It was sickeningly sweet and was far too light (too much milk). I moved to an iced green tea, but it was quite watery. We ordered two burritos, a chorizo and a sausage one. Sausage was fine, chorizo had some sort of rice or cornmeal in it and was very crumbly and dry. I can't remember the last time I returned food, but took both the burrito and latte back. My husband's quad shot vanilla latte was also very subpar. Stick with the baked goods and you won't regret the visit! Stray from that path and you'll find disappointment.

It might not be the fanciest place, but it has a warm, welcoming, and super clean atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Plus, everyone here was incredibly friendly. The value you get for the price is unbeatable--our meal was exactly $15! I ordered the Breakfast Bake, which came with a fluffy frittata, roasted potatoes, and a side of fresh fruit. The frittata was packed with feta cheese, making it wonderfully savory, rich, and creamy. It was so much better than the brunch we had at another spot the day before! My friend ordered the Gutbuster, which was a hearty, delicious scramble-style dish. Looking around, it seemed like a lot of other tables were ordering pancakes or bagels as sides, which looked amazing too. Definitely stop by this cafe for a perfect, budget-friendly brunch during your trip!

Lake Chelan doesn't have much in terms of high-quality vegetarian or plant-based gourmet options, but Bear Foods was a massively delightful surprise! The store is absolutely PACKED with things that I wanted to look at and take home. I was impressed with how many things they stocked that were items I've only seen online and never seen sold in stored. We took a super long time through the coffee and tea isle and ultimately took a few boxes and tins home with us because their selection was so good. Their cheeses and gourmet snacks area was well stocked, and I could see how some of the vacationing non-locals could keep a business like this afloat even with their considerable prices. I really wanted to go back, but we were in the area for a wedding and our timeline just didn't allow it to happen. Otherwise, I probably would have brought home a lot more of their amazing goodies! Only downside for me was that during our time there, there was a mask mandate, and not a single person working there was masked. I thought that was an odd thing to have despite the state's requirements and especially because they were a grocery store and having significant contact with patrons. Other than that, it was a really positive experience and I would absolutely return.

Very large and varied menu, take heed if you are a vegetarian, not a lot of choices. We stood and waited to be seated for about 5 minutes even though there were two servers and only a couple of customers eating. The two of them were far more interested in chatting than anything else. Once we were seated, we got beverages right away and our order taken quickly and the food came out super fast. My husband had the blueberry pancake breakfast, three huge pancakes with blueberry compote and whipped cream as well as bacon and an egg. He said pancakes were good and so big he could only eat half. I had a two egg breakfast that came with pancakes or hash browns, choice of bacon or sausage and toast. I opted for hash browns which were really good; that said, the toast was hardly even brown and it was supposed to be sourdough but if it was, pretty sad excuse for it. The bacon, four slices, was not cooked thoroughly and while it should have been crisp it was pretty limp. All in all the breakfast was ok and the restaurant was clean but I've had better food and its hard to ruin breakfast

It's so bizarre how slow this Starbucks is for nobody to even be in line. Me and my friend placed mobile orders consisting of a drink each and we both got 1 food item. Nobody at the speaker box said a word to use after like 2 minutes of waiting so just pulled up. I was like I have a mobile order for Madison and Sophia they were like we have the order for Madison there is none for Sophia . ( there definitely was ) after a small back and forth they made her order and gave her a grande instead of the venti she ordered and clearly did not heat up the croissant she ordered. I used to be a barista it takes 5 seconds to heat up the croissants they gave me my drink but forgot my grilled cheese so we had to wait some more. Oh of course the grilled cheese wasn't heated all the way and the cheese was crumbly and gross. Oh and of course they forgot my siracha too. Don't even go here read more

The former site of the Judy Jane Bakery and King's Fried Chicken. Starbucks came in and demolished that and built in it's place a huge unsightly Aspen-lodge styled eyesore. It's Starbucks, so you get what you pay for: burnt coffee and a corporate culture that does not value fair trade, recycling, or small town enviornments. Thanks for that one guys... a mar on the face of Chelan. read more
