The service is outstanding! My frustration is with the table set-up. PLEASE separate the tables so that one person isn't hogging two tables! Many times we aren't able to sit inside because individuals sit at one table and put their laptop on the other. Is a frequent branch I go to in the immediate since moving a year + ago from Seattle. The inside of the store is clean, bathroom generally clean. Great location, fast and very friendly service. Drive through is very convenient and runs pretty quick. Can be pretty awkward when the drive-through is busy, and a pain to get on/off Providence Road. That said, the order is always correct, service quick and efficient, and great staff. Tons of seating indoor and great outdoor spot. Inside the store has to be one of the most well lit Starbucks or cafes I've ever been in. This is a solid Bux - the challenge is finding a seat if you're looking for a remote work spot - it's packed nearly every day of the week. Lots of realtors, interviews, work meetings, etc. the service is perfectly fine and the staff are all friendly. It gets loud and the ability to plug in is sporadic so prepare accordingly. Waverly itself is a bit of a malfunction junction so be prepared for traffic in and out - however, this doesn't keep me away and won't - the lighting and atmosphere is far better than some of the other locations who moved to uncomfy seating with the intent to minimize your stay. I like that this bux has good hearty tables and SPACE to eat and work instead of those airline sized tables and uncomfy chairs. read more

I love this location, I live across the street from it and their service is AWESOME, very personable.. I wish the location on Rae rd. At stonecrest would take training from this team. My order has only been off a few times and Matthew immediately corrected it.. Matthew, Morgan, Greyson, Gia, Lucy & a few others who've gone on to college made it their business to know my name and learn my drink of choice!! This is my first time into this location since it opened. Let me say that this has to be one of the cleanest and most Handsomely appointed stores I have been to! The floor to ceiling windows let in all of the light even on very dark rainy days like the morning I visited. Inside this place is roomy and does not feel over crowded. This would be a great spot to meet up with friends, do some reading or even work while not feeling dark and cramped. I will definitely be back! read more

What is it with Charlotte? Places post hours, never really mean it. 10 pm close...nope, not tonight. Go by at 9:45 we get "Sorry, we closed at 9...sorry 10...sorry 9:30 tonight." While a surprisingly accurate description of their policy at this location, it's still fairly lame when customers foolishly think that 10pm closing actually means 10pm. So I spend almost $1,000 a month at this particular Starbucks, going 2 or sometimes even 3 times a day. I order the exact same drink every time for myself. I ask for it to be made a specific way but it's not like rocket science, it's a venti cup filled half way up with a tall white chocolate mocha and the other half with whip and a ton of caramel crunch topping which I get charged a little extra for. I have no problem paying whatever extra amount they think is appropriate for the extra crunch topping. Anyway, I've had to send my drink back several times to be remade correctly and I'll hear different members of the staff talking smack about me because I want my drink made right. I'm sorry but if I'm spending that kind of money somewhere I expect to get what I am paying for. So because I expect my drink and food to be made right and return it when it's not and because I have gotten frustrated when I've heard the staff making rude comments about me I have basically been told I'm not welcome there. Keep in mind when my drink is right I tip 2, 5, and sometimes even 10 dollars. I'm just saying, don't expect your money or loyalty to matter at this particular location. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever. Their manager Mathew is unprofessional and lacks any customer service skills. He should fire! I went through the drive thru line and ordered a latte and a danish. When the young lady handed me my drink the lid wasn't properly placed and the hot drink spilled all over my lap and car seat, dashboard. I screamed and asked her for napkins. She apologized and told me they will make me another drink. When I ask to speak to the manager, she came over and apologize. Not once did she asked if I was ok. I told her this is a safety issue. I could have had a 3rd degree burn. They need to make sure the lids are placed properly before handing it over to their customer. I know the line was long but rushing can lead to someone being injured. She didn't even acknowledge my statement. Just offered me a few towels to clean up. When i called this morning to share my experience with Mathew, he was dismissive and told me to call corporate. Who hired these people? Horrible customer service! read more

This Starbucks is always busy. On rare occasion when they are slow, you can get a glimpse of the employees dancing.

After having a difficult time with another starbucks not too far away, I was hesitant to review until I had given it some time. These guys here are awesome! Generally a pretty standard Starbucks but they have botched my drive-thru order three times now. Latest episode was forgetting cream in my coffee this morning after I had to wait in the parking area for them to brew decaf. Follows on two other goofs recently. Either I just have bad luck or they have a quality issue. If you use them, be certain the check the order before driving off. read more

Terrible customer service. I just went to breakfast with my daughter in Waverly and went through the Starbucks drive-thru before heading home. It was raining pretty heavily and I have not been through this drive-thru before. There are 3 different signs/ posts and I missed the one where you order as I never heard anyone say anything. I realized it was too late so I was just going to order my venti black coffee at the window. After being in line for about 15 mins and getting to the window, the condescending girl at the window says she is sorry but I have to drive around again or come inside because they can't take orders at the window. For black coffee. Absolutely ridiculous. I left. There are too many places to get coffee including many other Starbucks locations to put up with this. I would steer clear of this one. read more
