One time I got coffee and biscuits and gravy another time I got just a coffee and this last time I got a mango smoothie. The smoothie was amazing! The biscuits and gravy was super good too. This place seems to always be busy and it's not uncommon to find cars stopped out in the street lined up waiting. There is a walk up window too which often brings in the pedestrians that line up and crowd around the window waiting which tends to block the sidewalk for passerbys. The Coffee Cabin owners also take pride in their community and donate to local organizations that help the communities youth as well as other needs. The baristas have always been friendly. When and if you're in town stop by The Coffee Cabin.... And if the line is too long go inside Rio Vista (a few feet from Coffee Cabin) which is owned by the same people and they have coffee and breakfast items in the morning as well.

I had the joy of trying the citrus croissant today - I don't remember the last time I've had a croissant so good since I tried Love croissants in Houston, TX! I absolutely devoured this croissant. I couldn't believe how bright and moist and buttery and layered and soft and perfectly sweet. It was. It wasn't overly sweet. It wasn't dry. It was just incredible. I had the Genese Mocha - mocha with citrus! Also perfectly sweet not over sweet. Everything about this place is adorable. Her handwriting on my cup, the adorable rose stamp on the side of the cup, the antique decor in the hallway and bathroom and throughout the entire Coffee Shop! Such wonderful staff. I believe I met the two owners today, although I failed to ask their names! One was baking and one was running coffee. This is an absolute jewel of a place. With one fewer coffee shop option in town, they do tend to get pretty busy. We lucked out this last time and were able to claim a table and stick around a while. The coffee here tastes good but tends to deliver a bit too much of a caffeine punch for me, so I need to remember to order a split shot. I appreciate that they include honey at their self-serve station so I can add the right amount I know I like. I tried a veggie frittata this last time as well and thought it was okay. Cute tees, to-go mugs, and other merch for sale. Looks like they operate as a wine bar in the evenings though I've never come in later in the day to try them out. Maybe next time.
