space for social distancing sitting this Starbucks wants their paying customers to stand. They place signs on all chairs "... seating is not available." And get this if you do not order ahead you are waiting because they are servicing all drive through orders first. read more

Friday the 13th. It's been foreverrrrr and you've been out of stock of my NEW favorite: the pumpkin cream cold brew. You finally have it, though the app says you're out. The Drive-thru employee was great until the end of the conversation. When asked if I'd like anything else I responded "as tempting as it is, no thanks!".....after giving me my total, she didn't realize she was still on the speaker in a grossed out tone she proclaimed ..."well that was weird"...I left without paying or waiting or anything ... angry, mortified, confused. WTF WAS SO WEIRD??? Bad customer service. Received attitude from the "lead" over the phone prior to even approaching the subject at hand after asking for a manager. She rudely asked for my name, at this point my name isn't even relevant because I'm so triggered at this point I'm about to go full Karen. When I tell her what's happened, she changes her tone, but it's a joke. A misunderstanding, and she and the people in the background think it's funny, like, drunk college girl "ohmygawdijustthrewupinyourbalenciagaimsooooooosorrycrymeariver" kind of sorry. Professional.
