I gave the check out lady kudos for trying to help me w my request to scan and load my gift card onto my existing account. Unfortunately even though she was cheery over the drive thru speaker she couldn't help me w loading my gift card as she didn't know how. The kudos I gave were for her willingness to locate someone that could say, yes you can. The bad news was no one was willing to help her complete my request. Sad to say I drove away not satisfied. On top of that as I drove away with my tall flat white w 2 spendas, I realized quickly that no one put the spendas in my drink. I waited in the car line for quite some time to place my order so I decided to drive off rather than go through the inconvenience again. The property itself sits on an odd shaped funnel-like parcel of land that is off a very busy Lewisville Clemmons Rd in Clemmons so I expect the reason it was placed there was to have a little cache as the only Starbucks in coveted Clemmons in this locale. It is a little difficult to turn into the driveway and up the hill to the drive thru line as the drive thru traffic leaving w their completed orders are having to funnel into the on coming cars of Starbucks customers in line waiting to order. BUT.... As difficult as it can be, when you are in need of your fave beverage and in that area you" suck it up Buttercup" and get your brew or juice because you enjoy the beverages they have and know it will be a consistent familiar flavor you crave! read more

Meh...it's Starbucks, terrible location (weird entrance, parking and if you go inside you have to either wait in the take out line or do a 3 point turn to get back out to Lewisville/Clemmons Road. Waited 10 minutes for a plain coffee with almond milk and liquid cane sugar and the coffee tasted old/bitter at 9am on Saturday morning. I will support local and go the extra 50 yards to Be Kind Coffee from now on. (Used a gift card today so...there was that.) Be Kind is 100x better! read more

The product is typical the same as any other Starbucks but if I could give zero stars for service I would. I typically order ahead on the app. I've learned a million times before to order way EARLY because they take forever. Ordered 30 minutes in advance today and my drink still wasn't made. I don't understand why this location only has 3 stars... it's my favorite! The line does get long, but they do a great job of moving quickly. Chase is a great barista, always so friendly and willing to help! I asked about the Valentine's Day reusable cups and unfortunately they didn't have them, but he was so kind to go and make sure for me. Laurel manned the window; I waited just a few minutes on my drink, which was no problem but I was blown away when they gave me a gift card for my next beverage to compensate for the reasonable wait. The parking lot of this Starbucks is the worst. My friend and I could barely get into the parking lot because the drive thru line was backed up and the design of the it is awful. The parking was equally awful. Because the drive thru line was so long, it blocked all the spaces to the right as you drive in. We parked on the left but not before conducting a 3 point turn just to get into the spot because space is so limited. I waited several minutes at the register for someone to even acknowledge I was there, despite the fact there were 5 people behind the counter and one employee walked by me at least 3 times without even saying anything. Finally, a nice young woman acknowledged my presence and said she would help me but was unable to and it would be just a moment. Average Starbucks in an inconvenient location just a little too far off the highway to make it really great. The parking lot is tight, the drive thru is usually packed further complicating an already bad situation and no one knows how to drive making everyone just sit there and stare at each other in the parking area. It turns a quick coffee stop into an ordeal. The service here is hit or miss. Sometimes it's efficient and friendly and other times it's slow and cold. I try to keep my order simple at this location. Just coffee, no espresso drinks, and I go inside. I travel a lot and this location requires a u-turn and a mile drive off the interstate to access plus a squirrely dance through the CVS turn in if anyone has pulled up too far. Also this location has gender specific restrooms which besides being 2019 so come on already it's also annoying because most city Starbucks have moved to just two restrooms instead of labels which makes the lines move faster if you are using the restrooms while at this location. read more

First and foremost you have to have the Million Dollar Bacon. No question asked, just go through your initial pleasantries with your waiter/ waitress and tell them the million dollar bacon please. You will not be disappointed. The service is friendly, excellent quality food and the atmosphere and ambiance makes you feel welcomed. Will definitely return. read more

Lots of hate out there for this Starbucks. If I boycotted every company that donated to, supported or leaned in a social or political bent that I personally oppose then I would be growing and making all of my food. When that happens I guess my Yelp account would be totally useless. I can do with or without Starbucks. The rest of the family loves it so I'm normally along for the ride. I've been to this location several times. I have never had any problems with the quality of the product or the service at this location. The only negative is you can't turn into the parking lot if heading south on Lewisville Clemmons road. You have to make a U turn or cut through the CVS parking lot. read more

This is probably my favorite Starbucks location in the Winston area, I know it's in Clemmons. It's also the closest to me, as I live in Lexington. They are typically pretty fast at the drive thru, unless some ahead of you has a particularly large order. Also, roll up your windows after you order because there seem to be quite a few yellow jackets or hornets by there. The only time I've ever had an issue was at the drive thru, when I was trying to pay with a large bill. I realize it's an inconvenience for them but I had never paid with anything larger than a $20 bill here before. The barista proceed to cop a huge attitude with me even after I apologized. And continued to have a holier-than-thou tone while she spoke to me. Oddly enough she ended up comping my drink for me, so that was nice. The times that I have gone inside to order the baristas have been nice though. I often bring my laptop in to work or a book to read. The wifi connection is pretty good and I've managed to get a couple hours of work completed with no interruptions. It does get louder during peak hours but I bring headphones with me. This Starbucks location has also been the scene of some pretty awkward first dates, back in my single days. Mostly because it's quiet during non-peak hours and because coffee makes everyone more tolerable. read more

The employees are nice and the drinks are good.... however the drive thru is so terribly slow! I mean do not get in this line if you have to be at a place at a certain time, I would not recommend this place. I mean I think they are either under staffed or it's all new employees and they are lagging behind because they are still trying to learn the drinks. I waited in line for at least 25 minutes and then about 5-10 to get my drink at the window. read more

I have to say that since I work for Starbucks I can be hyper critical of our stores. When our stores are inconsistent, that speaks for our company as a whole. I love what Starbucks stands for and I love finding other stores that have their own "local coffee shop" vibe. This one didn't have it going on today. I don't usually visit this location, but my sister and I, on our way back to work, decided to pop in for an iced coffee. No one greeted us upon entering, no one looked up, no one said hello when we approached the register. I understand that you're busy making drinks for the drive-thru, but the way we were treated (or not treated) was unacceptable. Someone should have spoken up sooner to say "Sorry. Be right with you." or something like that, but we stood there for several minutes. A young lady came from the back room set her stuff down and immediately took our order. Our drinks were up to Starbucks quality and the remolded store is just lovely. I will definitely come back, but I just want to make the workers aware of how much customer service affects their business. read more

I have been going here for years. I have always had great customer service. Today I visited and ordered the new dragon fruit mango refresher I got a tall in case I didn't like it. When I left I wasn't paying attention I had received a strawberry refresher. I called spoke with josh who has very nice and apologetic about the mix up offered me several options on what I could do but I went back got my drink no problem. I like Starbucks in general, I alway order one of two things, the chai tea latte or the medium whole milk latte. I got the whole milk latte, it was good. I also ordered the oatmeal with nuts and dried fruit, also good. I like that the oatmeal had no sugar added (although you can add some if you want) and the portion control of the nuts and dried fruit is always a good thing. This a great Stabucks. They have recently done a renovation and it looks nicer. They upgraded the patio witch is a nice place to sit and have a drink. It is far enough off the road to not be quote so loud. The barista was very good and took extra carw with my drink. She though it was not smotth enough and reblended it before serving. I went through the drive thru today to order a vanilla bean coconut milk latte, like I've done consistently at other area Starbucks for months. They informed me that drink was "discontinued". I've never heard that term before from a Starbucks, they carry vanilla bean, but can't make a specific requested drink with all ingredients that they have on hand. I finally got a hold of the assistant manager Saturday morning and he offered to make me the drink I had ordered 15 hours before and I said no thanks....I'd like a refund of the 6$ latte I ordered but that would be too much of an inconvenience for this store. read more

Service is slow and half the time they don't get my order right, plus the drinks haven't been as good as they used to be, I'd recommend going to the Starbucks in Harris Teeter across from Tanglewood instead.
