I tried out this Starbucks today. I definitely like the space. It is much larger than the other Starbucks in Centreville. I do appreciate a quiet room to work and/or have a conference call. I ordered the healthy Spinach wrap for breakfast. The personnel I was a little disappointed in. No one greeted me when I entered like the other Starbucks. The cashier got my name wrong. I was wondering why my order was taking so long. They placed it on a counter away from the other orders and spelled my name Sady instead of Sandy. I'll give them another try next week. read more

This Starbucks is located adjacent to the retail complex which houses the Dulles Expo Center. It's a little hard to see at first as it is clumped in with a bunch of fast food restuarants. I ordered a Grande Cold Brew with Half n' Half. The drink was strong and delicious! There is a ton of seating inside - and some outside, as well as a Drive-Thru. This is the first Starbucks I've seen that has a dedicated room available for rentals. It was being utilize the day I visited - and so is off-limits to regular customers. I'd like to give a shout out to Crystal. She took my order at the register when I came in on Tues, Jan 13th around 3:45pm. She was friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. I asked her for some specific accommodations to my drink order and she was able to make it perfectly. Tasted wonderful. She also suggested to have the cinnamon pull apart pastry warmed up, and that was a great suggestion. It tasted amazing warmed up. This girl is 2L2Q. You typically use the drive-through, but this time you went inside and received poor service. I've waited five minutes before being acknowledged, and when it was time to receive my order--two chocolate croissants--no one called my name. When I approached the counter to ask about my order, the staff mistakenly gave my items to someone else and claimed it wasn't mine. I go to this Starbucks all the time, but today? Today was just the worst experience ever. The girl in the drive through was ridiculous. She kept saying she couldn't hear us, like why you got a person with hearing problems in the dam drive through? On top of that our drinks were bitter and I have the same drink all the time and this time was just horrendous. I let her know and told her to do it again, she asked what was wrong with it, and while I was talking she just stared at me the whole time and waited for me to finish and look at my husband and said "Can you repeat what she said? She put more milk in the drink and she there telling me how the drink is like that and crap. Like NO LADY, this is not it. While waiting for my niece at her dance class I popped over to the outdoor shopping center for Chantilly Exp center and visited the Starbucks for my first visit. Tucked away from other restaurants (all fast food) there is a drive through but I elected to go inside and ordered my London Fog Latte and a chocolate chip coke (unlike Barnes and Noble where they also have oatmeal at the Starbucks). Large inside, clean bathrooms. My order isn't usual so the cashier had to explain how to make but it came out fine and it was a nice afternoon snack. read more

This Starbucks stands out to me because of their consistently exceptional customer service over the years. They are always willing to help customers who come in and order in-person (rather than in the app) who may have questions or difficulty ordering, and are always making sure customers have what they need, e.g., if the employees notice customers have been waiting for a long time. Other things to note: This is a really nice-looking, newly renovated Starbucks and there is a separate private room with a long table if that suits your needs. read more

I find this location to have very friendly employees and my orders are always correct and expertly made. It's a convenient location in the Chantilly shopping center near Dulles Expo and the Walmart. Years ago when they first opened, they were the very last location to have the gingerbread syrup in stock to make gingerbread lattes (our absolute favorite) and we thought we had found a gold mine, ordering several each visit until they sadly ran out by early February. Oooooooo I love this location!!!!! Every new Starbucks from the round up needs to be modeled after this one!!!! Its huge on the inside and so shiny and pretty. There is plenty of seating throughout!! Large tables, small tables and even a private room with a sliding door, so if you have a large party you can occupy this space. I would make sure you do not have to reserve it because the space is that big! High tops and low tops alike!! The location is so open and inviting it makes you feel like you need to stay for a while even if that was not your intent. The baristas are friendly and make your transaction a breeze!! In addition to the great baristas and all your typical faves, this location also had the taps for the cold brews which are not standard at all locations. If time is not on your side and you cannot walk in they do have a drive thru!! Located right off 28 and in the same general area as the Dulles Expo its great to have a bucks in this area instead of having to travel further out for some coffee goodness. read more

Great Starbucks! Service is very friendly and professional, they will remake your drink if you're not satisfied for any reason, pastries are warmed to perfection. Never had a single issue here and always thoroughly impressed. Love the drive thru it's so convenient and open early! If you haven't tried the cinnamon cloud make sure you do! Register for the app to get points on every dollar and accrue to a free drink. Really worth it in the end especially when you can get coffee no matter if you forgot your credit card at home with the trusty app. You can customize easily there too. The baristas here are very knowledgeable Incase you don't have the app but want to make sure your beverage is dairy free, sugar free, or whatever your dietary needs are. Seating is perfect with tables for work, more lounge-like individual seats, or bar high tops in the back for interviews, catch up sessions, or a casual date! I have noticed they seem to host some events in the back corner and can separate it off from the rest of the shop for special events with sliding doors. read more

I'm here for the first time on a Friday afternoon in September. There are plenty of chairs inside and it's mostly empty, only one or two other people. I think they do most of their business through the drive-thru. A good place to do some work. I'm finding the wifi is a little flakey for some reason, but I'm able to connect through McDonald's wifi. Came around 7pm had mobile ordered for drive thru just a couple minutes before pulling into the drive thru and told the worker the mobile order name and off the bat she was rude and disrespectful saying they don't have the order until we had to say we just placed it and then she had an attitude with us and tried telling us to pull forward and park because we ordered 3 fraps but in reality we ordered 2 and a matcha so if you're gonna be a rude bitch at least know what the actual order is don't be rude and wrong pick a struggle. This is very disappointing and upsetting as an ex partner for starbucks i know this is not how the customers should be treated and I think they need to check their workers and do a retraining because this is not how starbucks treated people when i worked there a couple years ago you weren't supposed to tell people to pull around and park but maybe it's different now or by districts. it's unfortunate because the interior of this starbucks by far the best in town but the staff seems so understaffed and therefore rushing the drinks. My drink tasted so terrible... I order the same thing at every starbucks so I KNOW what my drink is supposed to taste like. I politely asked to fix my drink and they did but the second time was somehow worse. I understand working through the morning rush as an ex-barista myself, but this location definitely prioritizes the drive-thru in the mornings. I always place my mobile order at least 15 minutes before I arrive to pick it up but it still takes another 5 or so minutes for them to make my drink when I arrive in store. This location is brand new as of this year, and unsurprisingly clean and spacious with mid-century modern decor as it took the former location of a Chik-Fil-A. The coffee and service are typical of any other Starbucks; the issues are with its operation. First and foremost, this Starbucks is kept at an icy cold temperature year-round. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the coldest establishment I have ever been to. In Winter you can wear your winter coat with layers underneath, or Summer jeans with a long-sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt; you will be left shivering nonetheless. The counters and wooden tables are even cold to the touch. It's impossible to stay here longer than to be served your coffee, which I suspect is the reason they keep this location so cold. Next is their conference room which can be rented out. Fantastic space, and great that it can be rented out, however I don't know why anyone would with how cold the building is. Furthermore, the staff doesn't enforce or care about rental times. I was once at this location and a group kicked everybody out of this room at 6.15 for their 7.00PM rental. Excuse me, but if they wanted to occupy this room at 6.15, maybe they should have made their reservation for 6.00 instead. Staff didn't care, which should be concerning to whoever manages this location, because this not only made customers walk out the door a full 45min before they should have had to, but also because they're allowing rental money to be left on the table by essentially giving free rental time to whatever groups rent the room and show up early. Awesome deal for rental consumers, but as a business practice, poor. I really, really want to love this location, but they are doing quite a lot to drive people away. read more
