It's been a while since I've ordered any of the smoothies Clutch offers, for as you can see in my previous reviews the quality of those drinks seemed to slip over time. But I do drop by Clutch sometimes for coffee drinks, usually of the iced or frozen variety. They're pretty good, though if you pick any of the flavored stuff you should be prepared for the sugar rush that will set in thereafter. I often avoid the flavor additions for this very reason. On occasion they'll even slip in a few shots of espresso on the house, which makes for a nice boost if you're into that sort of thing. The young folks working here are always polite and quick, and they've never gotten one of my orders wrong. Their location isn't hard to find, but there isn't much room to navigate from their order window back through the driveway they share with a neighboring business and then onto Lewisville-Clemmons. The site layout simply isn't great, so be prepared to contend with that. read more

I will start by saying we prefer to stop in at coffee shops where we can go inside and casually order. That being said, on Sunday my wife and I stopped in after hearing a lot of great things about Clutch. This location is convenient to I-40 on Lewisville Clemmons road. We stopped in about 11am and there were a few cars in line. We noticed there are two lanes, one on each side of the building but one of the lanes had parked cars within the lane, we aren't sure if that is typical at this location or not. There is a menu board but they also had two people standing outside taking orders. We asked what sugar free syrup options they had to which they responded, "we have a lot, pick a flavor!". All their flavors are clearly not listed on their menu board. We asked if they had caramel and vanilla and they said yes. My wife and had tried that combination before and really liked it. So, today it was sugar free caramel and sugar free vanilla latte's. My wife does almond milk and I do skim. Our latte's were ready shortly after pulling up to the window and we were on our way. We both enjoyed them but I did notice that mine was much sweeter when I got near the bottom which meant it could have been stirred better. Overall it was a good experience. read more

Stopped by Clutch Coffee Bar in Winston-Salem and tried the CoCo Loco energy drink and the nitro cold brew. The CoCo Loco was a fun pick-me-up with a great, tropical flavor--super refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. The nitro cold brew was smooth and had that rich coffee flavor I love, with a nice kick of caffeine. Definitely a great spot for both coffee lovers and anyone looking for something unique! read more

I go to clutch probably at least once a week. It's my go to coffee choice in Clemmons. I've tried a good bit of the menu. The harvest greens is tasty. I've ordered the peach Italian soda a few times during the warmer months since it's refreshing. The German chocolate shake was good in the hot summer heat. I've been hooked on the Irish dream currently. Seasonal flavors are a must try. The peppermint bark mocha is delicious. There's a good rewards program that just started via the app. read more

Updating my review in reply to the business owner's question: I'd give 5 stars if you offered more unique menu items and lower costs. There's plenty of options for coffee shops around the area, including gourmet independently owned shops, and I don't consider Clutch to really stand out from other places from that regard. It's a mixed bag, I've been a few times over the past year now. So the best thing is the service, nice staff at the window. I had been getting some kind of push pop flavored smoothie before but didn't see it in today's visit and I wanted some healthier option today. I ordered the harvest greens juice, size large and what I ended up with was about 8-10oz of watered down sugary juice and a packed cup full of ice, pretty disappointing for a $5 drink. So a smoothie is worthwhile but seems packed with sugar, the juice seems like a waste of money for what you get. But staff is great. Also listing calorie counts on the drinks would be nice. read more

Excellent local coffee shop chain... Clutch have it all together, Great coffee, service, menu, and friendly staff, and a local not chain feel. My local is the Clemmons branch, and I love going every week, getting my Caramel macchiato all done my personal way which they are great to do. Last week they were having issues with the espresso machine and it took longer than normal so they gave me a free drink coupon. Can't ask for better customer service. The staff always happy, greyou nicely and ask about your day. Not many places do that anymore. Many great menu options here and they have started doing breakfast sandwiches too now . You'll find me here before any other big chain drive thru ! Love supporting local ! So glad to have them close by. read more

ALL THE HALLELUJAHS this glorious coffee shop is in clemmons! Only one week in and I've visited 4 times. Their staff are so friendly, the music is so fun, the drinks are delicious, and prices are super reasonable! The line moves quick! Feel like I should do an update. I haven't reviewed the 50 times I've been to Clutch since the opening. But I'm here to tell y'all - they're still killing it. I come here almost every Saturday and I have yet to have an encounter with a less than delicious drink or less than wonderful staff member. They keep their seasonal drinks in rotation, be sure to ask what they have! Did y'all know they still have pumpkin? In February!!! I am 100% here for it. Their prices are awesome and they have a rewards program as well. Just give them your phone number. I feel like it doesn't take long at all to get a couple dollars off your drink! I've tried so many iced coffees here and I love them all! The Cupid's Truffle, which was their February feature, has been my favorite lately. It's white chocolate and raspberry... omg. So good! You really can't go wrong here! I'd love to try some of the energy drinks and teas, but I'm so hooked on the coffee! So glad Clutch made their way to Clemmons!!! read more
