This place takes way too long. Sat in the drive thru the other day for 10 minutes at 6:30am. With nobody in line in front of me. For 2 drinks. And it didn't appear that there was anyone in the store at the time. read more

I had a bad experience it toke 30 minutes for a ice mocha and they weren't busy at all! There was only two people ahead of me!! I will never go back to Lake Chelan Starbucks!! Thanks for nothing I threw it in the garbage the taste was so bad! - Aspen read more

It took this Starbucks 30 minutes to get my friend an iced latte. Seriously. Go elsewhere in Chelan and support small, local business... and you won't get shitty tasting coffee. read more

At least 25% of customers were not wearing masks and it was very crowded inside which made us very uncomfortable. There is a state mandate to wear masks inside at businesses and yet no one was saying anything to the customers. No wonder Chelan county hospitals are beyond capacity. read more

Never have been the biggest fan of Starbucks in General but this particular Starbucks has probably the worst service. The girl taking my order was very friendly but the 2 baristas making the coffee were oblivious to the fact that my drink order was waiting, and they were just standing there chatting, I waited about 5 mins before one asked what I needed..."um my drink would be great!" Then with a sigh and eye roll one finished my drink.. I can say they lost my business from here on out.. read more

Went to this Starbucks on Labor Day morning, which was CRAZY busy. They had 10 employees working and everyone was hustling. The line was literally out-the-door, as in 20 minute wait time to get your order in, and another 15 minute wait until you got your coffee. We ordered muffins in addition to our breakfast sandwiches, they were sold-out of sandwiches we wanted, and the drink orders were ready before the heated muffins! They'd forgotten our order of muffins, so we asked to simply have them unheated to save time. Staff was kind, it wasn't their fault it was so busy! The parking lot was a complete cluster, we had to back our vehicle out into traffic in order to leave. Would suggest they add additional staffing on the busy holidays as this entire town changes based on hotel/motel bookings (if the hotels and campgrounds are sold out, you know us non-locals are jonsing for our Starbucks fix)! Like a bunch of druggies, we are all cranky crazing for our coffee/breakfast at Starbucks before getting in our cars leaving town for our 3 hour drive back home. read more

Waited way too long for our drinks. Caramel frapp tasted like water, both green tea lattes weren't mixed properly, and service was nonexistent. I could not believe how slow it was and that the drinks came out subpar, I'm not a "coffee snob" either and probably wouldn't catch me reviewing a Starbucks as it's always consistent service, consistent taste, and brought out in a timely manner... this location does not meet Starbucks standards read more

Hold on to your belongings at this one. I have witnessed and heard countless stories of people leaving items at a chair to grab their drink from the counter only to come back and have their belongings stolen. The drinks are ok, and the service is great. Just a lot of theft going on. read more

Glad there is a Starbucks here, 2 stars. REALLY REALLY DONT CARE that the barista was "TIRED" and couldn't handle taking my drink order. Disappointed that the partners at this Starbucks seem as though they work there because there are not any other job options in LC. Get your S*** together, Bad drinks, bad service, bad Starbucks. That should NEVER happen at over $5 a drink. Urgh. read more

We end up here whenever we're in town, and its a very nice Starbucks. Great design with glass roller doors to keep us warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and be able to open up in the spring and fall. And glee is a fireplace for those cold, snowy, winter days. The baristas are courteous most all of the time. Sadly, during my last visit I was picking up an order I'd sent in, and no one would make eye contact. I finally had to yell at them to get attention. Pretty lame; which is why this isn't a 5 star location. I typically have a mocha, and my wife has the flat white. WiFi works well. We occasionally order ahead with the Starbucks app, and it is typically ready when we arrive (probably two minutes later). read more

Starbucks is a Starbucks and when i'm in the middle of no-where washington, in a tourist town and i can get my morning coffee just the way i like it, i'm a happy gal. Staff was friendly, resulting coffee was as expected. Location is cute, has a roll up garage door which would be nice on summer days! We were there over thanks giving and the sun coming in warmed us up nicely! read more

Spent some time in Lake Chelan over the fourth of July weekend. The condo I was staying at did not have internet access. I was pleasently surprised to walk into Starbucks and note a full-on fireplace (which obviously wasn't in use but added to the overall decor), a friendly staff, an absolutely gorgeous view of the Mountains, a spacious area, and a tasty carmel frappacino. Thanks for the saving the day Lake Chealn Starbucks! read more

Mobile order before coming. They are very busy but very awesome employees working their fastest. Carrie in particular was just a super star getting drinks out so fast. Loved her energy, great start to my morning! Constant friendly employees. Just know they do get pretty busy :) read more

Dropped by at this Starbucks while visiting Lake Chelan in July. The building is very nice, with lots of sunlight shining through the windows. I was ordering for a few friends, so my order was a bit complicated than usual. The service was friendly and quick. I think there were like 8 people working behind the counter that day. read more

I aways stop at the local Starbucks when I travel. Yup, the soy latte always taste the same no matter when I go!

SKIP IT AND GO TO ANOTHER LOCAL COFFEE PLACE. We love Starbucks and went once every day for 5 straight days. Every day regardless of time there was an average of 20 people waiting either in line to order or waiting for their drink. The staff misses many drinks since so busy and customers never know whose drink is whose since staff won't put customer names on cups. When I recommended it, I was given a dirty look. Customers always seem frustrated and baristas are easily annoyed by customers whose drinks missed or who are confused if drink is theirs or not. read more

I have been here a couple times.. I am surprised with the low reviews and it seems the staff doesn't really care.. Compared to other Starbucks I have been too this isn't the friendliest by far.. But they were fast and drinks were fine.. Never had a negative experience but never had a experience where I thought wow what a great friendly place.. Something every business should thrive for.. Confused but OK experience.. read more

Slow, and when trying to buy item from shelf was told they couldn't sell it to me cuz it was not ringing up, no attempt to make it happen at all and items were not removed from shelf since they couldn't be sold. read more

It's a starbucks in a tourist town, not sure what anyone is expecting. It's like any other 'bux. Busy but average. The one shining light for this location is the building. We went in winter, but in the warm months the large doors open, and I bet it's awesome. Fresh air, lots of outdoor seating. read more

While I typically like to try local coffee shops, I always head to Starbucks at some point during my stay in Chelan. They recently remodeled this location and it looks great! This review is mainly about Geoff! Geoff helped my husband and I the evening of 7/ 13. I have NEVER met a more helpful employee at Starbucks. He went the extra mile and provided us with the best service we have ever received at any establishment. read more

This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. 4 stops on a Chelan trip and I was astounded by the obvious lack of efficiency. With that said, nice people, nice store, just make sure to mobile order before you arrive or it will take 10 minutes to get an americano. read more

Hours are wrong - like most businesses in this sleepy town. They close at 8pm on the weekend. Bummer!

Ordered online and app said 3-7 minute wait time.....58 MINUTES later received my drink. Horrible service, rude baristas, never apologized.

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been too. The drive thru is part of the regular parking lot so if the drive thru is busy you can't get out of the parking lot. Spent 15 minutes stuck in parking lot on Sunday 7/30. Service is super slow... read more

Be grateful there is a Starbucks in town! Besides Walmart, Starbucks is pretty much the only other large chain in town. Everything else is small family owned and operated businesses which is great, but sometimes you just need something reliable like a Starbucks coffee, especially at the crack of dawn when a family business isn't going to be open. We like to stop here when we need to leave Chelan early and they always have friendly baristas and hot food. They do not have a full menu here like no salads or snack packs. I don't even think they have refrigerated sandwiches, just the kind in the display case. read more

Overall poor service. The lady helping us couldn't even tell us what was in the case and even when we pointed out what we wanted it took 20+ minutes . When we got it our order it wasn't even correct. We get it it's busy, I've worked in food service so I understand to some extent . Still disappointing though . read more

They spent all their money making this Starbucks as aesthetically pleasing as possible, and NO money on finding capable baristas. At least 20 minutes to get two drinks. One person was in front of us, and was sooo slow, I considered saying something if I hadn't been engaged in conversation with my friend. This place is horrible, they wouldn't stand a CHANCE at my Starbucks in Cap Hill. read more

Every time I come to this store, which is about 4 times a year, the service is exceedingly slow. Today, with two people in front of me to order, it took 10 minutes to take two drink orders. It then took over ten additional minutes to get my drink. I like the people at this store, very friendly, but service is so slow. read more

This place has real problems. I walked in last Friday afternoon and there were about 20 or so customers just waiting around, many hanging around the pickup table. The place was really dirty with trash around. Like an idiot I ordered some iced tea. Then I waited and waited. After twenty minutes I asked about it and I saw that my order was still behind another 20 or so earlier orders that weren't being made. I asked for my money back. While I was filling out the paperwork to get my $2.35 returned several people came and complained about 'waiting for a half hour'. Seriously, if they can't do orders they shouldn't take orders from anyone. They need a sign on their door that says 'abandon hope, all ye who enter'. For better service go to Vogue on Main Street. read more

This Starbucks has the worst service of any Starbucks I ever went to. Clueless staff, slowly made drinks, and a propensity for mixing things up. Do not go here, avoid at all costs. read more

I have never had such horrible service at a Starbucks in my life. We waited in line to get our drinks for at least 15 minutes watching people who were standing behind us get their drinks before we did. When we asked we were told there was a line for just cold drinks being made. However cold drinks were going out left and right. Will NOT BE BACK. read more

Seriously, have you ever been to a Sbux that doesn't carry the New York Times? Excuse me? Anyway, whatever, the coffee was fine.

This has to be the slowest starbucks ive ever encountered. It seems the drive thru is the priority. Every time I come in there is a line to the door. I've just watched about 10 groups of people give up and walk out frustrated. Not starbucks brand at all. read more

Waited 30 min for two drinks, they need more people working for how much traffic comes through, some baristas are very polite and apologetic but most are rude and snotty. Drinks are consistently messed up or just complete forgotten. People received food 30 min before their drinks. read more

Wow harsh reviews from a lot of people. THe great thing about this starbucks is that it is employed by locals. And you are in Chelan! I mean sure most starbucks in larger cities may have better employees, but in a town of 2500 it is great that it can employ the locals to help out. If you are there in the off season, it is just as great as any other starbucks. If you are there during the busy season, what do you expect? Just like every other place in that town, its going to be busy and employees are working as hard as they can! read more

7+ people behind the bar, one guy making all the drinks--hot AND cold, 20+ people waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.... Trying to back out of your parking place, but you can't because the massively backed up drive thru line? Priceless. What a cluster. read more

The Chai was good, but this was the longest I ever had to wait at a Starbucks for someone to ring me up. I was first in line, and at least four employees worked on drinks for the drive through and ignored me for three minutes. read more

They do a grea job here considering all the tourist nonsense they have to put up with. I stood in a long line of not-very-patient tourists while one of them went on and on to the barista/cashier about how her coffee had to be perfect because it was going to be for someone special. Seriously, if I had been the barista, I would have told her where she could find her perfect coffee.... read more

I can now see why this location has so few stars. The star was super kind, but my chestnut praline latte tastes like regular coffee with milk and sugar and the tiniest amount of flavor. I'll continue to get my coffee elsewhere.... read more

This was my second time visiting this Starbucks. First time was during peak summer season for Chelan and 2nd was today, 3pm on a Friday before the peak weekend ski crowd is really in town. My experiences were virtually the same despite he first visit being one in store and today's being in the drive through. My first visit in summer (it was so bad I still remember it) he store was virtually empty, with a steady drive thru line but not ridiculous. It took them 15 minutes to get our drinks to us and when we got them every single cup was a sloppy mess on the outside - no care taken with them at all. And the sad part was every person in the store waited just as long. They had more than enough people behind the counter to manage these beverages and yet it took so long? Today in the drive thru was no different. Only one car in front of us and we only ordered one latte. We waited 10 minutes for our beverage. And it has a mess down the side of it as well. This store doesn't not meet Starbucks standard. Not even close. And it seems based on previous reviews, that they don't seem to care. Starbucks should overhaul the management here and get things o standard. read more
